Is there a app that downloads pictures from within the Facebook app?
Like when you go on a image and click share. The app is in the share list and Downloads the image? I'm sure iV seen something like it before

I wanted to use stock Facebook and just have a downloader add-on, really not a fan of third party Facebook apps

I think most picture resizer apps will integrate via the share button and thus will let you save the image, even without resizing. That's what I used to do.
Yeh pixlr express works great, cheers bud

This is just a throw it out there kind of idea. I am currently on ICS but using an old hacked YouTube.apk that has a blue icon. I use it because it let's me listen to the video even with the screen powered off. What I was wondering was if it was possible to get the new hacked HD YouTube apk that a the latest YouTube version and let's you play 720p and make it so that it also continues to play with the screen locked? Further more if it is possible, could an apk be made that would continue to play in the background even after the home button was pressed so that the video played in the background while you were in the browser for example or in the texting app?
Also as a final thought, is it at all possible to bypass "the user hasn't made their video available on mobile message" and so the search would show all results as if on a PC?
All thoughts welcomed

I would like that
I'm using the hacked 2.4.4 Youtube app on my Epic 4G Touch, that allows me to watch videos in HD. If someone can make an app that plays HD on all devices, AND allows videos to play with the screen off, that'll be a WIN!
I also hope someone picks this up. Subscribed
You should call it modified YouTube Apk
Hacking sounds more evil
Correct me, my english is not the best but i try to learn.

Just replying to this thread to monitor it. Hope this gets released

The PVSTAR+ app that someone mentioned earlier in this thread is great as a Youtube app alternative that lets you play videos/audio in the background.....but a modded Youtube apk project regarding this would be excellent.
I appreciate all the support this is getting and I have contacted that dev and will post here when he replies
A few of the custom roms have the option to upload to various photo sites (such as Facebook and Flickr). I'm finding that very few have the option to upload built in to the camera app, to upload to Flickr or even Dropbox. Can someone develop something so that we can have the option via the camera app to schedule uploading to Flickr and Dropbox (especially Flickr)? Thank you very much!
Dropbox has this option by default, you take a photo and it uploads it

Yes but not from he camera app. Also, I'd rather uoad directly from camera to Flickr

Flickr would have to offer a camera app that does this, like the Facebook camera

I have a new HTC One X + and the service that the camera app uploads to directly IS Flickr. Interesting.

My statement still stands true, a camera app needed to be developed to upload to flikr. HTC probably worked with flikr to create that
Enjoy your new phone

I get instant uploads from Dropbox and Google+. I turned the latter one off.
Hi,
I have always hated the official app from facebook as it is slow and buggy at times.
Came to know about Atrium app created by a XDA member, installed it and have been using it for few hours now, must say it is a great app for FB users.
U can try the same from here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.radiantbits.atrium

I am using Atrium. What is your favorite? It's a lot less laggy than the official facebook.
I was looking for an alternative app to facebook last week, and now I am using Klyph. Great design, so far it works, no bugs so far.
I just started using it. What's a better twitter app?

The official app is too heavy.
Now i try Fast and Atrium

Tweedle is great
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
stock facebook app is fine
falcon or robird for twitter
What's wrong with the stock one? I use Tweedle for Twitter, love it.
Personally, I use the official apps for both FB and Twitter. They both do exactly what I need them to do
My vote is for Friendcaster, even though I haven't used the official app for years now.
I like the layout and features. Especially like the built in high resolution contact pictures sync so I don't have to use another third party app to replicate this.
Is there a blacked out Facebook like carbon for twitter?

Stock for both Facebook and Twitter. Stock Facebook could look better, but stock twitter is perfect for me.

I was kinda hoping for something more like a messenger app capable of doing it as my mum wants to be able to use it and she's about as computer literate as a blind fish

Hmmm. Good point. I've not seen anything else myself. Im sure there will be options on play. Hopefully someone can recommend
