Does anyone know where I could get replacement ear cushions for these headphones? I've checked a few places without any luck. Any ideas?

just buy new AD2P headphones, these were good but theres newer smaller versions out now that also have the mic built in.
aka the BH501's i got off ebay for like $50AUD
i just put the HT820 away as a backup set
I also need one or 2 replacements, anyone had any luck with these?
If I were to shell out for a new bluetooth headset I'd likely get another set of these again as I've yet to find another pair with a 12 hour battery life when listening to music. I actually frequently get longer than 12 hours out of mine.
Earpads
I see this is an old thread. Did anyone find out where to get the replacement pads cause I am now in need....and I don't want to get rid of these headphones.
Some have suggested these Plantronics Ear Cushions that fit H-51, H-51N, H-61, H-61N, H-91 and H-91N model headphones from Plantronics.

I haven't tried them but ay under $3 I'm gonna give 'em a shot.
HTC apparently is no longer replacing headphones. I've had a ticket in with them for a solid week now with absolutely no updates from HTC.
Does anyone know where to get headphones with next/play/prev buttons and a mic?
I can find plenty with JUST play/pause, but pretty much NONE with prev/play/next and microphone!
It seems the Desire uses the same headphones, so I thought maybe I could find those, but they pretty much do not exist online. Going nuts here! I use these things every day, it's such a bummer. I'm using my old ipod headphones now but the sound quality is utter garbage and theres no play controls.
Have you tried calling them? I just called them this afternoon and told them my battery was going bad and that i "misplaced" my earphones. After a few minutes of chat chtting, they're sending me a replacement battery and earphones.
I've talked to them three times now, they just keep saying it should be happening and they don't know why it's not. They never give me a tracking number or anything. It's like stuck in limbo.
It doesn't even matter. I don't care if they are free or even if they are HTC... it's the functionality I'm after!!
whats wrong with them?
Mine actually doesn't work, the buttons don't respond, and the mic doesn't work either..
is this an issue that was going around?
My buttons don't work and the left ear piece quit as well. Only a couple months use!
I lost mine last week, I called them and they sent me a replacement, they arrived in 72 hours.
W.T.F. sigh. Why is it I always have to spend at least 10 hours to get anything done over a phone support line.
Bose Mobile In-Ear Headset. Best sound quality and comes with microphone, play/pause, and I think a double click goes to next song.
Expensive but worth it. Google it or search Bose online.

If you looking to buy a expensive pair, then these are the best Etymotic HF2 High Fidelity Headphones.
The problem is I want high quality but I also want earbud because I need to be able to pause and talk to people without taking them out of my ears. I know earbud and quality don't go together, but the HTC earbuds that came with the phone are honestly some of the best earbuds I've ever heard. Far and away better than the garbage buds that comes with Apple's electronics, and better than most aftermarket ear buds too.
Buy this one, and put normal headphones in this one.

.....and free shipping.
I personally think the stock headphones with the Android characters look a little silly, which is why I never opened my headphones when I got my N1. But that's just a personal preference. If it were me, I'd get and use something else other than the stock headphones.
finally found them. http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=192376 these should be the same ones that shipped, but without the android logo on the side. instead they say "HTC Innovation".
Nevermind, they aren't the same. They are precisely alike except the next/prev buttons do not work. Thanks for making all of your identical **** work together, HTC.

The sku.33718 do not work on my Nexus One. Just got one. The cable is somewhat on the thick side and the control panel is also big. Either they don't work or my phone is defective.
My stock headphones are not able to pause/play or answer calls. This happen about a month ago.
I think I'm going to try and get HTC to send me new stock headphones. If the replacements don't work, then the problem is with my phone...either software or hardware related.
Also the MW600 is pretty much out of stock in the USA. I'm thinking of importing as it is very important to me to be able to stop/start/play/answer my phone without taking it out of my pocket.
I've been having the same problems. None of my buttons work, the left earbud's quit on me, and they keep shocking me. HTC won't respond to a support request (I got this replacement back in February.), and I've tried calling them about it.
Cant' find OEM's online either, anyone had luck since?
I don't know if you ever got this resolved, but I actually had lost my headset that i had with my N1 and when I called they had no problem helping me and sent me a new pair within four days at no cost to me. I'm very happy with them. This took place around the 25th of April and I received them about the 29th or 30th.
htc replaced mine.
I called today to replace mine. They actually and I quote said.. " I'm surprised they lasted u this long".. they replace no charge for shipping or anything..

Totally worth it if you want something that doesn't sound like total **** (read: the stock headphones).
I'm going to grab the Nexus One Dock from HTC. Been without a dock AND screen protector ever since I got this phone.. 6months ago? No problems yet though...
Anyways the Nexus One Dock can ouput to speakers.. are there any good portable mini ones with a remote? if not, then without a remote? Looking to put this on my beside table, which doesn't have alot of room.
Edit: I remember looking at these small speakers that were designed as a robot.. forgot the names, anyone got a clue?
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I found this headset Bayerdynamic MMX 101 iE accidentally just a while ago.
If anyone has tried it, can you please write your review here?
Edit: Is the sound quality good? Microphone quality? Compatibily with Desire?
http://europe.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/sports-and-on-the-way/mmx-101.html
This has caught my eyes since a few day ago but I can not find any reviews at all.
So, any words for this headset will be very appriciated since I need one right now.
Edit: Sorry misstyping by Beyerdynamic , it should be Bayerdynamic

Well...€99 still belongs to the middle class..there are still more with more expensive.
I think the price range between €70-€100 is the correct range for me, more than €100 is a bit too expensive.
Remember you get what you pay.
That type is competely new and there is still no real review available...perhaps I just have to wait for some time until the review is there.
more expensive

