I like the rearth case better. The back isn't visible but I'd like to think it's better protected in there (top exposed area non withstanding).

would depend if it's back ordered or if it's in stock. Tons of other places have them in stock though.
It looks like Amazon still had them in stock. I ordered yesterday after reading about the customs issue. The phone is in transit today for delivery tomorrow.

I went to Best Buy and had them price match Walmart at $149 on the white HOX. Although you can't beat amazon's tax free, depending on your state of course.
I ordered a pair of grey at&t 1Xs 3 days ago and they arrived yesterday.

It was in stock a couple days after the Nexus 4's came back in stock on the Canadian Play Store. I managed to order one on Feb. 1st and it's arriving tomorrow. Keep trying though. They seem to come in stock and go out randomly.
edit* I placed my order directly through the Play Store. The one you have listed is a few bucks cheaper but I think it will even out after they add taxes.
I placed an order on the grey version last Friday but no ETA yet. The gold version is in stock though.
On Amazon I placed order for gray phone it was placed on back order. I canceled that order on Sunday. Placed new order Monday and it went straight thru. Phone will be here today Wednesday.

Based on this post, i have ordered a second grey unit. My original order was placed 10/20. Once i receive a shipping notification, i will cancel the other order. Ill post back when i hear something. :fingers-crossed:

Still no shipping notification on either order :banghead:
The Gold has gone out of stock and then back in stock while the Grey has remained out of stock the entire time. I called Blu's sales office (who lied on release day about it being Amazon's fault) and again they said that it was Amazons fault and i needed to contact them to see when the phone would be available. These freakin people, how do you run a company like this?

The screen on the Pure XL is outstanding for reading. Yes, it's better than the N6. I just need root!
I will install an AT&T Sim in the XL on Saturday and see if I can live workout root as a DD.

No one is saying the gold is not in stock and available now. Some of us are skeptical about your claim to have purchased and received the *grey* Pure XL from Amazon without waiting. The grey has never been in stock according to Amazon's web site are there are people who have pre-ordered and have been waiting for it from the first day the page was up (Oct 19) without any word of availability from Amazon. It seems improbable to us that you simply ordered it last week and received it in a couple of days as you claim. So we'd like you to post a photo of your grey Pure XL.
Anyone kind of wondering whether or not the Grey edition actually exists? Its now over a month since the 'launch' date, the gold unit has been in and out of stock several times on Amazon with no sign of the Grey aside from the "Temporarily out of stock" label that hasnt changed once. The way that they keep blaming Amazon when its clearly NOT THEIR FAULT really makes me wonder what a company like this is capable of. If the Grey unit never shows, and it was only the Gold all along, I guess i just wouldnt be surprised one bit at this point.
Edit: Come to think of it, I dont believe that ive seen any video reviews of this phone that werent the Gold version.

Man, that's how I felt with the gold and pre order, not pre-order dilemma. My decision to wait a day to do my pre-order cost like one extra day which at that point had already been way past the whole 9/29 original date was my feeling. Phone is worth it. You'll love it. Now, I wonder if the black will ever surface. Fortunately I wanted the gold to begin with!

My store had just the phone only AFAIK.
They didn't even have a floor display set up yet and refused to let me open a box to check it out before buying.
Now that stock has been in for a few days, some stores will probably setup a demo model. Not sure I'd hold out hope for accessories just yet other than screen protector and generic case (if you're lucky)?
I'm coming from a long line of Galaxy phones including Note 3 and Note 4.
I'm totally loving the Moto X Pure so far, aside from the volume button placement which my fingers are having a hard time with.
So excited for this phone. I placed my order at 5:45 AM Wednesday morning for a black moon. I plan on getting ocean depths when it's available though and then I'll sell my black moon

Ordered mine through Sprint.
Ordered from their website. I don't have any issues logging into my account to see the order, though when you try tracking the order it just refreshes the order page. Didn't expect to see any movement but I was hoping to see "Processing" so I can have the satisfaction of seeing that changed to "Shipped" lol

Ordered through the essential pre order. Got the email, placed order, then realized I forgot to put my apartment #. Emailed them, they replied in a couple of hours and fixed it. Updated address showed that night in the order details. Happy to know this company is responsive.

@IM0001 I'm in the same stage of the waiting game as you. Hopefully, @BeansTown106 will bring Pure Nexus to the PH-1. If so that would be fantastic. I would imagine he is currently gearing up for the release of Android O soon and will have to transition his GitHub to support the Nexus and Pixel devices first and then maybe he will take a look at PH-1.
But just a guess on my part. Appears only time will tell which developers will support the PH-1.

I did the same, it made the account but won't let me login using Google. Easiest fix is to just request a password reset using your gmail address and make a new pass to login that way.

SAME exact thing here.
Pre-ordered mine today. I get mine shipped 8/28 with two day shipping (sprint employee) for the consumers it's 8/31 and then they should be receiving their devices two days after.
Sprint will be supplying the cameras and they can be put onto installment billing. So, get them while you can.
Also, Sprint will have white and black for those interested. If you pre-order you get 50% off.
