my playstore is broken
Is this supposed to work on a rooted htc explorer? I still have the stock rom on it. Since i downloaded and installed play store has been force closing every 2 seconds. So i had to uninstall it. Nd now i feel empty without it. :crying: Reinstalling it doesnt work either.

HOLY HOLY HOLY S*** !!!! Thanks a million! After installing CM10 on my Sk17i, the Google Play would keep crashing. I tried flashing different gapps but none of them worked. Finally, this one has solved my problem and google play is working fine now! :good: :good: :good: :good: :laugh: :laugh: :victory::angel:

I've just installed this Google Play Store APK v3.10.10 and all works fine. Don't uninstall old version. Just install this version.

do you use custom or stock ddkt2?
playstore is the system app required for playstore ^_^
it maybe because your system cache is overloaded or some other app made unnecessary changes in your sytem, there could be other reasons too..

First time I cud browse...
When I tried downloading an app...
It force closed...
Thereafter I force closed all the time...

i found a solution i just downloaded the orginal app Vending.apk and deleted the latest one and moved it to system/app folder and fixed its permissions like this

Give it a try...I believe the .odex file will be auto generated...

Modded version signed...Okay no guarantee.. delete data/app/ phone sky.APK or vending.apk then reboot before you install.. actually I suggest you backup first.before going crazy.

go to Apps, find Play Store [or market ] and clear cache, then try again, it should work it will ask you to log in again...
After installing FXP222 ( or newer ) my Google play store is not working as it should!
I can download app from phone, but when I am trying to install and download from PC play store noting happens.
It says" the app will be downloaded to you device shortly " and nothing happens after that.
Before when I enter playstore from my phone and the apps starts to download ... but now the ony way to install is using my phone.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Your phone need to connect Wi-Fi first,then you need to enter Play Store and the app will install,or restart your phone...mine sometime also same...

Uninstall the Play Store to the default,then try to download.
Unfortunately this also does not work ...

flash stock ROM adn try again...
or use others Google Account.
same problem happened to me some times when i started to a new ROM
but every time it was ok after short time spontaneously
Google now doesnt seem to function properly.
For example, if I ask for the time it just crashes | if I ask for Sachin Tendulkars height, again it crashes
Is anybody else having this problem. I searched a lot for a fix for this bug, returned with no luck

Later i tried replacing the apk with m7 velvet

could it be because your location? it doesn't support all locations...
