Can anybody pls help me with a download link for the miui rom for g2x with english language . Please . Thanks in Advance .

dude go to general development then click on my g2x running miui ya know what hold on and dude u should search a little not hard

here you go ill also grab u some 3d animations just download it and flash the animations like u would a rom u can adjust how fast u want them in spare parts, heres the newest miui build http://ow.ly/1dWBw6 also to apply themes grab root explorer then go to data, then system, then hit ur menu button on ur phone and hit add new folder, then just type,....... theme, just like that no quotations or capital t just theme, now hold on let me grab the 3d animations, dont forget to hit thanx!

So I installed the latest MIUI build from the links provided and have been running it for a day and love it my question is that there are two versions in there. CHD 2.0 and build 1.7.22 I believe. Is there a difference? I'm using the last one.

Galaxy S I9003 Q&A

I tried to get to Bridge Base Online on my GT-I9003.
(FROYO and Flash Player 10.1)
Using the supplied browser (which I think is Google Chrome) I get the site login page but am unable to enter user name and password.
Tried installing Firefox Mobile but it moans about needing Flash and does nothing.
Installed Flash Player 10.3 from market but no change.
BBO site is at: http://www.bridgebase.com/client/client.php
Have checked on BBO Forum and there are those who can access the site from Android phones.
Would welcome any advice or info

[Q]I want to learn when Turkey will have Gingerbread?
Guys i dont want to use released versions of gingerbread by samsung i just want to update my phone via kies. i didnt even root my phone cuz of the fear of losing warranty. Can someone help me? i twitted about that to SamKiesUpdates but they didnt give me any response. Thanks for every answer..

nodoby can give you that answer cause nobody knows it. it's that simple. if you don't want to flash it yourself via odin, you just have to wait until it shows up on kies. and i don't think warranty should be a problem as you always can turn back to your old firmware. (of course if you didn't do anything really serious to your phone)

You must be deodexed before applying the theme.

does anyone know how to format an efs partition cause whenever i try to push my nv_data.bin it says memory full(i nitially i flashed the wrong efs.rfs file)??? i'm using xxkph

try to remove nv_data.bin, .nv_data.bak and .nv_data.bak.md5 before uploading your previous nv_data.bin
BUT I didn't do this operation and don't know if it'll help you

Right..! I think Dev of our phones are mainly focusing on USB OTG and TV OUT! Also,it is the peak time for some Custom ROM's to hop in! Maybe,some DEV will try to port it once he sees the vedio. Even I wanna port it,but,I find no Time!

hi and good day, we'll be flashing my friends I9003 to GB 2.3.4 XXKPH and already downloaded all the files, just a little confused though, the only file i got is latona_20110114.pit w/c is put to PIT and I9003XXKPH_I9003XXKPH_I9003SERKPH_HOME.tar which I'm not sure where to put it, is it for the PDA? is that all that i need to flash it? what about for the PHONE and CSC should I leave it blank?

Guys is there any way to make the Lockscreen Wallpaper Slide like in the Galaxy S2
no need for the widgets and other options
I think this can be done by editing the glass lockscreen.
replacing the transparent image But I cant find that transparent background
So guys please help me to find that file or you can edit some xml file to add a new image files to framework-res.apk to show instead of transparent background

yes already "search for it" and found it but the firmware i downloaded is just I9003XXKPH_I9003XXKPH_I9003SERKPH_HOME.tar, tried dling it from samfirmware but still just one file no file for the PHONE and CSC?
is the I9003XXKPH_I9003XXKPH_I9003SERKPH_HOME.tar and latona_20110114.pit the only files i need to upgrade to GB coming from stock 2.2?

I've got few problems in theming my phone, I dun know how to do although i've read a lot of articles about it. So I hoped that someone could help me
Here is my phone's spec :
My phone is rooted
Firmware ver :2.3.5
Baseband ver : I9003XXKPM
Kernel ver : 2.6.35.7-CL696171
[email protected]#1
Build no : GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Then come to the questions

FIRSTLY..
I GUESS you are not rooted...
u are running a stock kernal...
u have to flash your phone with a cf-root to get root acces and CWM wihc is necessary to flash files and deodexing...u can flash universal CF-Root by amit bagaria..or Universal beta9fix.tar by XDA_Bam u need to flash them through ODIN...
First Do the above steps..report back if there is any issue...
then move to the next one..

ur config says ur on KPM... the theme will work on KPM as the OP suggests...
yes DEODEXING is must...
u have to deodex using a simple zip file... from here.. load it into ur mmc and flash using cwm...

and you will not lose any sms...apps or other stuff..deodexing just removes ur odex files and replaces them with jar files to allow u customizatin..

Instead of waiting why dont you upgrade to xxkpq.All the mods and themes are designed for kpq.
And all the files for deodex and stuff will be easily available

u shud move to xxkpq if u want more themes and mods..i guess its a stock rom so it MUST b having chinese language...
To backup up contacts sms and logs...u have an app called Super backup in market.. that wud save ur contatcs ...and For APPS u have titanium backup...
use them to take backups.. after taking the backups COPY THE BACKED UP folders to ur PC...
cz flashing the phone may remove them...
So u need to go flash xxkpq then cwm...deodex...ext4..theme..
copy back the folders and restore whatever u feel lyk..

All Rom that already Posted in here should work on your phone, i am noob too in this stuff i took time to read and ask and now i am not afraid to flash any Rom that i like , Yes i've bricked my phone many time but there is always way to fix it.

The ICS ported it pretty amazing , but it still has some stuffs to be fixed like the Camera is upside down but you still can try it though.
And the CM10 is Really amazing too but it doesn't have the 3D specs anymore, but i think later on it will be because Thanks to our Developers they working hard to give an amazing opportunity get better Rom to work on our devices , and they doing it for free. BIG Thanks to all of them.

How did they solve it ?
one thing i found too is that there lots of programs in Korean language on ICS ported, and the 3D video Playback did not work with me.

Go to (with any root browser) /system/app .
You will find the system apps ,, find ArcCamera.apk and ArcCamera.odex ,, delete both of them .
Then copy the file I gave .
That is all :thumbup:

I've tried this but its all failed because my phone is not rooted , i've tried all those way on how to root the ICS PORTED my phone end up crashing after..... I will have to root my phone then i will try to fix the camera by this guide you just showed me now...
