Yes, I was wipe all before flash, but it's still there . I tried again with wipe all, but it's still the same. But I shall try the v2. Thanks

I really do not know the reason, but after trying v2, problems remain the same

I also have to report a non-booting tablet. The problem with mine is, that it will not flash the kernel blob from /staging (i.e. /dev/block/mmcblk0p4). So obviously I'm stuck at the Eee Pad / Asus screen.
I'm having this issue on both 4.2 roms.

An important question (for me at least) is if the position of the virtual buttons can be changed so that they are on the very left hand side again instead being centered like in stock 4.2 (which is total nonsense imo).
I really hope for ROMs like AOKP with its usually great set of extra options there to "fix" this.

Paranoid android would probably do that.
I cherry picked something that might do it too but idk if it works.

been there.. done that.. but I will try once more
EDIT: It's simply refusing to boot any 4.2 kernel.. but it has no problem booting any other stuff (recovery kernel, 4.1 kernel, 4.0 kernel, gnu/Linux kernel)
And yes, my understanding of nvflash and the partitions of the tf101 is extensive enough to know what I'm doing, which is why this is annoying me so much!

Thanks for this pure ICS Rom Team Eos.
It works, i like it, and not have mixture HC/ICS like that based on Asus Rom's.
I wait for a good working of storage for to be a daily rom.
For now I made this:
Opened a terminal emulator app:
su
mkdir /Removable/MicroSD
mkdir /Removable/SD (keyboard)
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk1
mkdir /Removable/USBdisk2
Work well until next reboot
I wait the fix.
Thanks
EDIT: Good, the Camera photo and video work very well!!!

That patch will work with any Rom. All it does is move the 4 files to their right places to replace the other ones.
Like what I do manually with my guide but you just have to flash it.
Does Miui_V4 have the Tegra/Nvida driver support that the CM9 builds lack?
Been quiet for awhile so forgive my ignorance, long day at the office!
I've been using this for a couple hours. Works perfectly. I noticed some things are not in English such as when the phone is charging is says 'cargando' on the lock screen instead of 'charging' and in the message app under the 'Recommend' tab everything is in Chinese. Everything is else fine though besides the normal cm9 issues with drivers.

They don't have any control over that... if you were quiet you were observing, if you were observing you would know that NVIDIA is the only one who has control over that and refuses to release the source code... I'm sorry if this sounds mean but you need to understand that.

First of all, Great job on porting this!
I have been experimenting with porting this over for the last week or so and have not been successful. I would greatly appreciate it if you could guide me through it so that I at least learn something for my effort hahaha.
as far as Whitehawkx guide, I would get stuck on the part where I had to download the files to transfer...

Note. It does NOT have a boot.img, you may have to test other images. I have not had time to test that these work, but they are straight out of a Google Edition device.

EDIT: OKAY. Boots fine. TWRP gave me a weird "no OS installed, are you sure you want to reboot" thing, but it booted up fine. WiFi doesn't seem to work yet, but data's fine. I swapped out the update-binary in this zip with one from a CM10.1 zip and changed the relevant lines in the updater-script to make sure it installs without error. All it needs is a WiFi fix.

Theoretically, maybe. There are always bugs. Those are the only things I've noticed so far though. Everything else seems to work beautifully, minimal lag, etc.. I'm expecting a new kernel to fix the WiFi, or maybe OP forgot to include a few .lib files, fix permissions, or a myriad of other things. I'll look into it later today, but so far it works well enough for a DD (minus WiFi... )

LG 4.4.2 Stock Rom - Massively debloated, only has a few apps left. All LG features should work. Requires custom recovery. Do not flash AOSP or 4.2.2 kernels.
This includes my new updater script for kitkat so it actually has a /system folder instead of the system.img.
You can find the standalone updater script here. I believe it is the first created, every KK rom I've seen is not editable using a system.img. It took a few hours to create.
The kernel is stock but I made some small adjustments and toolchain fixes.
I have a custom kernel for this up in this forum.
Instructions.
Full wipe besides for internal storage
Flash Kitkat modem here (If you aren't already using it)
Flash Rom here (mirror soon, but not yet since I need to reupload)
Flash SuperSu here
If you get a "symlinks failed" (happens right away if system doesn't mount properly) reboot back into recovery re-wipe and flash again.
You are the man!?!?? I should have never left your lg 4.4 build. Flaked another and paid for it.
Thanks again doc!!

It will download if you go to the torrent file using a file explorer like estrongs. I don't know why it doesn't work the way it used to by just opening up after downloading the torrent file but at least your not totally screwed.

twrp 6.3 failed had to upgrade to 2.7 for it to flash.
i've tried every single Kitkat rom I have get my hands on, followed the instructions to the letter and if I turn this screen off and turn it back on, its just lines. White lines or colored lines. Every single f*cking kitkat stock rom. I don't get it. i'm ready to throw the thing into the river.
I know its not your rom, and it works flawlessly as long as I don't turn off the screen.

This is probably one of the most confusing issues to me since everyone here has the same device, downgrading to the same exact partitions yet some people have these line issues which makes no sense to me at all. I've been trying to figure it out but its a pretty confusing issue, its not like we have different variants. We can maybe try upgrading tz and rpm partitions since they will work with this bootloader
The only thing complete stock has that this don't is the new partitions and I'm really not sure why it's causing issues for some people

Don't know if it's only me, but there are too many bugs for me. Some settings causes FCs(like the one in "Buttons" section), recents menu causes some graphics artifacts, trying to change wallpaper causes FC, StickMount 3.10 damaged filesystem(I am unable neither to mount/unmount anything after reboot, nor deleting it's working folder in /sdcard(even with adb)). Still it was worth trying!

buttons fC because their are no buttons. And use otg helper instead of stickmount.
I'm wanting to try this, but I'm curious what kind of LED functionality does this have?

Probably safe to assume that it at most has the same hooks as previous version of cm where you can set a persistent LED color and that's about it.

wow so far this is the best and most stable CM ROM I've used for the Nexus Q!
Please please keep the updates coming, we could cherry pick a few mods to get the LED ring more functional and allow connecting a mic etc?
this is amazing, thank you very much!
New build link in OP! Enjoy
Any way to get an amp build for this version ?
what's new in the new build?

New stuff
flash messed up
When I tried flashing this rom, I got the Installing update... prompt, then I got the message:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/0/Download/cm-11-20140803-UNOFFICIAL-steelhead.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.
I saved a backup before I tried flashing, but now I can't even get my Q to boot up normally or to recovery, I only get a black screen and scrolling blue LED light on my Q.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

What new stuff? I don't see any apparent changes. Anything we should be aware of? Why update?
Well done!
This is really well done. Seems very stable to me. @Moose0704, is there any chance you would consider applying to be the device maintainer for steelhead on the official CM project?

I know you solved this, but for anyone else with this issue, be sure you are on an updated recovery.
I used the recovery from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49102621&postcount=1
New build posted in OP, enjoy
Can I cast regularly (as if the Q actually were a chromecast) with this rom or do I have to use xbmc?

Yes, with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55935384&postcount=1
Btw, ROM is working fine. See sometimes a few graphical glitches, mostly in the overview screen.
I was able to install the app and things are kind of working but it appears the Q is having trouble with the actual "playing" of what is casted. Perhaps the issue is I'm on eithernet. I know the ADT-1 can also be spotty with casting when hooked up via eithernet.
