Does Amazon MP3 app come with VZW Jellybean 4.1.1 OTA? - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is Amazon MP3 part of the update because Titanium Backup shows it in red except the file is in /data/app?

Is yours in /data/app or in /system/app since I thought it may download because I had Amazon MP3 before I wiped the data on the phone and then did the update.

Copy the backup files from the SDcard to your PC after TB does a backup.
I agree that Titanium Backup is awesome but ever since I owned the Droid X I've used Rom Toolbox. Pretty much identical functionality, just a different layout.
Titanium Backup is the best!
Titanium Backup saves your life if you play games and flash roms
Titanium Backup Pro is one of the best android apps I've ever bought! I have mine to automatically upload backups to dropbox

You can backup directly to your dropbox on the paid version.

You don't back up "root".
TB backs up your apps (you can choose either apps or apps+data). It also has other handy features like the ability to uninstall apps (including useless stock apps) and to "freeze" apps (disable them but not uninstall them).
How about My Backup in the Android Market?

shows as update from market, but i get a "package signed error" when trying to update it
apparently the existing has a play in HQ option in the settings
how different is this from hd?
I would assume HD is 720p and HQ is like 480p

HQ on android's youtube app was crippled - it was 480p.
Not sure what it is now, but it's quite nice.

I will need to play it on my 1080p TV to be sure if it 720p or 1080p. But the youtube version 2.2.16 is able to stream video up 1080p to my TV. I have been using youtube version 2.2.16 ever since i got my note.
Only one thing . It only support Hd on wifi connection, still hq for 3g even my 3g speed is quite fast, I am dying to know how can I enable 3G hd youtube, I mean in stock app, not tubemate

Use Titanium Backup to force remove it, reinstall it from the Market and make it a system app (again with TB).
Can confirm that when on wifi the quality is much higher than usual HQ on mobile, later will test to make sure its true HD via HDTV

YouTube in the market shows as "incompatible with your device" anybody else getting this?
With that said, could someone post the apk here?

[Q] NFC problem

Hi guys, I'm having some problems using the NFC with a Samsung galaxy s3.
From my razr maxx hd to s3 it works well, but from S3 to motorola it does not work at all..
The motorola opens the play store with the message "item not found"..
The fact that I am not using any SIM card has something related?
Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX HD using xda app-developers app
I remember reading something about S Beam on the S3. Try disabling that and try again?

Hi biaianh! what were you trying to transfer? I tried to send some pictures to a S3 and nothing, also tried the other way from S3 to HD and nothing, the only thing I was able to transfer was contact's information... is there any app that we need to install?

I've successfully sent and received pictures with my friends' S3s. Make sure everyone is at least on JB 4.1. Disable S Beam but keep NFC/Android Beam enabled and try sending pics from gallery

thank you guys
I used these files but couldn't make them work.
That's what I did:
copied (overwrote) all 4 files to /system/app
set permissions rw r r (644)
booted into recovery
wiped cache
wiped dalvik
rebooted
Camera & Gallery disappeared,
maybe .apk and .odex do not fit together?
can you guys please upload both, .apk and .odex?
Or / additional upload a Titanium Backup package of Camera and Gallery?
thx in advance :good:

Contacts app broken

My dad's Droid 2 has the contacts app completely broken. He is rooted, and we've uninstalled recently a lot of "authenticators" (Facebook Authenticator for example). Could that have anything to do with it? Anytime the app is utilized at all, it crashes immediately. Whether from the contacts app itself or from dialer, the app just freezes. Is there a way for me to download someone else's contacts app so I can replace it, out just fix it?
Thanks
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using xda app-developers app
Many motorola apps are interdependent, remove one brake another.
Which system version 4.5.629?
I could upload a copy of contacts, but I don't have any idea any idea which apps you need.
Don't delete stock apps rename or freeze with titanium backup
I suggest reflashing firmware, I will post link to files if you post current system version.
Sent from my XT894 using Tapatalk
He has a Droid 2 global system version 4.5.629.A956 Android version 2.3.4. Is that everything you needed to know? He's thinking of just reflashing everything but I'd like to get things working.

try D2G_629_SBF-and-RootCD_2013.iso
it will reflash original 629 firmware
