u have to do a new Odin ROM install or do a recovery install again.
until the looping boot exists u'll never get in CWM or Download mode.

[Q] Can't get into recovery mode

I successfully rooted my 3G XOOM today, installed ClockworkMod Recovery, but can't get into recovery mode! No matter what I do, I get stuck at a screen showing "Entering Android Recovery Mode Reading ODM fuse:1".
I waited for several minutes, and nothing happened. I tried to format th SD card, but didn't work too.
If I manually reset the Xoom, it stars normally and everything works fine.
Did you wait 3 seconds at the Motorola screen and hit volume down and then volume up? Were you able to get in it before?
Yes, i did that, but it gets stuck at that same point. And no, I never tried to enter recovery mode before.
How did you flash recovery the first time. Did you flash or push? Have you tried to push the recovery?
The first time I flashed recovery using the button inside ClockworkMod, and CWM said it went fine.
How can i push recovery? Using adb?
Got it! I don't know what caused the problem, but flashing the newest version of CWM recovery using this guide solved it!
Now I can proceed updating my Xoom to HC 3.1.
what worked for me was volume-down volume-up while holding down the power buttom ( like a shift key )

[Q] TOUCH CLOCKWORK - how to recovery mode

Hi,
I've installed SKY ICS .. THE REAL THING 4.0 following these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1589977
Using Odin, I've installed the Clockworkmod Touch 5.8.1.3 using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566613
Now, I'd like to go on recoveery mode.... how is it possible ? Previously when holding the start button, there was an 'reboot using recovery mode' option was there but it is no longer there.
Anybody know how to reboot in recovery mode so I could continue and install the updates ?
Thanks,
Punky.
you just need to restart your phone while holding the vol up and down rockers...this will bring you into recovery (i.e CWM)
if u want download mode (aka odin mode), simply restarting and holding down volume and power will do that as well
Thanks.
I've rebooted hodding volume buttons and it worked......
After that, when I hold the on/off button to reboot, the Recovery option is now available.
Punky.

[Q] only LG logo not booting till even CWM Recovery in P500

Hi,
My p500 phone is just showing LG logo on power up and gets blank after few seconds. I tried all combination volume, power, home keys.
It's not even getting detected by PC. Actually its not reaching to boot loader and stuck before that.
To achieve this situation what I did :
1. I wanted to flash new 4.4.2 ver 12 with this thread.
2. I wiped all data, cache , etc.
3. I tried to update CWM Recovery v6.0.4.8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564767 from v6.0.4.6.
4. During the installation I pulled out battery by mistake.
5. I rebooted the phone and it got stuck to blank screen after on LG logo screen.
Please suggest something.
I know phone doesn't have any data, rom and CWM recovery (corrupted) and not even boot leader.
Also adb is not able to detect as it's not booting till PC can detect a device.
I am sure it's not hard bricked
Please help , how can at least boot so that adb can detect.
Thanks,
Devesh
Solved
That's how it worked :
1. I pressed a magical combination (dont remember ) :
a. Up volume + back key + power key while inserting battery
or
b. Up down+ back key + power key while inserting battery
which game emergency mode. And that was enough for me.
2.Then, I used standard method to flash recovery and image see here
3. I flashed finally cwm v6.0.4.8 with kitkat 4.4.2.
and it worked

Can't Boot to Download Mode Or Recovery

I've formatted the tab using latest twrp recovery after that I did a restart using recovery and it was taking long to boot back to recovery and force restarted it by holding power button.
Now I can't boot to reocovery or download mode by holding volume down + power button & up + power, it does boot into the usual Galaxy tab logo and then nothing.
If i hold the power button to long it's just boot back again to the tab logo.
When I put the charger to the device it just stuck on the battery logo.
I've also removed the back part and removed battery and tried again, But still same...
Also tried to flash the odin when it's stuck on galaxy logo, odin does recognize the connection but can't flash anything!
Is there any other way to boot back to download mode????
EDIT :
I did removed the back part of the tab to remove battery and try inserting, but still I was not able to boot to download or either recovery mode by hold power + volume buttons.
I think maybe the power button or the volume button has some issue that's why it was not able to boot into recovery/download mode.
After that I've drained the device battery and reconnected it to device charger and it automatically booted into download mode.
And flashed the stock rom then switched to a custom rom!
Problem solved for now, I'll update the thread later!

J510F Stock recovery screen after TWRP install [Fixed]

I'm using ODIN to install TWRP but after the install I'm still being put into the stock recovery screen, I have Auto Restart disabled under ODIN and I access recovery mode with power + vol up + home buttons and letting the power button go as soon as I see the logo but still holding onto the vol up + home button. This is done immediately after the ODIN install. I have tried multiple times leaving the Downloading Mode using power + vol down and entering recovery mode as well as removing my battery after the TWRP install and booting directly into recovery mode but all of them give me the stock recovery.
Re-flash Stock ROM to get rid off of all mods you applied. Then try again.
I haven't installed anything other than TWRP and if I do a normal boot the phone acts as if nothing ever happened, but I will try with a stock ROM install as well and check if it changes anything
I managed to root it for anyone with the same issue, the tutorial I was following seemed to have a faulty TWRP, the links on the official site work, the magisk method didn't work for me so I used the supersu method which worked perfectly.
