[Q] Match notification/ringer and media volume with headphones in

I've no idea where this belongs so I thought I'd go as general as possible.
Is there a way to match my notification/ringer volume with my media volume whenever headphones are plugged in?
I'm constantly deafened when I'm listening to music on low volume and a notification goes off full bore because I've forgot to turn them down. If I remember to turn notifications/ringer down then I tend to forget to turn it back up and l end up with missed calls because I plug the phone into computer speakers to play music and can't hear it ring.
I know the easiest solution to this problem is a good memory but does anyone know of a more reliable option?
Phone details if anyone cares
If it matters I'm using a Telstra HTC one XL (same as the one X on ATT) fully stock, unrooted on 4.0.3. I figured it was more of a general android thing which is why I posted it here. I'd definitely root for a fix but I'd rather not flash a ROM until CM10 or AOKP are almost 100%
Thanks guys!

[Q] Won't switch to JB - Volume issues

Has anyone found any work around to the low speaker volume on JB builds?
I rely on my phone as my alarm clock to wake up for work, etc, and the volume will not wake me on JB builds. I don't believe music is an issue but system sounds (ringers, alarm, etc) are all a major problem.
I believe google has this issue documented but I'm wondering if anyone has any luck with a brute force fix?
i got no audio period lol. which kinda sux on para android :/

[Q] question on how to remove volume alert with headphones

I have look all over the place to find anything on this and I cant find anything so I am going to ask is there a way to remove this notification, I thought it would go away with this new jelly bean update but it actually made it worse by triggering it on a lower volume which is highly annoying the notification is when you turn up your volume high and it basicly says its to loud and will damage hearing when its rly not.. this bothers me because I like to listen to my music loud is there any way to disable this , maybe in SQLite editor? and of course I am rooted running on the new Verizon jelly bean ota

[Q] How to reenable sound warning when using headphones

Last time I heard music over AUX and disabled the loud volume warning.
Now I want it back because I want to adjust my headphones blindly to max healthy volume. On Kitkat I just had to wait some time and it was back. Now this doesn't work anymore. Any tips?
I even want to get the old notification back, as far as I remember I only had to push vol+ one more time after the popup and it went higher.
I'm using stock rooted 5.0.0 Lollipop

[Q] Is there a "Long press volume to skip tracks" mod?

I'm on the stock g920T---OCG rom, rooted, and looking for a way to control the music in my pocket.
Anyone care to teach me how to make this mod?
Maybe it already exists somewhere? :highfive:
Such an awesome mod that really does need to be added as an option in stock ROMs more often. Be much better than accidentally blasting mega volume into your ears because you've already accepted responsibility for bypassing safe volume once today :3
In other words, BUMP!
I haven't seen it yet. Maybe that'll be my next mission.
I agree. This should be an option on stock roms. I'm surprised that it isn't by now.
Also, whenever I get a notification while listening to music it'll fade out then play notification sound then music again.
That is a nice feature for calls but not notifications. Is there any way to change it?
For now I just turn off wifi/data.

Do you use the stock music player? I use Power Amp and don't get that. Unless it's because I have notifications set to mute?
