please help me to s-off

i am new in this and i don`t know how to make it.. i already follow the tutorial for this but when i enter the beta key it says that is not valid.. i have 0.98.0002 HBOOT version

i already tried... but in cmd when it`s asking the beta key don`t work`s.. is telling me that the beta key is invalid.. i tried it several times.. the same problem..
i only downloaded the revolutionary archive, completed the form with my details, i opened the revolutionary app...and then my problem with the bta key.

Maybe you enter the IMEI number instead of Serial number?

If you use the cut and paste method for both the serial number and the beta key, it helps to prevent typos that can occur during this process. It is very easy to mistake 1 for l and 0 for O.

the problem was with the code.. i didin`t paste it at the begin.. but now it work`s thank`s for help

I am trying to s-off my DS. I did it before no problem but since then I had to send my DS back to HTC and now it is S-ON again.
details: HBOOT - 0.98.0002
De-bugging enabled
fastboot off
firewall off
using W7 64bit
downloaded htc drivers
When running Revolution I get as far as:
" waiting for fastboot...
Rebooting to fastboot (once moar...)
FAILED - Go have some lemonade!
Press (almost) any key to exit."
Any ideas???

[Q] HTCdev error. "Unlock token check failed"

I get this error on the 12th step on htcdev bootloader unlock thingy and i get this error: FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)
I have tried different methods but nothing have worked ...
I have tried to unistall and then restart and then installed all the drivers again 2 times, didnt work. I tried on my laptop and that wouldnt work either...
So if anyone know what this means or anything please answer on this thread!!
I also e-mailed the htcdev support and they said this: "Dear Pontus,
Thank you for contacting HTC.
I understand that you are experiencing problems unlocking your bootloader.
I think the root of the problem is that your unlock token is not valid.
To get a new, hopefully working, token go to HTCdev.com and follow the instructions there to download one."
Ive tried to do that also but it didnt work either so please guys help me out here!!!

what code did you enter on their site, did you take the first<<<<<(...)>>>>>

I followed all the steps really urgent. I also got the e-mail correctly and put it in the folder with the 3 other files as they said.

it's still not working,
and i also trying to get temproot to install cwmrecovery ,

i think maybe newest XE 's chip has something change on there .

why using htcdev?! use revolutionary! it's the best! better! what's your hboot version?

What Version of hboot Do you have now?
I get mine back from warranty repair with 1.29.0000, cause they put a new Board in it.
May be there is an experience developer who want an image of my Stockrom to check some possibilities?

I have the same problem. Only difference is that I got my phone back with HBoot 1.18.0000. I could't unlock it via revo and htc dev. After the ICS update I have 1.27.0000. New board, too I think their doing this for every sent in sensation, because my sensation had a broken volume button and dust under the screen. So changing the board was completly pointless.

Is there new news or solution to unlock bootloader?..i am on new matherboard.

I've got the same, rooted phone back from repair. ICS preinstalled, HBOOT 1.29 and can't unlock it. Don't fancy the 'juopunutbear' method bridging connections etc, sounds messy.
Whole list of parts replaced for the dust under the screen problem, board changed giving new imei, wifi mac, bt mac etc etc.
I've replied to my 'repair thread' on HTC website telling them of the problem, I bought HTC so I could unlock and use OpenVPN. Will see what they say!

OK, update from me. I've logged a support request with HTCDEV, after going through the usual check details / make sure it's not something I'm doing wrong they're escalating it.
Given them details of serial number, IMEI, android/sense versions etc and it's being looked into.
I'll come back here once I've had something new from them, but at least the problems being looked at.

I Get This From htc_dev when I send that i flash Unlock_code.bin FAILD:
With regards to your enquiry, kindly this message means that you still have update so kindly we ask you to have the last update then try to unlock your bootloader.NOTE: as we mentioned in our last email between us that unlocking bootloader will make you out of warranty.

i retrieved the unlock code which is 155929659.i used emulator run su string n-8 ......and i found this code i put it in the code generator with last 7 digits imei 7004714 and i get this 8450 2655 .its incorrect.i read in some posts that the unlock code in the s3 processors does not exist.....only s4 can be unlocked.please tell me that im wrong

You can unlocked using the Htcdev.com

I think he means sim unlock, he already has the boot loader unlocked it looks like as he has twrp and wiped everything. I would try to use the unlock code any way. I don't think it'd hurt if you put the wrong code, just wouldn't unlock if it was incorrect.

Mcone doesn't work for hboot 2.09 and Trickdroid doesn't boot for all hboot version..So there's no Rom for 2.09 other than Stock or Back to basic Rom.

[Q] There may be no solution to what I've done.

Hello everyone. I've been following XDA since I first laid hands on a Nexus One. Thanks to all of you, I've been able to hack, mod, customize, etc. with only a few close calls. My ATT One X has proven to be a little more tricky and unforgiving. Long story short, I'm stuck in fast boot with an incorrectly changed CID (HTC_621) and a relocked bootloader. I was hoping to get another unlock token from HTC but I think they've abandoned the link. My only other hope was to edit the CID of the "android-info" file in the rom.zip of the RUU, but WinRAR says corrupt archive error when I change the text file. WinZIP won't even open the package--says its invalid. Bottom line, I've exhausted all resources as far as recovering from bad flashes and boot loop. My problem is that damn CID. Any bright ideas guys?

Official ROM zips are signed.
The signature makes the zip non standard so some apps wont open them and most everything else will not modify the file.
Even if you could modify you would make the signature invalid so it would not flash unless you had s-off.
By "Abandoned link" do you mean HTC will not send you an unlock token because the CID is invalid?
Have you tried your previous unlock token?
Without getting a valid unlock token I am unsure if what you can do.

Just out of curiosity, what were you trying to do exactly and what CID is that?

It's an Endeavour CID for HTC Asia in Taiwan. And we wonder why HTC locks bootloaders and write-protects system partitions.
To the OP: This would not have worked anyway because you were trying to install software for a completely different phone.
Your original unlock token should still work. Trying unplugging and powering off your phone, rebooting your computer, and try flashing it again.

I thought unlock tokens were locked to the current CID?
If you change CID you need a new unlock token?
That is how my phone worked

It's worth a shot. If it doesn't work, I don't see any way out. He can't run the RUU, he can't boot up, and he can't unlock. There might be some low-level fix via Linux. Try the unbricking Evita thread.

I changed my cid to supercid a few weeks ago. I didn't realize that I needed to copy it down somewhere so I could re-enter it when needed, which is now!! how do I find the original cid number so I can update to the new htc download that came today? I tried flashing it earlier today and it said I had the wrong CID number. I know its suppose to be HTC_*** but that's what I don't know. I have k2_cl with s-off.
