So I followed your tutorial and getting PPTP VPN is A PAIN IN THE ASS. Aside from that I got it working. I am having another issue that maybe you can help me out with. On my galaxy nexus, I connect to the VPN over my 4g LTE connection on my phone. Once I connect to my VPN and log into Splashtop 2, I can't reach splashtop servers. Do any of you guys have this same problem?
Am I missing something?
I am out of ideas why I can't connect to my Windows 7 vpn host from my iphone 4 running on ios6.1.2. I've doubled checked my settings and open ports, but I can't seem to get my iphone to connect to my vpn.
I can; however, connect if I am connected to my network AND using my local ip address. But, I cannot connect using my external address while being connected to the same network or 3G.
Port 1723 tcp is forwarded and I have verify it by checking with an online port checker. Can someone suggest what else I need to check or enable? I have also tried disabling windows firewall and my virus program to no available.

Im sorry if i sound stupid but i really don't understand the tutorial. Is it possible that you can make a video tutorial? It does not matter to me if the quality is not that great but i just really need a video or at least some pictures to guide me....

Anything that bypasses paid features of an app or program is considered warez on XDA. This one slipped through the cracks.... But now it's closed.

hi, id like to ask if there is a software that tracks what programs connects to the internet. i don't know what programs are connecting right now but my bill just went way above its limit due to GPRS and 3G use.. i found that the program i downloaded, palringo, was what caused it, plus my email which was set to recieve every 2 hours. these new phones are all about mobile internet usage nowadays..
Oops, answered the question with a link to a firewall program... Let me see if I can find one that tracks programs individually.

That's what I got, not sure if it only gives IP's of data transfer or if it gives the application name all the time. You can see it lists ActiveSync. See if that works.

That's exactly the the reason why I have a contract @ vodafone with unrestrained access 4 inet...

Is anyone using their Raph or Fuze as a webcam on their laptops or desktops?
I saw the software Webcamera Plus but I can not get it working on a Stock Fuze Rom. I have tried all the directions out there...

I've seen a program called Mobiola somewhere, it can also make your cam phone to work like a webcam but I haven't tried it. Maybe you can give that a shot.
I've been using Webcamera+ for the last few days with no problems at all. Did you set the setting to camera? If you have it set to camera+ it won't work. I picked that up from a thread here...sorry I can't give the op proper credit. Also, I did figure out that you can't tether with the Fuze on a laptop while trying to use this app.
If you search a little maybe you might find that post that I was referring to.

webcamera plus and mobila webcam both work...just dont look very good (quality poor) and webcam+ is very slow on device
Webcamera Plus Registration Problem
I got Webcamera plus to work pretty well on my Fuze after switching the source to Camera. I paid to register the product, and got a registration code, but I have been unable to register it. Have any fuze owners successfully registered the software? I don't see any way to enter my owner information, which it is asking me to do before registering. It says to do it under settings, but there's no option under settings for owner info.

I solved this on my own. I thought it meant that I enter owner information using the Webcamera software, but they actually meant the owner of the phone. I entered that in the windows settings and was able to register the software with that name.
Hi everyone. I've been hearing mention of some sort of Internet Sharing application or addon to the comm manager, that would allow me to turn my phone into some sort of hub. I'd like to be able to use my phone's connection with my iPod Touch, (or perhaps, other devices), so my searching is what has lead me here.
However, I don't really know what the "defacto" modification is for getting this capability. I've seen several threads already. Also, they seem to lack in documentation. They come in cab files - would that mean I can just download and install from my phone right away?
So if anyone can recommend me a wifi sharing app, (preferably for the HTC Ozone), I would be very grateful.

You can't.
WinMo 6 can share via USB or Bluetooth using protocols that neither of which are supported on Honeycomb.

My HTC HD2 with WinMo 6.5 has a Wi-Fi router option in the system page(accessed via the Windows symbol button). I've used it to access the internet from an ASUS notebook, I'm hoping to use the same thing when my Transformer arrives. It should just be like using any other wireless access point.
