I flashed JaggyDzire v1.2 and its been more than 1 hour since i flashed the ROM. Its stuck on htc quietly brilliant logo (one with beats audio logo). I don't think it should take this much time??
Its based on sense4 build 4 by derefas no?..why is this happening that sense4 by derefas is working and jaggydzire is not? sense4 by derefas booted within 10 minutes and working flawlesly.
Flashed 2-3 times. First, Superwipe. Second, Wiped everything even reformatted the card. No method seems to work.
I am using TWRP Recovery v.2.2 and kingston 8gb class 4 sdhc card. I have an ext4 1gb partition with zero swap. Formatted and partitioned using TWRP.
Please help me...please...I need JaggyDzire on my device...:crying::crying::crying:
Re: JaggyDzire v1.2 : Stuck on htc quietly brilliant logo

I tried flashing through yannou's recovery (as you said), it booted, but now its stuck in bootloop...
lock screen shows up and after unlocking white htc screen comes up...then reboots...
Flashed three times now.. Same bootloop problem everytime...
tried wiping cache and dalvik cache also with system wipe and factory reset.. But no success...
Also, when it boots, there is a warning on notification bar.."CustomizationSetup" or something like that...

Ok follow these exact steps...
Wipe cache , dalvik cache, system, sd ext, factory reset
Mount sd ext and cache
Flash Rom
Mount sd ext and cache again
Reboot system
If this doesnot work, wait for v2 ....it might be based on build 6 by derefas ...:good:

In my case sd-ext got unmounted after flashing and cache was mounted...
I'm just wondering if it's okay to format the internal sd card while doing my data wipe process (wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, format system) while flashing a new rom? I usually don't..but sometimes I want to start good and fresh and add that step to the already 4 step process..
Sent from my A100 using Tapatalk 2
If you're placing your new rom zip on an external sd then you're fine to wipe internal sd.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Also dont format it on your computer. Only format it in twrp or clockwork mod and backup your imei. I lost mine after completely wiping my internal card. Not sure if it was because of the wipe but they seemed to happen at the same time. Luckily I had a synergy backup.
This happens when i try to flash cyanogenmod 9.1 on my HTC Explorer. It doesn't boot, and when i boot into recovery, it shows "error in /cache/recovery/log no space left on device
What can i do? Please help me.
Do you clean install? Go to mounts and storage format boot cache system data come back to main menu wipe cache factory reset go to advanced wipe dalvik and then flash

If what akshat said didn't work, you've burnt your nand

EDIT: I am using yannou's recovery by the way, and i did what akshat said but it did not work. Have i got to flash another recovery?
Hello,
I'm having troubles with sd-ext partition, infact, everytime i change rom, the rom is unable to mount it with apps like link2sd, s2e, mount2sd etc.. also installing the same rom, the problem returns. The only way i found is to delete all the partition and create new ones, i'm currently using twrp recovery. Everytime i change a rom i do a factory reset, and wipe system. My sd is 32gb, class 10; 890mb ext3 partion. Am i doing something wrong in the installation?
ROM currently installed: CM10 beta6 that I would like to install a memory script.
I hope that someone can help; sorry 4 bad english!
Happy easter

in the wipe menu of twrp 2.4.4.0 there isn't data, there are only cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, system, external storage, android secure.
there isn't a mount and storage button, but there is a mount button that allow to connect usb mass drive to computer

i try your procedure using cwm 6.0, doesn't work
Flash kernel 2.6 and try ..mounting and installing mount2SD from play
And when you create partition from recovery, create it from yannou90 cwm recovery... it should work well, rather than twrp/cwm6 created partitions.

Try using minitool partition wizard and convert ext 3 filesystem to ext2. Mounting problem solved for ROMS using kernel 3.
partition
use twrp recovery, try to create partition in recovery mode for
GB-ext3
ICS-ext4.
if u flash new rom , use superwipe script its clear all data...

go to advanced=>partition sd card
choose desired ext size and format=>swap 0
then swipe to partition

your SD card might be having a problem change it and use better class SD card like class 6 or 10 woks best:fingers-crossed:
Try creating FAT32 partition using minitool partition manager.
