I didn't have problems with mine as well. Not in GB and not now (ICS) .
Could you specify your problem with your touch screen ?
Maybe you're misinterpreting a known function or your rom is faulty or your digitizer died.
One of these three is responsible.
Take a pick by ruling the rest of them out.

It's software, definitely. There is no reason why a dual-core couldn't handle a game like this. It's just incredibly laggy Sense and bull**** bloatware. Can't wait for S-Off.

Do you have a sensation ,or are u just a troll, sensation is not even close to laggy, I had some issues called in for replacement and the phone I had seemed like it fixed itself , the replacement is smooth as babys bottom and I'm sorry but sense Is ten times better than any other launcher ....and I had them all
install new OTA update and TADA sense is very fast!
OP happened to find game which clearly isnt made properly for adreno or new cpu's.
try dungeon defenders for example.. it runs VERY smooth even though its probably one of the most advanced and heavy load games.
i can speak aboin mine and my friends unbranded : none of these problems. probably a simple cry issue above. do u even own a sensation ?

These problems that mentioned above are real. I mean how don't you see related threads by now?
Unresponsiveness which includes lockscreen issue appears after sometime. This my second unit and it semms to appear again. Being your not having right now doesn't mean there isn't.

Agree entirely. Those who haven't witnessed these bugs yet are just downright lucky.
My phone freezes all the time - to the extent that it sometimes takes me more than 30 seconds to hang up a call (since the screen locks and then you can't unlock it... and then it's this whole embarrassing ordeal of power on power off).
Every single time I press home ( which is pretty much the only way to go back - since the back button is pretty much completely unresponsive) - I get the HTC white screen & then loading for 30 seconds.
This phone is slower than my Nexus One. I really feel like I have gone down a notch instead of up.
Sorry to hear of all the troubles with the Sensation. I had to go thru 3 other units before I found one that worked well. I am on my 4th Sensation 4G now. This one seems to be free from the issues mentioned. The 1st one had the lockscreen not responsive issue and also the build quality of the case to the phone was squeaky after 2 weeks of use. The 2nd one had a poor screen. The widgets would have static lines running horizontally thru it. The 3rd one had an overly recessed power button and loose volume button. The 4th was the good one. Thus far its worked well with no major issues. There have been a couple times of quick HTC reboots, but that's bout it. I can live with mild reboots due to low memories.

Just a curious question for developers. If the Optimus 2X gets ICS and the G2X does not can you still use the 2X drivers for the G2X to get hardware acceleration working? Thanks!

Or the o2x from what I've read it is blobs full HWA would make things a lot smoother and ALOT quicker, I notice lag all over the place scrolling isn't smooth, and rotating the phone takes a while too. If we had full HWA this thing would fly!!

Very true. Since Nvidia wont release the drivers, we have to wait till an official ICS ROM to get it working smoothly. Then it can be ported and bloatware removed and optimized for us.
Ah, I miss my Vibrant and how great its ICS must taste.

Yeah I agree after playing with an old Captivate with ics and hw acceleration working I can defiantly say we don't have full functioning hw acceleration yet can't wait tho!
Pin it to Win it.
Hwacceleration is only half ass working through work around patches. Thus the Hal issues with video decoding and many ics apps like browser for instance. If o2x gets it I'm sure we can get it fully working.

There arent any ICS roms for the G2x/LG 2x that support HWA. Until LG releases there version of ICS we will not have video recording

The video recording doesn't work because the G2x doesn't have official/correct drivers for ICS, therefore things like video recording and actual hardware acceleration don't work. What we have is a work around that is almost as good as the actual hardware acceleration, but its not the real thing.

On the 2nd ice leak I am experiencing touch screen response lag which is really annoying. When I slide over the screen I have to slide about a 1/4 inch in order to get the response. Has anyone else experienced this? I was thinking about doing a factory reset but I wanted to see if there is any other easy way since I have already installed all the apps. I don't prefer to go back to 1st leak since I have good battery life with the 2nd one. I am also hesitant to try any custom roms currently.
Also, I can't upload any screenshots to the posts through xda app. It says that the JPEG has incorrect file extension. Any advice?

I don't think this is prevalent problem, many users have reported to opposite. Maybe a small oversight on your part?
To op, when first moving to ics, Ive always thought an Odin to stock first was best. Maybe dark side, Odin stock, dark side and then flash modem, and thrn a ucld2 based rom? That may work to alleviate any problems
If anything.... My responsiveness is a little too good. Your problem sounds like a bad flash.
I flashed directly from 1st to 2nd leak. Should I have gone to stock gb first?

I have the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy s2 i9100 its in the ICS. All the ICS rom's I tried all have that issue(scrolling lag) specially on scrolling widgets
I was able to get the touch response back. Here is what I did
1. Backup call log, contacts, message log, settings, preferences and network settings on kies
2. Factory reset
3. No lag in touch response.
4. Restored everything back from step 1 and found lag in response
5. Factory reset again.
6. Only restored everything back from step 1 except preferences and settings
7. No lag in touch response anymore.
Seems like restoring settings and preferences was bugging up something. However, one thing noticed in ics is the app drawer has better touch response compared to the home screens.
I am currently using Nova launcher and working great.

No, I'm back to CM7. I tried out different ICS roms the past few months, but never found one that was reliable enough for me. Plus it's hard to give up the 720p video when you've got young kids.
Cm is aosp based...I had a period where mine was less responsive and sticking down, think I got some sand in it from the beach, just kept using it though...it seems to work fine now, though the button is recessed lower than my wifes...and am using a sense based rom

oops, I read aosp as aokp, my bad.
But it seems like a physical problem more than a software one. If I press down hard it registers the click, but I'm worried I'll wear out the mechanism.

Hey guys , so i bought an HTC One S (S4) , and i realized that the capacitive buttons are a bit laggy , i don't know how to explain this .. but when i for example click back or home the action itself is done after like half a second .. i had the S3 version , and i didn't notice this on that one !! is it that a normal thing ? is it Sense ?? or is there something wrong with the device ?
P.S Running stock ROM !
Mine is and always has been instantly responsive from the capacitive buttons on stock and custom roms. It's the s4 as well. Not sure what would cause that.
