I have used the megatron ROM for nearly a year and when i tried to upgrade to one of the RaymanFX's CM10(v7), i had lot of issues.
the ROM worked as it was supposed to work but as soon as i keep the tablet in sleep mode and wake it up in few minutes, the system becomes unresponsive. i tried many different ways to install it but it didnt work. I even used superwipe lite but that also didnt seem to work.
I used superwipe full and nd now the rom wont boot up!!

Did you try flashing another kernel? I have RaymanFX's CM10 v6 installed and flashing KAT kernel #70 lidpatch seems to have solved my problems.

So I have a little bit of a strange issue.
I had flashed the AOKP Milestone 5 on my TF, and although I managed to fix the CWM bootloop, it doesn't appear I'm able to install any other ROM.
Since I've flashed it, any other ROM I attempt to flash either fails to complete it's first boot (watched a few different ones try for hours yesterday) or wifi will not turn on. The wifi issue is also present in my backup from stock.
Perhaps for the ROMs that are booting for me there is a different kernel I may have better luck with? Thoughts, anyone?

What recovery are you using? might pay to try another (Recommended: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1759452)
You may want to obtain a kernel compatible with the ROM you want to try and flash both the ROM and kernel at the same time. The wrong kernel could definitely cause both the booting problems and the wifi not turning on.
I think about a kernel problem too, go to your ROM thread and you'll see the best kernel to flash with it...
I keep running into problems after flashing any ICS custom ROM. (Maybe I should try going to an ICS Stock ROM first).
Most times it just loops on the loading screen.
- Phone is rooted of course.
- I usually have the Emancipation GB custom rom before flashing to this one or a Stock GB with root and red CWM.
- I follow instructions to a 'tee'
- When I do reboot, it loops at Samsung logo.
The last time I tried (Dark Knight ICS Rom), just recently, I flashed then rebooted into recovery (from advance-boot to recovery), and it didn't go to recovery mode, it just looped.
So currently I'm on Stock GB with root and red CWM.
What am I doing wrong?
What are some things I should consider?
Some of the GB custom roms are nice yes, but I rooted mainly so I could get ICS.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer/

Yeah pretty much.
Only happens for ICS ROMs. Well the ones I've tried.
Still new at this, so I'll keep trying and that link you posted is one of my most visited links.

To be honest I was running from using Entropy's build.
Fear of it being too technical (It's actually the first thread I saw when I was thinking of going to ICS). So I used it and my phone is up and running now on ICS.
Won't be able to play around with it as much until I get home from work but thanks for mentioning it again.
Now to go and read the thread all the way through (kidding) well see if the problems he had are still occurring.
Thanks again guys.
For me, using Entropy's build made it easy to go to any other ICS rom for the Infuse- it is great as is or as a "stepping-stone" to other ICS builds. Glad it worked for you.
Yea man it was nice. I don't even need the other custom roms, this has everything I wanted.
And since it has a theme chooser, I'm good for life on the look of it.
I might try and customize my own stuff in the future but for now, all is right with my Infuse. I was going to get the Note but I got a brand new phone right here.
Hey everyone,
After trying almost every single ICS ROM available for my O1 P500h, every ROM seems to have the same problem. Although they all run very good, the phone will just hang at random points, but mostly when installing apps. Then requires a hard reset battery pull, or will reset itself after about a minute. Does anybody know of a solution to this? It wouldn't really be that much of a problem if the phone didn't take so long to restart.
I've seen other users report this problem to ROM dev's as well however the problems seemed to be fixed for them by a newer update for the ROM, but even if I use the newest version I still get this problem.
It's not present on CM7, or Jelly Bean (4.1 or 4.2) ROM's as far as the ones that I've tried. I feel like I've tried every single ROM for this phone already. I wanted to move on from CM7 because of it's lack of new-ness compared to ICS and above, and on the other hand Jelly Bean ROM's don't have a lot of internal storage compared to ICS ones, which is a problem for me because I download lots of apps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've tried TWRP, CWM 5.0.2.7 and CWM 6.0.2.7. I've been flashing by formatting everything but sdcard (so boot, system, data, cache, etc.) and then installing zip from sdcard. I tried flashing HepHappy's ROM, IcySnap, XperiaICS and Protos9.

