I know you can decompile systemUI and change the order, add, subtract toggles from the notification pull down. Does anyone know if you can add things like wifi direct? It'd be kinda of nice instead of shuffling through settings. Or even add in a flashlight toggle?
Wifi direct
It will be nice to have Wifi direct toggle. In TW JellyBean you can always long press the Wifi icon in the notification bar and it will get you inside the Wifi menu and then you can choose Wifi direct from there.
I wanna bump this. I had kinda forgotten about this, but being snowed in the last couple days, I've been playing around and would still like to know if we could add new options in the stock notifications toggles.

Hi Developers,
Just needed to ask, I am using Sony Xperia C, was wondering if there is a way to hide the WiFi connection status icon in the notification bar on the top of the screen.
Is there any way that i can hide the fact that my phone is/is not connected to WIFI?
Please advise how as well.
Thanks Already!!

You can do it manually by replacing the wifi icon in systemui.apk with a transparent one. Or you can use Gravity Box Xposed Module Expanded Desktop function to hide the whole status bar.

It's meant that you receive no notification sound / vibration Press the volume key and choose "all" for example

Yes. Its absolutely worth a new thread.
Need status bar to show which WiFi signal is being used. How to do? My old Note3 always had the WiFi signal name up there.
I have installed Material Status Bar but it seems useless.
And yes I know that if I long press on the Wi-Fi icon I will get a list of WiFi signalsand it will tell me what I'm connected to. That takes too long. I want to see it ON the status bar.

the name of wifi is under wifi icon when poll-down the status bar.
and that thing on note3 is for old software and u cannot do it with an app or system setting.
there should be a mod to modify systemUI and u need root access for that
anyway, you can test network apps like Fing or similar apps.
some of these apps create additional information inside a notification for users.
:good:
The name of the Wi-Fi signal does NOT show under the status bar icon. The screenshot fails to show the status bar so you'll have to just believe me. I would I would not have posted if that had been the case.
Okay now I see it problem solved. Have to pull down twice on the status bar
