OK so I bought a cheap Xbox 360 off of Craigslist and the only problem is as soon as it gets to the splash screen it freezes. I had it got through the boot up completely once but hasn't done it since then. There isn't a RROD does anyone know a way to fix this?

I hear it common. Mine did it yesterday and mine is stock. All I did was reboot the phone and it was good again.

I cleaned the screen and it seems to be working like normal. Weird. Sometimes when i get something on the screen my phone will act like i'm touching the screen. This phone is super sensitive.

So its not working ?
Touch works
Charging works
USB works
Only keys doesn't seems to respond
Can it be due to revolver Rom or is it the keyboard problem?
I got it today and i was really happy and now its this little problem

You can try another rom but I personally concur with GoodIntentions' post.

I had a bad one first too. Apparently there is a rather high defect rate on some of the serial numbers. I sent it in for repair and they sent it back and it lasted less than a day before it died again. Then they just sent me a new one with a much higher serial number and it works great.
This is not a software problem. You have a defective product. Exchange immediately.
Where did your folks get it from? Go right back there and exchange for another one. Do not RMA. Waste of time. Just get something new.
Always get your products from trusted retailers! And what are the first 3 characters on the dock's serial number ?
Think it was B90 and it was from a trusted store
I will send it back as fast as i come home from Mexico

If the screen starts acting strange usually it's a Hardware issue. Best bet is to RUU back to stock to eliminate the possibility of it being the Rom. If the issue continues at that point, take it in and have them look at it. Always remember it's best to take your phone in Stock Unrooted . That way they cannot say it was something you did.
i've had 3 Shifts so far and i guess i'm lucky to have never had this happen to me! the only thing mine has ever done as far as the touchscreen goes is sometimes i'll get an error message saying "touch input has stopped functioning" or something like that. i have to restart and it's fine. i'd imagine these issues are covered by insurance.
Hello,
my Backbutton activates itself. While I am watching Videos, or whatever I do it stops shining and I am out of every application I'm using. After about half a minute it's shining again and I can use it normally. It's like pushing the button multiple times. Does anyone has an idea how to fix it? I tried different roms but it looks like an hardware failure to me.

Happened to me as well it is an issue sometimes with samsung but covered under warranty bring it in to sprint
Hit the thanks button if i helped
Sending it back for support is not an option for me. I imported my device from the US to Germany. The support at Samsung Germany told me that they are not responsible for AMOLED devices.
My second problem ist that my IMEI is crashed since I flashed a rom where the dev made a little mistake. So Samsung won't give me any support.
I thought about changing the display but the price for a new one is about 190 Euro. Way too much... I can assemble and disassemble the device but I think that cleaning the device will not solve the problem.
Any suggestions?

It has nothing to do with the display though.
That's likely the part failing:

Verify that the one you currently have isn't simply not connected right.
Thank you. I will have a look if the part is not right connected.
Maybe I have to replace it. But in that case 25 Euro are much cheaper than 190.

This happened to me once. A day later my display completely died. I could turn on my phone, answer calls, etc the touchscreen worked, but I couldnt see anything. I had to get a new one..
I had this problem too.
I flashed a different radio, and boom!! issue resolved
I occasionally get this too. It only comes up when I'm using cm/cm based kernels though, very odd. I'm on matrix right now and it seems to Beowulf, anybody have some tips or suggestions?

I tried a different kernel and it looks like the problem is solved. I know that you should not count your chickens before they are hatched. But I really think that the kernel was the problem.
Anyway, I am just happy that my phone is working properly.
And now I am waiting for jellybean.

What kernel were you using?
It was not the Kernel!
Changing the radio solved the problem.

It's Alive!
I don't see how the kernel would have anything to do with the backbutton. Although if it worked out then hey that's awesome. Amazing how much I have learned by reading the forums on this site.:victory:
Just clean off the the backbutton, and maybe it will stop or you have a software bug.
My hox is acting up. Lcd backlight will go off once in a while and for me to getting it to work again. I have to press the screen almost to the point of breaking it a few times to get it working again. Touch input is still working. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I have never had this issue and it truly sounds like a problem. I really suggest that you send it back for a new one because it sounds defective.