The stock kernels which come with the ROM's, which allow you to overclock the phone to 800-something MHz. I never use the overclock though and keeping it on 600MHz that comes out of the box still has the problem. With GB I'd overclock it to 729 for normal use, and on JB 748 for snappier performance with no bad things happening (well, besides battery life)

Do You Run Plenty Of apps at a time Because that cause Reboot..., The kernel candied(Ice) Give me problem like yours. if there is no solution switch to 4.1.2 AOKP it is stable.
First of all, thanks for all the hard work you guys do.
I have a problem with my tf101 running a Cyanomod. I tried searching on the forum, but there are so many keywords i don't even know how to input a proper query, so sorry if the problem has already been covered.
My tf101 was working just fine, i mounted a new rom (a nightly based on Jelly Bean 4.1.2), everything was nice and smooth, until one day i forgot to plug the charger to my tablet. The battery ran down to 0%, the first time it ever happened. Since then, everytime i try to power my tablet it gets stuck on the cyanogenmod rotating logo. I have to force reboot it several times before it starts working again, even if the battery id completely charged.
The first time it happened i tried wiping all data as well as the cache, i also tried reinstalling the rom but the only thing that seemed to work was reverting to a stable rom and then installing the nightly. Until the battery accident, everything was perfect.
Why is this happening? Is there a way to fix it?
You have said:

So does you tablet boot into Android or not?
Because you have TF101 not G or Slider, you can NVflash the tablet to stock and try everything from beginning (root, custom recovery...).
Link to NVflash method

Žiga

Yeah it does, but only after countless attempts. If i do nothing and let it go, it gets stuck on the cyanogen logo forever.
I will try your solution and let you know, thanks.
Which recovery are you using ?
TWRP is the one to use, CWM has issues
I've installed cyanogenmod 9.1 a couple of weeks back and it seems I have a wifi problem. At first it worked ok but lately it seems that the wifi freezes in "enabeling wifi" mode. It works fine if I reboot the phone but I'm tired of doing that evrey time I want to connect to my wifi. I've also tried something with "echo murata > /data/.cid.info...etc" that I found is used for fixing this for samsung galaxy s3, it worked at first use but then nothing.
A solution could be keeping the wifi always on but this drains the batery.
Hope someone can help me with this...Thanks in advance.

Hi, the reason for this is unknown.. but upgrading to Android 4.2.2 + seems to fix the issue. It was fixed in the kernel for those ROMs.. So only possible workaround is to upgrade to 4.3.1.. which is bugfree..
Edit .. : Now I recall that it was an issue with the wifi drivers in the kernel. If you can .. search for the wifi fix by Immortalyash .. He had done it in cm9.. as well as in minicm9. check it out.

this is a common bug in cm9 & minicm9 roms..4.3 roms don't have this issue. I'm using minicm9 with aries kernel oc & no wifi toggle issue yet..you should try aries kernel too maybe it'll solve your problem.

New problems...
So i've tried a bunch of different kernels starting with pandora r3...that didn't do anything, then i installed garuda v5 that fixed the wifi problem but made another one...that being it can't recognize the sd card anymore, i can see the second partition but sd card appears removed and when i take the card out i can still see the message sd card unexpectedly removed, so most of the apps are crashing, and also when i go to Settings->Storage i get "Settings has stopped". This also happens for Settings->Apps.
Now i've reflashed pandora but i think something from garuda remains because i still get the errors from it even with pandora installed. And i know this because every time i reboot, after the cm9 logo i get "Android is upgrading. Optimizing xx from xx apps". I've only seen this with garuda.
I wanted to try aries kernel now but cannot download it because i cannot see the card and i'm also at work so i'm not able to connect the phone to the pc and copy the kernel from recovery mode because of the restrictions on the computer....It's really messing my day...Should I do a clean install when I go home? What is the best cm version for this phone? I've also had 10.1 but this had problems with the alarm...like it only rang after i woke up and unlocked the phone...never at the hour selected...and also it drained the battery faster...Waiting for a good suggestion for this letter ...Thanks in advance!

For the sd card issue you can try multimount from the playstore
Also check the 4.3 roms as they are very stable and don't have any issues.
And before flashing any rom just do a factory reset, thats all...

You can try int2ext+.. it works fine.. just backup your apps using titanium backup or helium or similar and reflash the ROM with int2ext
Ok so finally I've managed to make everything work. First I tried to increase the memory using int2ext+ but it got stuck in cm logo loop, or I didn't wait enough I don't now, but then i reflashed using int4ext+ and it worked like a charm . So thanks everyone for the feedback and have a nice day...Cheers!

I don't know why you faced so much issues because for me there are no such problems..only cm9 wifi toggle issue was there before using aries kernel & ofcourse cm10.1 bluetooth toggle issue. I never faced robotic call or freezing problem on any rom.
