Otterbox doesnt have a case for the N4 but the only case they have for LG phones is the Optimus G. I was wonder since is the same hardware would it fix?http://www.otterbox.com/lg-optimus-g-cases/lg-optimus-g-cases,default,sc.html
No it wouldn't fit. They aren't really even close:

(Look at the size specs in the chart)
I wonder if they are going to make one for the Nexus, I have used their cases ever since I first got a smartphone, excellent cases.

No, they have confirmed they don't have any plans to at the moment.

At the moment being the key words.
My understanding is that they pretty much always say that, right up until they do make one. I'm still hoping for one.

Don't be so sure, they never produced a case for the Nexus S, I used the Seidio Active for that handset and was glad Otterbox produced a case for the Galaxy Nexus.
They got one for the nexus 7 now, didn't have that for the longest time. What I don't get is how they had the iphone 5 and ipad mini cases ready at launch but it takes them 6 months for a nexus?

Because they know that their ROI (return on investment) will be high. iProducts tend to sell very well.
It's not a matter of Otterbox is having troubles making a commuter or defender case for the Nexus 4 or whatever device you want it on. It's a matter of the business perspective, they don't want to make a case if there isn't enough demand for it because they won't get a ROI back on it.

Well I know they'll make one its just when you need it now it sucks. They did eventually make with the nexus 7 case even though they said they had no plans to. In the meantime I ordered a diztronic, but might grab a commuter when it comes out if it's small and stylish like the galaxy Nexus case, probably won't if it's like my commuter on my Vivid... Very bulky and hard to touch the sides of the screen!

not even worth the time wasted waiting on them... on the other hand ballistic has shown initiative and even released photos of the case on their website
if anyone hasn't seen it; i really recommend taking a look!

Yeah I can't wait, need a case right away when I get the nexus 4, I ordered a ditztronic. They claim they aren't going to make one, but they are fos. My insignificant htc vivid, a mediocre lte phone slotted in to fill the gap between the inspire 4G and the one x has otterbox cases, in fact I am rocking the commuter on mine right now. If they'll make a case for the Vivid, they'll make a case for anything

If they don't make it, too bad. No business for them.
Not even bother with a petition.

I'm about over otterbox anyway, too bulky and ugly. You can't beat the protection but even the commutter I have on my vivid is big and ugly

Hence the if you feel so inclined. Not everyone likes otterboxes or bulky cases in general but given that the OP obviously wants one I figured I would post it. If you don't care about otterboxes, that's cool maybe the thread isn't for you.
Also be aware there are a number of styles of otterboxes and some are pretty slim. Everyone thinks of the defender but there are others such as the reflex and the prefix. It would also be nice if they made an armor case for it for those who want a waterproof case. Better chance of Otterbox than lifeproof on that one.

Case Mate Tough Case also is very good dropping protection, but sadly the don't support the n4 either
Yeah I say screw otterbox. They've been kissing apples ass too long, ridiculous all the options you can get for an iphone, where as an android phone you get black. And my commutter I had on my vivid was poorly designed with the screen bumpers being in the way of typing in portrait, and my proximity sensor never worked right with it on either.
There are plenty of nicer and more stylish options if you need a heavy duty case. So let otterbox get on with their apple love affair and buy another manufacturers case!

I was given permission to post a review on a high quality nexus 4 microseude pouch..here it is:thumbup:
High quality sewed product, that comes in a variety of fabric choice/colors, this pouch holds a nexus 4 with a diztronic tpu case so if you got a bumper or any other case/bumper this pouch will hold it, fits in a pants pocket perfectly, utilizes a draw string to keep it from falling out, does not attract any lint...out of all pouches this is a great product you will not regret buying...and with the official nexus logo its a clear reminder that the nexus device is and always will be a must have device for android enthusiast
"Vanilla android >jail broken iOS>90" TV's"
I bought the same exact one but on black. I now use it to store headphones and a charger. I love this pouch it works really well on my phone with any case or bumper too

Very nice.
And the one I am using, although a bit too short.

You keep your phone in a sock?
When clicking the OP link I'm getting an error message, anyone getting the same thing? Seriously want that pouch...
The person who makes those pouches has an account here on XDA. Here you go a link to their post about these pouches:

Check this eBay link too and click Items for sale:

The logo is artfully done on these.

Nexus 4 tandem
I have a Galaxy Nexus and it's coming to the end of it's useful life. I've dropped it once or twice and it's a naked so it's scuffed and I think possibly damaged internally.
It usually works fine but its a little slower than I'd like. More importantly it seems to have trouble with the radios. I can't use the GPS or a data connection if I'm in a call.
So I'm thinking of getting a Nexus 4 as the Moto X and Nexus 5 are unlikely to come to the UK anytime soon.
I have 3 docks for my Galaxy Nexus. On my office desk, by my bed and one in my car that I hacked together with an air vent holder (since you can't buy this combination).
If I get a Nexus 4 I'd like to protect it with a case or the official bumper.
My question is this: Can I use any of the Nexus 4 docks with a case or the bumper?
You can't with the Galaxy Nexus as it's a snug fit into the docks. I feel this is a real shame as you have to have one or the other and putting on and taking off a case all the time is not what I want to be doing.
Since the nexus 4 uses wireless charging with its docks, most cases and bumpers work fine, except ones that are UN normally large Or made of metal. I know the bumper and the s line cheap ones work from personal experience.

The docks I'm looking at, on Amazon.co.uk, are not only the wireless one.
The inductive charger is available, but oddly I can't find it on Google Play (UK).
I need a dock for my car. What I have at the moment, for my Galaxy Nexus is this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aftermarket...1375958099&sr=1-26&keywords=galaxy+nexus+dock
hacked superglued to this air vent holder from this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Gal...&sr=1-2&keywords=galaxy+nexus+car+holder+vent
So it's like have a desk dock in the car. It's connected to a cigarette lighter usb output so it has power.
I know that no one makes these, which I find unbelievable, so I had to make it myself. I did the same with my HTC sensation and I'd like to do the same with a Nexus 4.
The thing is - I want a case on my Nexus 4. My Galaxy Nexus has always been naked and I'd like a little protection. So it's the Nexus 4 with case that must be compatible with a dock I have in the car that is the issue.
Dear fellow Nexus 6P users,
I'm trying to get a manufacturer to build a cross-back aluminium case for the Nexus 6P. Anyway, I got (stole) the idea from the mod-3 cases for iPhone that has been wildly popular. I've attached some images below from mod-3. And as and when I do actually get a 3D-render for the Nexus 6P (or better yet a prototype!), I'll post it.
I've also included a rough drawing of where the beams might be on the Nexus 6P. I wanted more curvature and less straight boring beams. Also the curvature also allows for the "x" to meet where the neXus is. Could be a stupid idea but just thought I throw it out here to see if there are others who might be interested. It might be a once-off case but WHY-NOT?
Also, seeing that there has been complains about full-back aluminium cases interfering with the signals/reception etc, perhaps leaving parts of the camera module open is a plus?
Merry Christmas and happy holidays ahead everyone.
I want one. But wouldn't that scratch the visor?

I can't find a zerolemon juicer case for the Nexus 4 anywhere, so I'm hoping someone here has on they are not using. Not worried if the battery is bad. I can still get those, just not the case.

Sorry for the late reply but afaik nobody makes cases like that for the nexus 4 anymore, when I got my nexus 4 I wanted a otterbox as I loved them but nexus devices were apparently the exception to the rule for case makers and such as the only plentiful place to get them or anything for the nexus 4 or 5 for that matter is on eBay or Amazon
