HI guys,
I have a Samsung S III CDMA with Sprint locked got from a friend from US. Is there any way i can use this phone with Reliance CDMA or with similar subscriber here in India?
Thanks,
Ramki
Hi there! I'm moving back to India tomorrow after a few years in the US and I'm interested in getting my off-contract Verizon Galaxy Nexus and Sprint Galaxy S3 working in Delhi/NCR. I realize neither will work on a GSM network as the VZW is the I515.9 baseband and the Sprint one lacks a SIM slot, but can I get them running on a local CDMA carrier like MTS or *shudder* Reliance?
I've done some digging online and in here, but I can't seem to find anything about getting either device working on a CDMA network in India other than warnings that some carriers may not activate them if they aren't on their own "approved devices list".
Thanks so much for your help and happy new year!

Hello,
I was wondering if you ever figured out how to make the 920K work on at&t's network. Thanks in advance!
Hello ...! s6 buy a samsung 920i factory unlocked via internet, the seller said the official phone with any GSM T-Mobile company ATT etc ... but to put the sim card did not work ...! Why is this happening?

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
The 920i is the international model, and thus misses Band 4 (1700mHz) which is used by the USA GSM operators (AT&T, T-Mo, MetroPCS, et cetera). This means you won't get 4G LTE with this device.
Also, if trying with T-Mobile, they alos use 1700mHz for HSPA (3G), a frequency your device does not have either. So unless T-Mo still supports 2G (I remember a planned phasing of that out at some point), your device will not work with their network.
AT&T on the other hand, uses 3G 850/1900 frequencies, so you should be okay.
At any rate, I could be optimistically wrong. So, please create an account, so you cna post in other forums, then either post in the above linked thread, or in the S6 general help thread:

Hope this helps, and good luck!
