[Q] boot looped my tf300 cm 10 - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Right. So, I screwed up. I was running cm 10 sept 25th nightly for the longest time. without taking the time to research, I attempted via cwm to flash the jellybeen cm rom 10.0.0.... Seems the bootloader got upgraded after my last update,& all cm's needed jb bootloader.
now bootloop.
System hangs on asus screen.
I can boot into cwm, and can flash roms wipe cache, etc etc, but restoring my backup done right before the update (and the next oldest backup) still results in a boot loop.
Linux box, I have fastboot access to the device.
help?
I can't get into the system to figure out which asus firmware I'd need to install, (ww tw dw, or something like that)
Damnit. damnit, damnit.

Softbrick..Need some help

I'll start from the beginning.
I got my loverly TF300T.
I've had my phone running cyanogenmod, so I figured I would throw that on my TF300 since it was so smooth.
My tablet came with 10.4.2.9, JB 4.1.1. I made sure to document this.
So I download the unlock APK and install it and unlock the bootloader.
Next I go into fastboot mode and flash TWRP.
I boot into recovery root the device, and boot back up to entire root is working - it was.
I then download my CM 10, drop it on the root of my internal storage.
Boot back to recovery, flash CM 10, reboot.
Get stuck at Asus/Nvidia boot screen.
Great. So I look do a bit of research and discover the Jellybean bootloader doesn't work with CM10, or something to that effect. Damn.
I'll try the CM10.1 Nightlies, They run JB, shouldn't be a problem. I throw it on my SD card, move the SD card, boot into recovery, flash it, boot it. Hooray, everything is working...except the wifi won't turn on. Well, we can't have that.
So I decide to flash back to stock. Not a big deal.
I download it 10.4.2.20 from the Asus site, extract the ZIP, throw it on the SDcard, boot into recovery, flash it.
Now I am sitting on an infinite load screen with the circular loading pattern.
So then I find 10.4.2.9 (what I started with) and flash that. Same infinite load screen.
Between every flash I wiped caches/system.
I am at a bit of a loss.
I can still access fastboot & recovery, but I can't seem to get the stock rom to boot anymore.
I can load 10.1 nightlies on it, and it works, but the wifi chip refuses to turn on.
If you have any ideas or a rom I can try or maybe I am missing something.
I am pretty new to this, so I don't know everything.
It's working!
Just an update, I got it working again!
I pulled off my titaniumbackup file, and decided to do a full delete/format of everything.
When I looked at the logs, I realized that /data was not properly mounting, leaving me to think that was part of the bad installs.
After a full cache/system wipe + a reformat of internal storage, I pushed the 10.2.4.9 blob via ADB (boy was that the longest 5 minutes of my life) and luckily it booted back up with everything working.
I then flashed my update.zip and superuser.zip, and let the titaniumbackup do it's thing, and my tablet is back.
While I didn't get a response here, I did find the commands and know-how here.
So I just wanted to say....This forum is awesome and thank you to all those who deal with this troubleshooting!

[Q] soft brick when I flash ANY rom/firmware

When I flash merely anything, my tablet gets stuck on the Samsung boot logo (I have waited, and waited, and waited, until the battery dies). Sometimes even installing ClockWorkMod Recovery (official) will do this. But I managed to get the latest official CWM flashed. But I can't get ANY other rom to work. Even roms I have successfully flashed before.
Note: If it flashes it gets stuck at the Samsung boot logo. But I have also had it not flash sometimes too, giving me error code 7 in CWM which is an authentication/permission/certificate problem.
I am going to try right now using Odin to flash to stock, and work from there, maybe it will completely clean out any crap in the memory.
My tablet is the P3113 model.
Ok! So after flashing stock rom, then cleaning all the cache stuff, then attempting to install CM it fails with CWM Error code 7. And when I just reboot system, it gets stuck at the boot logo. Damn, I get stuck there without even flashing!!
Well, I may have figured it out..... ummm i guess *cough! cough!* I somehow changed kernels *cough! cough!* dang, my allergies! Hahaha, anyways, I flashed a kernel compatible with stock rom and cm10.1 and it has gotten past the flash of cm10.1 and seems to be booting up right now.