I have found several good ones above €100 but I am not planning to go that high.
It was launched during the musikmesse/music fair just a while ago so..it's kinda new and still without any convincing review.
I will have to wait until there are more review.
Hi Im fairly new to these forums but i can tell you that you cant go wrong with these. I bought these about a week ago and have been nothing short of stunned by the quality. They have great bass and really crisp clear midrange. I would say that these are better than the sennheisers and klipschs s2i that i have.
One thing to note is that make you play around with the earbuds as if you get them wrong they sound really flat and dull so make sure you get them to seal in your ears properly.
It is also a coincidence, yesterday I met some in train on the way home after work.
I asked if I can use it for a couple of minutes in the train, and he said yes.
My review within a few minutes:
1. sound quality is incredible for the price.
2. mic is also good.
3. unfortunately, no volume control or whatsoever except a button to pick up and hang up the call. (not really a big problem, not really in need of a mic and pick up button anyway).
4. metal housing for the ear pieces is awesome.
5. the cable looks extremely fragile to me. it is thin, not braided, etc.
(I am not sure of getting this headset because of this. This is the biggest downside. My current in-ear headphone (Klipsch Image S3) has just given up or lost its life just last night, the cable got broken again. The warranty is still there, but I don't want to claim it for the third time. I just prefer a new one instead of waiting weeks for claiming. It must be something wrong with how I store the headphone in my bag ).
6. Ear plug/bud don't fit my ears perfectly, I have tried on the one attached tho'. (It could be another problem)
I also found Philips SHO9560 (O'Neal stretch). It looks super robust but doesn't have good sound relatively compared to mmx-101i. Its look is also very appealing.
Now, I'm confused.
Way too expensive for me.
For the same price (or cheaper) I would get headphones/earphones from already proven company: Sennheiser.
Update:
Phillips SHO9560 sounds teribble.
MMX101ie doesn't really fit my ear...it comes off often (unless I get the individual package, but it is too expensive)...I don't wanna get an in-ear anymore...getting something which fits my ear is just a matter of luck...
No AKG products fits my huge head size (honest), I like the sound of AKG K518 but it is too small for my head, tried also 430, 420, 520, etc....
This is official! I hate AKG! This company never thinks of people with huge head like me! It is discrimination!
Sony XD300, XD500...sounds dark (bass too strong, trebble not clear)
Dr. Dre Solo HD is too expensive for the quality I am getting.
I will look for some more...Sennheiser, Denon, Bose, etc....
What I hate is that Desire can not really pull Sennheiser PXC450 (I own one at home and I use it mostly during flights or at home)....volume gets too low even on max.
Sh*t it is not easy to find the correct one!
Late response!
I just found this thread after looking into the MMX101 iEs myself - what was your solution in the end? I really like these headphones and fortunately they fit my ears; unfortunately though, the mic and answer button did not work, so I'm having to send them back. Hopefully the replacements will work fine!
Did you settle on over-ear headphones in the end? Given your situation I would have recommended the Sony MDR-V500 - great headphones, excellent range, solid bass response which is punchy but doesn't overwhelm the mid-range, and amazingly cheap considering!
Hope you managed to get this sorted anyway.
I've got these. Nothing short of awesome. The sound quality at all levels is incredibly crisp and you don't use any equaliser settings/tweaks as the ear phones sort all that out for you. Had mine for two years now and need a new set and will definitely buy the same ones again.
Also get 3 pairs of different size buds depending on what suits your ear best.
Someone can confirm the microphone and remote of Beyerdynamic MMX-101 works with android?
Thanks

That does not depend on OS (Android, iOS, Windows). The "problem" is different layout of rings on the 3.5mm connector with different phone manufacturers ("microphone" and "ground" rings are swapped). It's natively compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Blackberry and HTC. If you want them to work correctly with Nokia, Sony, Samsung, Motorola, LG and other models you have to buy a separate adaptor.
I bought V-Moda M100 in the end.
It is expensive but worth every single penny I spent
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I've searched every store I can think of, scoured the forums, and I still have found nothing close to what I want. Please help me out!
I'm looking for a pair of earbuds with a mic, compatible with the i9000. I cant wear the inner-ear type... so I'm looking for the older kind with the foam pads, and I'm looking for something high in quality.
TLDR:
-Want earbuds with mic.
-Galaxy S.
-Not inner-ear, but foam pads.
-High quality.
Anything?
I'm gonna bump this (Sorry to be useless) but I am exactly in the same boat. Someone nicked my SGS stock ones and now I am coming to replacing them, I realised, I don't want In-Ears. I'm open to buds or over ears though in my case. Quality is a must
Can't use the inner ear ones, HATE THEM!
Try these http://goo.gl/OfOhY
I hate in-ears too, but I've used these for years, great sound and really comfortable, don't let the price fool you...
They look nice DMD9, but they don't have a microphone...
We're looking for a replacement for stock ones.
You might want to change the title of the thread to wired headset so
Have you checked out Urban Ears range? http://www.urbanears.com/headphones
Tested a pair of their Plattan's last week, not bad sound for music and I was able to make a call with them, (though the sound was extremely low), might be worth following up on...
Those Urbanears one's seem nice. How certain are you that having those mic compatible headset would work with our phones? I tried bose ones the other day and they didn't work properly
They definitely worked, but as I said, the call volume was extremely low, both for me and the person I was calling. I was using a demo pair in the shop so it's possible they were damaged in some way, but I'd recommend researching or trying them yourself first, just to make sure.
