Hi everyone,
I know there are a whole lot of replacements for office app on the google play store
but I wanted to know two things:
Is it possible to port a app from windows phone 8 to android apk?
And if you can, can anyone make a port of the real office from wp8 to a apk for android?
Thanks a lot to all of you developers!

My friend who has an Android phone (Moto Cliq on T-Mo USA) showed me this application she got called, World Tour. The developer is BoD, his website is here: http://www.jraf.org/android/ and the specific section for this application is here: http://jraf.org/code-latoureiffel/content.xml
What I'm wondering is if someone out there could port this application to Windows Mobile for my HD2.. I already e-mailed the developer and he said he is not planning on creating any applications for Windows Mobile, only Android :-(.
If not, then does anyone know of any similar application for Windows Mobile that will load live webcam's (from different links, I even know a few of my own I'd like to use if possible) as your wallpaper (background)? And this application will also change the image every X minutes (my friend had her's set to 15 mins)...
Hope someone can help, thanks in adv.!
85 Views and noonee is interested in this? Or willing to try porting it? I wish I knew enough about programming, etc to do it :-(...
Hi all you brainy developers out there, just wondering if anyone has the knowledge to port an andoid app to the Windows mobile platform?
The game is called Throw a Panda and is available on the android market for free here: http://www.android.com/market/#app=heinrisch.throwa.pandaad
Game is located on the 'Top Free' tab of the android market place.
Would be really good if someone could do this.
Many thanks
Q: Is there anyway to get the huddle/messenger part from Google+ into the messaging part of wp7 or is there a app wich i have missed that has support for this part of G+
Im currently running around with two devices, one android on hd2 and a trophy with mango, and im in the midst of replacing both these with a titan or a lumia 800, but only if i can get the messenger part from g+ into it, since a large part of my daily contacts are available there..
I found it ridiculously hard to google and sensible information about this, so if you guys have any more or less concrete information on this i would be very thankfull!
I m having the same trouble too. Want to move over to WP7 on my HD2 but I don't want to end up not being able to use to google messenger.
Does now anyone know if it is possible? Is there an app I didnĀ“t find?
Thanks.
Hi lads,
There is an app called AFL Supercoach on the iOS app store. I want that app on WP7 but have absolutely no hope that it is in development. I was wondering whether it would be possible to convert it using the tool MS had released. The tool with all the indexed codes and stuff..
Would it be possible? In a WP7 layout (Zune like)? And how hard would it be?
I'm not an experienced developer..
cheers guys, Abz

Its too early for me to dig up a link but if you go to MSDeveloper pages, there is a link for porting apps from iOS to WP and Android to WP. I am not an experienced developer either but love tinkering stuff from days of WM and android. I am currently porting 2 Android apps to WP. Takes time initially but isn't that difficult. Give it a shot. If you fail to find a link, holla me, when I've opened my eyes I will search it and paste it here. Hope this will help. Happy developing for WP!
Hey dude,
Got the link and also the app that I'm working on. But how do I know which file from inside the iOS app corresponds to which file within the WP7 app? They have different names....
And for the corresponding APIs and codes, do I have to use the online"directory" on the MSDeveloper or is there an alternative program available?
Cheers, Abz
Hi, I'm looking for Office application (for GNex) that is optimized for ICS API
I checked this thread about 7 Major Office apps and all of them still use the old-orangey API
It seems only Polaris has the ICS-flavor but it's not available on Google Play
So, do you guys know the Office that has my criteria?
Thanks
