[Q] Hello, I need help.

Good day everyone, I'm a noob, lol..
A good friend of mine told me of this site and so i decided to join...
Ok, so I just got a new android phone about a month ago and am having trouble personalizing it..
I was told to root the phone that way i have better access to things and could also change the color and icons on my taskbar... Can anyone please help me root this phone? Again, i am new to this and actually, this is my first android phone ever... I have an at&t LG THRIVE (pay as you go phone)

Root Inquiries for Budget Tablet

Hey guys, My mother bought my son a tablet for his Bday and im wanting to root it for him but cant find much info on this brand.
It is a = Audiosonic C22, Android 4.1.1, CPU= Rockchip- RK2928- 1Ghz, RAM= 1gbDDR, GPU= MALI-400mp Dual Core, 16gb storage...
Im wanting to know what method i can use to root it with, Also wanting to know what the highest firmware i can put on it is, and how i would install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If possible please direct me to step by step walk through or something similar.

No good mate, i tried towel root but i was unsuccessful. please guys does anyone else any other ways i can possibly get this thing rooted ?

I have also this tab but the problm is not turning on and i want a better os or custom rom like 7.1.1 lineage

You'll have to develop it for yourself then because there are no developers that are interested in your device, developers only develop for devices they own, if you like using custom ROMs then you need to but devices that developers would actually own. I can tell you that real developers aren't interested in cheap MTK or Rockchip devices.

[Completed] [Q] Rooting Google Nexus 4 running on Android Lollypop v5.0.1

Hey everyone, I am a newbie to rooting android devices.
I have a Nexus 4 which when I bought it came with Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and now its working on Android Lollypop 5.0.1.
I want to root my Nexus 4 but I don't know where should I start and how to go about the process successfully and without any errors (I don't wanna make the device useless in the process of rooting it). Can someone please help me with this ?
I looked for rooting instructions on this site but I am not familiar with many of the terminologies used on that page !

You can ask for help in the thread you already linked in your post.
But really, you should read it once, twice and three times. No one can do it for you, and you'll only have the steps repeated to you.
If you are stuck on a certain step... Ask for help in that root guide. ?

[Completed] [Q] TWRP Recovery Manager:

In the TRWP installation my phone is not listed . I have a lg f70 d315 from straight talk and can't find any info anywhere for the closest equivalent phone to list for my device in the twrp app. I was told to download this app as this would work, and even got the paid version to get the most out of it for the extra features . Does anyone have any experience with this . I would really like to get this going to see what I can do with the app. My phone is rooted and I've got 4.4.2 KitKat. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks dano5990.

+1 for this, already tried pretty much every program and rooting exploit available, nothing seems to be working...
I guess we'll have to wait for someone to port a custom recovery to the P8 Lite.