Stuck on Asus boot screen after custom rom flash

I've flash a couple of custom roms onto my TF300T in the past, recently i tried Omni 4.4.2 but now the pad won't boot past the Asus splash screen. The screen dims / brightens / goes black periodically but never gets past this screen.
I can get back into TWRP 2.7.0.1, I attempt to restore a backup of a previously working state, I've tried to flash different roms, I always factory reset / wipe Dalvik Cache & Cache under advanced.
I can connect with adb too so I'm hopeful there's something that can be done.
I keep reading I need bootloader 4.2, this is what I currently have:
Android cardhU-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "WW_epad-10.4.2.9-20120809" A03
But where do you get updated bootloaders? I can't find them anywhere.
Dude, latest version is 10.6.1.27.5! So I guess you have to flash the latest ASUS ROM first and start all over again...
--> http://www.service.asus.com/#!downloads/c1wax
-search for "TF300T"
-select your model
-select Android as OS
-choose your ROM version (WW or US, depending on where you are living)
Thanks, with fastboot I flash the 4.2 WW Asus rom / blob. Then fastboot flashed recovery of the correct TWRP for 4.2 bootloader. Now I'm off to flash a kitkat rom

this is my 1st post. Same problem. Here is my situation.
tf300t unlocked and rooted( it was) I suspect I have lost root.
I was running CM nightlies about 2 times a month. It was very stable. then out of no where it started a boot loop. It would boot untill the profile page would be visible for 6-7 seconds and then reboot.
1st thing I did was install an earlier update but nothing changed.
2nd I wiped delvik, system and cache.
3rd fastbooted US_epad-user-10.6.1.27.1.zip (just the blob) stuck at Boot loop
that removed recovery, so I fastbooted twrp 2.5.0.0
then did a install of the above zip file. that too removed recovery. and stuck at boot loop. (asus)
I have tried so many thing my head is spinning.
please Help

[Q] Stuck at boot.

Had my tf700 running CleanRom 4.2.1, and decidet to install a 4.4 just for the fun of it.
Upgraded my recovery, wiped /data storage, installed rom. After this my tablet pretty much stopped booting. 90% of the time it's stuck at boot screen (sometimes with animation running, sometimes not). Although once it did booted to a 4.4 Crombi-kk rom, but every 2-3 minutes it was rebooting.
What I have:
Access to bootloader, working CWM 6.0.4.7 for TF700T, ADB and fastboot access.
What I tried:
Installing TWRP and changing back to CWM, waiting for rom to "compile" everything (i guess around 2 days of doing that gotta be enough), Installing different roms (CleanRom, Crombi-kk, Zombi-x, Cyanogenmod 11 Nightly, Rooted stock rom).
Any suggestions on what can I do to recover my tablet?
And your bootloader version is... (insert drum roll here):
??????

Wiped system on droid maxx and can't fix it.

I accidentally (don't ask) wiped my system while trying to install cyanogenmod. After doing that CM seemed to finally successfully install but it was stuck at a bootloop. I went back into recovery to restore my backup but it resulted in an error the first time. I tried it again and it said it was successful. I tried booting that up but the boot logo looked different than before and it wouldn't boot. It wasn't a bootloop but it was stuck on the boot logo. After trying a few more different things nothing worked and I decided to flash the stock firmware back. When I tried RSDlite failed the flashing process. Maybe I don't have the right firmware for my phone or something. I can't figure it out. I'd really appreciate anyone input on this. I need to get my phone up and going again as soon as possible. It's a Droid Maxx. It's not the Dev Edition but it does have an unlocked bootloader.
Thanks
EDIT:
I tried flashing that firmware again and for some reason it worked the second time. This thread can be deleted.
If you find it wont boot past the CM bootanimation, go back to recovery and Factory Reset - that normally will get it to complete the boot process. Make a backup first so you can easily restore back if you choose. Beats RSD back to stock and starting over...
I also run an unlocked Droid Maxx, non dev, currently on AICP ROM or CM, whatever flavor I feel like and who is updating their ROM the most often.
