Hello I have encountered a problem with installing apps. I'm on gb(xxkpq) deodexed. when I try installing APPs it tells me that I have no space left when I have 5GB space left on my internal sd card(sd swap). Even when I try to install apps through Google play it shows that I have insufficient storage space on my device. Why is it happening? Help pls

Look for the storage whose size is 1.83gb
If that is filled then clear it by removing few apps or moving apps to sdcard.

When did this happen? After you rebooted/installed a theme/mod?With which app did this happen?

So I'm trying to free up some space because i only have an 8gb card, and i want to download the new Batman game, which takes up a lot of space. So my question is, are the lost.dir files needed? Because they take up a lot of space, but i don't know what to delete
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
You can delete them but they will keep coming back
If your lost.dir is taking up any space (past the directory itself), you have had filesystem corruption problems on that volume. That directory is used when the OS can't repair the filesystem and puts "orphaned" directories and files in there.

You should probably try freeing up some space!
Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 2
I do. But still like that
Sent from my GT-P3100 using xda app-developers app
First,do you really have enough free space for whatever you are trying to install?
If yes:
-Try going to Google Play on the application manager and try clearing its cache and then rebooting. I remember there was a crazy bug where this fixed it, on other devices.
If not:
-Uninstall apps you dont use (duh =p )
-Try clearing cache/history. Many apps do that, but you can also do it manually by going the application manager on the apps that are using it and clicking clear cache.
- If you are rooted, you can try moving some games/apps to the actual external SD, using apps like App2SD, Gl2SD or this script http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1961097
Nothing interesting. Close this please
Say incompatible with my device doesn't look like it works for xperia play

Why do you even need this? I used titanium backup to move user apps to SD and all works fine.
Edit: oh I thought you mean apps in internal storage. We don't need this
not useful for xperia play as game loft data is on SD Card anyway as we don't have internal storage like s3 etc
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2
How can this help? Actually I have all my data in the SD.
This is not for xperia play. Its for device wich have internel sdcard with is mounted as /sdcard and can read externel sd cards wich will be mounted under /ext_sd
Game data is allways stored under /sdcard. This tool can move it to external sd and you can still play the game normally. Very usefull on my xperia sola since its internal sd is only 4gb.

Let's make this clear, any app like this is pointless and completely useless for the Xperia Play

I think what the dude is looking for is apps to sd or something so he can put the. Apk on his storage so its not cluttering up the already small internal storage. Directory binder can bind any director to make it bigger you could use it for more ram more internal storage anything really.

Whenever I first launch up the application to install I get a message saying I need 2055mb to install and I have 0.
I have a total of around 1.7gb available on my internal storage, but then I also have 7gb available on my external_SD, anyway I can trick/point it to install the data into the external SD?

Maybe you need to delete the file that is in the android.secure!
Hi my tablet is experiencing storage issues although I don't have much apps installed... I have moved all the photos, videos, music on my external sd card, removed many games, cleared all the cache and now there is less than 500mb space available which is not allowing me to install new apps or update the existing ones also, my device lags a lot.
Pls suggest me a way to free space I don't know where all my space has vanished, I will also like to inform that I'm running on official 4.1.2 release and the device is not rooted!
Thanks

Yes i had installed app2sd but removed it immediately when I found its no use on my tab...I havent installed any virtual ram apps.
What's that circle?
If all your stuff is on the external SD already, try formatting the internal.

That circle is chat head of one of my fb friend. I have factory reset my tab and now its all fine, this is the second time I had to loose all my apps and data and its headache to download alk over when u dont have wifi.... what is the problem anyway why the memeory gets filled so much when I know there isnt much user data. One of my friend said its a jelly bean memory leak issue, is it possible?
