Anyone who wants to join me and fallow my steps you're welcome. Apparently this thread is for me but actually it's for everyone who wants to become a dev. Who knows??? maybe one day we'll form a group creating best ROMs ever
hey guys I have an lg p500 and I want to learn building roms and creating apps. Unfortunately it seems like I'm starting from zero level: I dont even know any pragraming language I just have the knowledge of a simple root user (fashing roms...). And it looks so confusing how much threads I find on internet about roms and apps. So I'd like that devs help me according to their experience.
Thx in advance

Unzip the zip file, and if the system folder is under 200 mb, the rom will fit
I thought about that but Ihad some doubts (some files are unpacked after flash...)
Thx anyway
You can tell me what ROM yo want me to start with (it must be for a device with same CPU and same screen resolution)
You can also help by telling me what are devices with armv6 and HVGA screen.

1- How to use them???????
2-Didn't understand that
In Notepad++, open \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script from both your base and port ROMs. Edit the Port’s script to be like the Base’s updater-script: specifically, change, edit, or add the sections for permissions, ui_prints, asserts, run_programs, and installing the kernel. Don’t change any of the symlinks. In the Port script, make sure that the ‘format’ values are appropriate for your device (compare them to the Base script).
(the step right before kernel)
Whenever I try to boot my phone the last days it just keeps getting stuck on Android screen endlessly without booting. After some search I found a thread to try and fix it with KDZ but nothing at all... (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275523) Although I'm not exactly sure how to disable the modes... I launched it and it showed to go well and finished. Then I tried to boot my phone but it just keeps getting stuck on Android screen. It cannot fastboot or boot in general. Any help? Even an existing thread if it exists.
