[Q] logging in to download apps - General Questions and Answers

Why do some free android apps require that you log in to Google to download them and some do not (like Opera browser and some others for example?)
Is it possible to download without logging in, which is sometimes inconvenient?
What about Windows-based OS? Do they support downloading apps without logging into any accounts?
Thank you.

[Q] Accessing Android Market

Is there any way to retrieve and download applications without using Market App?
I want to develop a new application that directly search and download applications.
Thanks.

Setting browser proxy on non-rooted Android

I am planning to develop an app which will proxy the web pages viewed by the user in the browser on Android. From reading on teh web I understand that in current Android versions it is impossible to run an app that will get ALL the HTTP requests from all the apps and proxy them, without roting the phone.
But if I only want the HTTP traffic from the browser to go through my app, not from any generic app, can I do that without rooting the phone? It is important that everyday users will be able to download the app from the Market and run it without root

DirectLink-new App that allows Access to all Your installed apps in one List and URL

Don't the have time for searching apps in your phone Or URL's in your browser?
Well now you have all in One Application!
All you need to do is just pick.
The application allows access to all the apps you have on your device, and allows you to add URL links that will automatically be saved when you exit from the device and shall thus be able to enter directly.
DirectLink on Google Play - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.directlink

Paralell Space Alternative

I've been using Paralell Space to clone apps and multiple accounts but there's a problem.
I need to use incognito install, because i don't want the installed apps to be visible on app drawer but Paralell Space incognito mode is not working(compatibility with android 7.x??).
Whenever i search an app, i get no results. If i instal via playstore, clone and then uninstall, apps get removed from Paralell Space too.
Anyone knows a similar app that have this requiriments:
- Incognito/Hidden install apps
- Use a password or fingerprint to access app, like Paralell Space
So far i've found a lot of similar apps, but always missing one of those requiriments. Or have incognito install and no security options, or have security options and no incognito install.

How To Guide De-Google Moto G Stylus 5G without rooting.

I was able to De-Google my Moto G Stylus 5G without rooting!!!
It's easier than you think.
Disclaimer: I did keep the Youtube app, but I don't sign in.
This guide is base on setting up a new unlocked phone purchased from Motorola's website.

If you have an old phone laying around try to backup any paid app unlockers apks you have. (Some do carry over if you change your e-mail address on their websites ie. Nova launcher 7)
1) I would recommend setting up a private activesync mail account. (doesn't make sense to de-google if you sign into everything with a gmail address). I recommend an IONOS business mail account with your personal domain. BACKUP YOUR CONTACTS/CALENDAR to your ActiveSync account.
2) On first setup. Click no to everything that would require data moving from your phone to the internet, and don't sign into anything. ie cloud services, analytics, play store, even wifi access. We'll get to that later.
3) Once you get through all the setup gobbledee-gook, reboot the phone to let the settings initialize properly.
4) Open up the web browser (using you cellular data), and download APKpure and F-droid.
https://apkpure.com/
F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository
F-Droid is an installable catalogue of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform. The client makes it easy to browse, install, and keep track of updates on your device.
f-droid.org
Go ahead and allow installing from chrome browser. It's ok, we'll get rid of it soon enough. lol
5) Once apkpure and f-droid are installed, You can now start uninstalling and disabling all the Goolag junk on your phone. Setting/Apps&Notifications click "See All Apps", Go to each Google app click force stop, then uninstall (if uninstall is not an option.. Click Disable App). This includes exchange services. I use Blue Mail for my exchange service where my contacts and calendar reside.
6) Now you can finally sign into your WiFi and start installing from apkpure and f-droid. (Remember not to sign in with a gmail account)
There are a couple apps I found a little tricky setting up like Blue Mail ActivSync. If you need a tutorial on some of these, reply, and I'll help where time permits.
Enjoy your De-Goolag phone.
List of Apps I use:
Spyware monitor: TC Slim
Video: *****ute, Youtube (without signing in), Rumble, Lbry (Odysee)
SMS: PulseSMS (also has PC support and encryption)
E-Mail: Blue Mail (also has PC support)
Music: Vanilla Music with Vanilla plugins
Calendar: Simple Canendar
File Manager: Simple File Manager, and FX File Manager
Browser: Brave Browser
Launcher: Nova 7
Socials: Telegram X, Minds, Clouthub, Gab (Brave shortcut)
Keyboard: OpenBoard
Maps: Waze
Radio Streaming: VLC

Waze is owned by Google, and still uses the Google maps API. I recommend MAPS.ME for de-googled GPS.

I tried this and was not successful. I get constant messaging that ---- will not work without Google Play service. Did I miss something?
The next day every thing was working well. ??
