I have Asiaops official 4.0.4 ICS OTA Version. I rooted it. It worked fine. Then I made a reset to factory settings, and now the phone boots up to the unlock sceen but nothing happens when I try to unlock it. The clock runs. Only Emergency dialer works. Please help. Pulling battery doesn't solved the problem. What should I do?
First try another factory reset... if that does not work you might have to try the ICS fkz
When u try to unlock it. Does it goes to a blank screen? Or it stays in the lock screen?
It happened to me that when i was rooted, i removed the stock launcher and after the factory reset. I didn't have a launcher, so i had to flash a rom back.

Had a problem where the device froze and wouldn't respond so eventually had to remove battery. After that it wouldn't boot and just stuck at the white HTC screen. I've tried a factory reset but it just freezes and doesn't respond.
Is there any way of recovering from this or is it bricked?
Did you try factory reset from the bootloader menu? (VOLDOWN+POWER)
Yeah it just freezes when I select it from the menu.
That's very strange, but I don't believe it is bricked. At this point I'd try flashing an RUU (HERE).
You have to select the right one for your area/carrier...

So today my droid started messing up, home and recents button didnt work. Google play store and whatnot couldnt access data, the signal status bar at the top was just grey.
So i factory reset it. During the reset it just sat there on the little screen with the spinning hexball thing for like an hour so i shut the phone off. Now every time the phone boots it just tries to wipe it again unless i go into the boot menu and hit normal boot.
Running stock rom and whatnot, but im rooted.
I know that theres a flag somewhere that it reads on boot saying to wipe it, but dang if i know what to change.

Well i unrooted my phone and tried to let it redo the factory reset again, and it still just wont do anything.

When this happens to me, it's because of a bad flash and a factory reset won't fix it. I would suggest reflashing stock...

I dont have a custom recovery or an unlocked bootloader.
I managed to get the problem sorted out through some unrooting and some non stock system file deletion. Installed safestrap and got blurry hd running on it now.

Suddenly yesterday I install Depshining 8.1 on my HTC HD7 after installation ROM I try to Soft Reset for some reason. finally I decide to change with new ROM, when try to go BootLoader (Power+VolomeDown) instead show me Hard Reset then try to hard reset but screen and all button frozen!!!
Why can't show me bootloader screen?

My note will work fine after a fresh turn on or a reset but after I lock the device, the screen wont turn back on again until you do a reset in which case the same problem will persist if I lock it. It is a stock rom (just updated) never rooted. I just dont get why this is happening. I tried doing a factory reset but it doesnt solve the problem. Please help.

I locked my bootloader so i can unlock it again and try rooting my phone again after it failed the first time. Now i my phone is completely useless because for some reason, my keyboard does not function and i'm stuck with the google voice app which is worthless. I really need a way out of this.
I've tried factory resetting my phone several times, but nothing ever changes. And now that i've unfortunately locked the bootloader, flashing a rom is impossible.
download Stock Firmware for your phone then extract UPDATE.APP and put it in "dload" folder on SD Card then do the 3 button trick. This will get you back to stock firmware.
Please, I need some help. Same problem here
