[Q] Am I bricked? - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Despite all my research I think I've bogged it... My P5110 upgraded automatically to JB and I lost CWM in the root although I was still rooted. I have no connection anymore with ODIN through USB to my PC (latest KIES drivers).
I decided to try the AOKP build 2 ROM but I am ashamed to say I tried to install it through mobile ODIN instead of CWM and it hasn't worked.
I have a stock recovery mode and it won't install anything from the external SD and I'm stuck on the Galaxy Tab screen plus the machine won't switch off.
The stock ROM I am trying to get back on is P5110XXBLH3_P5110UVSBLH1_PEO.zip I also have GT-P5113_P5113XARCLH-OTA-P5113UEBLH3_XAR_280235988.zip but no luck with either.
Is it dead?

Don't panic, seems like a driver issue more than a problem with the tablet. Troubleshooting:
Clean tablet USB port
Go to Device Manager in Control Panel, find your tab, go to properties, update driver
Try another computer

[Q] Cant reset Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3113 back to stock. Cant connect to computer

Hello guys. I've been having this problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3113 ever since I flashed Cyanogen mod on it. I would like to set it back to stock firmware but for some reason my PC wont recognize my tablet as a device. My tablet will charge and I also have USB debugging on but still my windows 8 laptop wont recognize my tablet.
So here is my problem in a nutshell:
I Cant find the stock rom for my tablet
My tablet cant connect to my computer
Please help me. I would rather not spend another couple hundred dollars on a new one.
Thanks!
-Isaiah
The only way to go back to stock (factory state) is flashing a backup, which is recommended before installing Cyanogenmod or any other custom rom. Other than that, if you're lucky, you can try and find the stock firmware for your P3113.
The issue of your P3113 not connecting to your PC via USB: Try powering off the tablet completely. Connect your tablet to your PC via USB. It should install the USB drivers. When it's done, disconnect your device, boot up the tablet completely. Connect the tablet to your PC again with the USB. If you don't see a change, try enabling USB debugging. I had the same issue with my P5113. This worked for me.

[Q] P6800 not recognized in recoverymode

Hi,
I've been trying to step up from 4.0.4 ICS to JB, but I'm stuck in recoverymode because win7 doesn't recognize my Tab.
When the Tab is booted normally there's no problem, so the drivers are there.
But the moment I boot up using power+vol up -> device not recognized or malfunctioning.
I've tried 2 pc's , even reinstalled windows on 1 to make sure it was a clean system.
tried running odin 3.07 and 1.85 before attaching the usb-cable
I even removed KIES to make sure it wasn't running (left the drivers on my system)
(I used Odin 1.85 to upgrade from 3.2 to 4.04 last year)
What am I missing?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Used Odin Mobile pro to flash JB(singapore), Tab is working, usb is recognized,
but still Odin(desktop) doesn't

how to bring back p3100 (solved)

I usually keep flashing ROMS.
This time in sheer confidence I didnt charge the battery full.
I was switching from mokee 4.4 to CM11.
I wiped everything for a fresh install and unfortunately CM11 didnt install.
The tab restarted and now it wont go into recovery. what just happened?
It is just showing logo and I cannot get into Odin more either.
The tab had about 30% battery when it shut off and I cannot reach a charger for it for the next 4 hours.
Can I switch it off in any way to save battery?
the phone has switched off now. Is service center the only alternative? the tab was rooted with mokee installed.

Try charging it when you have time and then try re flashing the stock Rom before taking it to service center
will the tab 2 charge without a recovery or ROM in place?

I think it should
Ok, the tab2 is charging. thank you
I installed all the necessary drivers and odin and recovery on my laptop.
The tab2 is giving error on pc (this device wont start) mtp uSB. THe tab is stuck at 'samsung p3100' logo.
If it is any help, I have a working p3100 also running on stock firmware.
what should be my next step? I think I can manage if only I can get odin to recognize my phone or get into recovery (both of which seem to be missing.)

Try reinstalling drivers
@shsagnik : Thank you very much for helping out.
I got installed all drivers by using the other P3100. But when I connect the bricked p3100, pc doesnt install MTP USB drivers. Under device manager it says " failed to start".
ODIN doesn't recognize it. either.
My mistake was I flashed everything on the phone including the internal memory.
PS: Can I force ODIN to recognize my phone?
Ok, my almost bricked device is back and runnning.
This might just help somebody. but my android handset was on a logo only mode. something in the combination of
Attaching it to pc (windows 7 64-bit)
re-installing and rejigging drivers
trying to let ODIN identiify
connecting via Samsung kies (I also tried restore on kies).
connecting a working android phone instead of the dead phone with pc to find and install drivers.
worked.
PS: I also let it sit dead powered off (worked only when charger was attached) for a whole day before trying to boot into recovery or bootlaoder (both worked).

[Q] SM-G920F hangs on startup

Hi,
My Phone is now hanging up at the ":
"Samsung Galaxy S6 powered by android" screen
I can still get into recovery and downloadmode.
The pc "sees"the internal storage, but it wont allow me to copy a rom or anything to it,so that i may reflash a rom
Also if i use the "kies"or "smartswitch" programme, it says it cant connect to the Phone.
if reinstelled the samsung driver via kies
Also i have tried deleting the kies and driver from the pc, rebooting and reinstalling kies and driver, bit still the same result
It seems to me that if i could get a rom back on the internal storage i would be able to flas a new rom and get things working again?
Can anyone assist?
thaanks in advance

Tab Pro 8.4 SM-T320 Brick or something that makes it unrecognizable to any pc through any wire.

So basically my tab pro 8.4 sm-t320 is stuck bootlooping in recovery mode (so stock recovery and twrp is gone) and when I go to odin download mode and I connect to a pc with usb, it doesn't connect with the pc or show up in odin and kies, even though I have gotten the drivers and stuff. I did reset my entire internal storage before this happened because I was trying to install a rom, so I feel like that might of messed up the internal drivers of the tab. Ive looked at many answers, but none are this specific, and none work. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.
Take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.
