UPDATE 27.12.2012 - FIRST ALPHA OF MY ROM!!!
Why?
Because of no one have released anything like Mods & Roms for our Alcatel One Touch 991 yet, i started this Thread with a simple Mod
I will upload some more Mods & later a Rom )
Requirements
1. Rooted Alcatel OT-991 [HOW TO]
2. CWM Recovery [HOW TO]
3. A Brain
Installation Guide
1. Boot into Recovery by Holding Power + Volume Up + Home-Button
2. Select 'Install zip from sdcard' and then 'Choose Zip from sdcard'
3. Select the downloaded Zip from the sdcard
3.1 If you have downloaded the zip directly with your Phone, the zip should be in the Downloads folder
4. Reboot & use it
5. Click the thanks button

I had formatted all mounts except Recovery.img and your file doesn´t work on my german 991D Installation complete, but now hangs for 30 min. in the android-screen :crying:

The format was done last week before testing other backups and because of some members here said that i should do it, so your comment is unnecessary/stupid. Can anyone post the ROM/complete backup and not only a partially Mod?

I would also like to know if you know how to make swapper work, I mean how to fix kernel so it supports swap?

Install
Use CWM5 or CWM6.
For flashing with Odin: recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.tar.md5 | recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.2-ariesve.tar.md5 (Needs AriesVE.ops)
For using dd command to flash: recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-ariesve.zip | recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.2-ariesve.zip
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM9. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!
Wipe data and cache.
Flash update*.zip.
Reboot phone.
After first boot please go to Settings>Theme and enable LG Theme !

Looks beautiful, but there's one problem.
Every time the Kii keyboard keeps FC'ing. But the problem is you can't select an other keyboard.
So you also can't download from the play store.
So you first have to install an other keyboard from your sd card.
But anyway, this rom's fantastic!

1. LG Optimus 4x Lock screen
2. Lg ui theme set as default system framework and systemui

And next time please, as said by outer heaven, if you're gonna post a test build please post it in the q&a sticky thread and outer would add it to the TR (Test Release).this ROM is counted a test build cause you haven't even tested it yet.

1.i dont include the lockscreen because it sounds very laggy in the thread if anybody has test it and can report that it works i will include it in next version.

You are doing your best already and this is more than enough. Continue and with experience you will be better and you will have very good ROM.
Can't download , please add mediafire , zippyshare or dropbox link please :crying:
You can use Kingonkwongs Lockscreen mod, just copy the settings.apk, ariesveparts.apk and framework-res.apk for the lg lockscreen. Set permissions correctly.
Then wipe cache and dalvik, and go to settings- advanced- lockscreen and choose LG.
That's all.
But don't forget to ask for permission for this mod!

Its your own opinion, somebody writing that his ROM is fastest will not change your opinion, would it?
Its by experience you know.
I have flashed this rom...and its booted after that i stayed in setup wizard itself.....i touched droid icon to enter in it...but still it doesnt enter in it....

open the build.prop and dlt the last three lines. Or wait fr the final zip to release...

How to install:
Make a backup of your current rom using nandroid (optional step)
Do a full wipe (not always needed, but always recommended)
Install ROM and reboot
Let the ROM settle down..
Open SuperSU, go to Settings and "Disable Superuser"
Wait until the uninstallation has ended and "Enable Superuser" again (this time it should have worked out!)
Only follow the next steps if you have installed the ROM with A2SD support: Open Terminal Emulator and enter "su"
Enter "a2sd install" and select "Y", "N", "Y"

Its good enough ,but drawer is lagging and when i make a call ,the person cant hear me ,and so do i ,i cant hear him as well ,otherwise very good ROM ,speed is good ,only the drawer is annoying me little bit but i can bare with that Thanks Bro !

I've never had a prob with calling. That's new to me. Are you sure that it is reproducible? If so please send me your logcat.
With ref. to laggy app drawer: how many app do you have installed? What's your sd card?

So after so me testing i would say nice Rom frist i was shocked how fast my s3 is ^^
Haven't used my Desire for a long time ^^
But i found a Probleme SU don't stick Wirth me. I habe reflash the ZIP everytime something needs Root if i dont it just keeps telling no premissions

fast enough, it disappeared the bar release but if I drag it opens, however, add sound and fix some applications you have to press very strong for them to open, however great job.

I will try to flash the ROM over again and see if the calling problem is still there. I didn't install any apps,only the apps that are coming with the ROM are in the drawer

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone may reboot once inbetween so dont worry.

i'm looking for something that gives numbers and symbols on long-press of various keys. best if it's kinda like this.

Red light sensor keep on blinking after receiving a call and putting brightness on auto mode...I need to restart again and again to put that light off...big issue is this or els it will harm my light sensor permanently dead

change the setting in light notification and try.
Nothing happens with that feature..it just put on keypad light when notification arrive..any other option bro

Another bug is device get easily unlocked via notification tray in device lock state....required no pulldown tray opion in lockstate....i think it can b done via kk gravity but i dny want that..if u hav sum other option plz provide it avi....
