hi, I like this rom, but I dislike the "carusell" thats introduce the home screen. Anyone have a solution how I can fox this. Is there any tweaks I can use?

It is a feature on Sense 3.0 and up.
Use the android development section to find your prefered rom.

Sensation xl port has option to switch this introducing carousel off....so may be you need Rc tweaks.

[Q] Which is the best ROM?

Hi guys,
Been running the HTC Desire & LG Optimus 3D for the last 12 months, done a bit of work on both and tried pretty much every ROM availiable for both phones. Just got hold of a Sensation that I'm looking to Root, S-Off, install CWM and then install the best stable ICS ROM.
Looking for one that gives full ICS experience with good battery life but is still fast and smooth.

Best stable ICS rom is stock ICS rom like this one HERE (thanks mike1986)
This is my very personal opinion of course.

insertcoin roms are the bestest roms in the forums

These are my favorites in descending order:
1. Insert Coin
2. ARHD
3. Elegancia

I tried all of them. Believe me the best rom (stable, fast, nice) rom is stock ics
rom. install 3.32.401.105 version, then leedroid tweaks + Beats audio + 1.5 ghz sebastian kernel. This is what rommakers does. this is best for me.

Tough I'm Sense 4 Lover....:good:
I want to Install Sense 4.0 On my Device and I want Stock Sense 4.0 look(Not Themed Sense 4.0 look)
Soooo....Please Suggest me..which ROM is the way Better..
OrDroid / PkMn Charmeleon ????? Which One ??
I want good Battery Life...good Performance...good Tweaks...more stable...more fast...and TOTALLY featured ROM...Less Bugs...Overall I want something that's called Revolution on my Sensation....
I'm Confused between OrDroid 9.0 & PkMn Charmeleon 5.1
What do you think, which ROM is the Best...?

Pkmn has a few more tweaks but I haven't really tried them both side by side so I can't tell you which is best... Use the mod to flash multiple roms to test them quicker

if you used LeeDroid tweak on Sense 3.6 and liked it then i suggest you to use PkMn rom because they are developed by the same developer
PkMn is fixing WiFi tether at the moment, so i suggest you to wait awhile longer =)

Using both ordroid is very good and same with pkMn I'd reckon PKMN for newbies because its just so easy and the drop bar with all the settings is useful as
Ordroid is slightly faster but I have both and flash them week by week at times LOL Dwld both

HtcBeatsNotify.apk question

I am currently running berserk mode v1.5 and was wondering if I could replace the sense 3.6 htcbeatsnotify.apk with the htcbeatsnotify.apk from sense 4.0? I want to do this because the HTC beats notify in sense 4.0 is much more nicer looking and noticeable. I would just nandroid and download a sense 4.0 rom and switch the apks but I'm leaving for work soon and dont have time, has anyone ever tried?

[Q] Upgrade HTC sense from 3.6 to 4.x

So I been wanting to upgrade the wife's phone to a different ROM but I noticed that most of the ROMs I want to use has Sense 4.x in them where hers is 3.6. Is it still possible to use those ROMs? Would it upgrade HTC Sense, or will it just fubar the phone?

Check out Elegancia Rom...it still have a 3.6 version. Elegancia is the best Rom ever, so just read OP and flash it

use Android revolution hd (ARHD) it has sense 3.6 rom and faster than anyone..
but in my opinion you should try the sense 4 as its best and better than sense 3.6.

Ha so I'm guessing that it's a yes that I can safely upgrade from 3.6 to 4. VIPERS was one of the roms I was looking at.

So go for it....and experience lots of tweaks ...

Sense version is not the same as android version. There's no additional issues in flashing a sense 4 ROM from 3.6.

officialy you can't
but unofficialy yes
you have to root first and flash a custom recovery
after that you must flash a custom rom which has sense 4 from recovery
