please help this time for Gods sake. - HTC ChaCha

I`m on stock rom 1.57.415.4 rooted and s-off.
after s-off, I cant switch between arabid and english layouts with Lng key.
for me it`s very important to be able to type arabic for my job.
the lng key makes space instead of changing keyboard language.
I attach my keychars and keylayout to be checked in case.

hard reset????????? I EVEN HAVE FLASHED DIFFRENT ROMS
BUT THE PROBLEM STILL LINGERS

I believe your attitude is the reason you get so few replies. In both the title and your posts, you're just being plain rude. No one's getting paid for this, you know?

read all this and u will figure out
Go through the guides on the index thread in the desire s development section.
Also read the tips on how to avoid bricking.
If done correctly, totally safe. Depends on your experience n patience too I guess. U haven't mentioned what version hboot etc you have which is the starting point.
Re your recovery thread, Google it or search xda, there's also a glossary...

Thx so much my hboot is 0.98.0002
Does revolutionary requires administrator to run? Cuz I don't hv the admin rights x( is there any method that I can bypass that? Sorry if this sound stupid
You will be fine with revolutionary,it's. What I used to do mine straight from virgin. it will S-off then drop the file you download from the site on the SD card and flash it to get root

I used this to root a few weeks ago. Worked perfectly.
Hi,
I am just looking to fix my app associations by doing this http://www.androidcentral.com/how-restore-functionality-apple-v-htc-war-has-taken-away-root, will rooting via the one click method allow me to do this?
thanks
the oneclick method will root your phone, and that will allow you to modify those files
Thank you for the reply.
Need a One click root for 1.78.401 eu OTA.....

I don't think the oneclick script listed above is base specific. It should work on any base, TMOUS or EU
Does not work anymore htc has fix exploit same as 1.85 update for One x

Downgrade needed. How-to?

Hi, I made that account especially to ask that question. The problem is that I wanted to unlock my phone via HTC Dev's unlocking soft but unfortunately i have higher RUU than the needed one I dunno how the hell could it happen but if you have any ideas how I can return to the stock RUU I would really aprecciate it. Thanks in advance.
Sent from my HTC ChaCha A810e using xda app-developers app
Skip the step about RUU Update and continue unlocking via HTC Dev. No need to downgrade.
Thanks I'll try that later !

you dont need s-off but it makes flashing roms/kernels alot easer
Oh lol well still ima see if I can find a diff device on T-Mobile that doesn't require s-off or supercid thanks man
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda app-developers app
Doesn't require S-Off at all. S-Off will only save you about thirty seconds when flashing ROMs, because you have to skip one small step.

That's right, but consider that every single time you need a computer at your side.
If you have you save only seconds, if not you have to wait....
Go with a s3
