Ok, I just received my TF700. I moved my 64 GB micro sd card from my xoom to the infinity. I can see and use the sd card normally as far as I can tell. But they notification that an sd card is installed remains. Is there someway to turn that notification off?
only way, is to turn off the notification area entirely. to do that, settings>asus customized settings>uncheck use asus quick setting, then tap the notification are and turn off notifications.

Could someone make or tell me how to make a quick USB Storage option like either in the notifications bar or in the widgets on the notification bar
or possibly a way to set it to defaultly come on when plugged in
i move files on and off my phone all day and itdrives me crazy draging down click clicking clicking
When you plug into your USB you should get a USB notification in your drop down bar. Click that on to turn on/off. After you click on USB storage just go Start>computer and you should see it in your removable disks.
Dual mount sd widget on the market is great. Not only is it a small one by one widget and much faster, but when activated you can use the sdcard on your phone and pc at the same time.

+1 I use this whenever I mount usb storage.
Anyone got any ideas on setting up custom notifications I have a few short Mp3 (3 seconds long) that which have been transferred to the Micro SD Card, but there not appearing within the Notification List.
So anyone got any ideas on how to set custom notifications
Most of the default notification sound on the Sensation is not good. To make the phone unique, just set own music files as notification sound, to make your device really YOURS.
These are the steps:
1.Connect the phone and computer via a compatible USB cable
2.Choose Disk drive as the connection type
3.On the computer, open the removable disk
4.Create “notification” folder on the phone SD card
5.Copy and paste your favorite mp3 files from compute to “notification” folder
6.Press home screen > Menu > Notifications, select the ongoing Connect to PC status and tap Charge only
When you want to assign a mp3 file as notification sound, press the phone Menu > Settings > Sound > Notification sound. Select your desired one.
Notice:
You cannot use SD card during the process.

The app icons disappear from my lower right section, all except for the time, wifi, battery, and dock battery. I cannot open the window that usually pops up when I press that area.
It seems to work again after a reboot but this has happened a few times now. Any ideas? I'm on stock jellybean. I have a few edits in the build.propfrom the tweaks page.
Another user said that the notification panel popped up fine but the ASUS quick panel was completley gone. Both work for me just fine, but I could have sworn I could, from the popup, directly unmount my microSD before and now I cannot.
I'm going to factory reset it and see if it makes a difference.
I have a new Verizon i815 and am trying out the stock firmware since I would like to have GPS/auto-brightness/stability.
Is there a way to customize the notification bar without having a custom rom? Specifically, I wish to:
--Remove the "No SIM Card" notification, wireless network notification and brightness slider
--Remove some of the toggle switches
--Remove the "mini apps" shortcut
I'm hoping someone will come along and say, "Stupid noob, haven't you ever heard of $specialtool?"
I'll answer one of these: Using PimpMyRom, I was able to access my Tab's "hidden menu" and disable the cell radio entirely! It no longer complains about the SIM card... hopefully it will also save some battery.
