already tried that with no luck, it doesn't mount data :-S
You could try Rom manager from the play store but you might have to flash cwm recovery if you want to use it are you using a custom recovery?

Hi guys,
I want to know if there is any way to enter the clockworkrecovery from the recovery console. I tried doing this but get an error that the zip is not signed. I want to flash roms on my phone.
I also came accross androidcommander, but don't know how to use it. Please help.

What custom ROM? I hope you aren't trying to flash a i9000 ROM onto this.
Nope, I came across an HTC sense and some i9000 live wallpapers and to install them we need to flash their zip files from the recovery mode. The 3e recovery mode performs sign check and that's an head ache. Every time the update.zip fails to install.
Use adb or root explorer or any file manager with root access and having ability for mounting system partition.

I have made a topic here asking for help to port ClockworkMod Recovery to our phone. Which version (phone) of ClockworkMod is giving you this error? Will you please link me to it?

How did you install cm9? You obviously have root, I wouldn't play to much without a backup! Do you have latest cmw? If it wont work you could check out Amonra recovery, I use cmw so I can't tell you much about it. There are many threads here that will though.

its because rom manager does not support rom for our phone
You have to download a custom rom and flash it via odin or cwm

You said when you boot, CWM starts. Are you sure its CWM or just stock recovery?
Same thing happened to my phone. I tried flashing a custom ROM but it didn't work. I took it to the service center and they re-installed the software. It happened while doing something related to root. Has the device been rooted? Also, is the device the S - 7500 or 7500L/W. Because I have the international S - 7500 version and I installed the file for the L version then this problem occured. So I suggest you take it to the official Samsung service center. But beware, if the device is rooted that means the warranty has been voided and you will most probably have to pay.

To flash a custom ROM :
1. CWM recovery
2. Apply update from SD card
3. Locate the zip file
4. Select the zip
5. Allow it to flash
6. After flashing is complete reboot the device.
I suggest trying the Atomblast ROM which I am currently using

This may also be the bootloop that occurs when the official software update is installed when the phone is rooted/CWM recovery is installed.
My son root this phone & this is international phone S-7500
so its means this phone is damage now ??
plz confirm
thx

Try flashing the Atomblast ROM. Link and instructions in my earlier post. If that does not work, you will have to take it to the service center. I know from experience

What happened is he tried to flash an update on a modded phone. Had he done his proper research he would have know not to do this as once you flash your phone you lose the ability to do system updates. Copy a rom to the SD card and flash it. That should get home working again

This happened to my friend too. I tried flashing two ROMs and it successfully installs but it still boots into recovery. Can anyone help? Odin isn't detecting it either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, guys

Are you fully wiping before install? Wiping both system and data and then factory reset and install rom

I did that, man. Wiped it a million times and tried flashing the same. Any suggestions? I'd flash stock but Odin isn't recognizing the phone. Any suggestions?
EDIT- I managed to revert to stock. Odin recognized the device.
OK so I'm new to XDA flashing roms, etc (aka a newb). I'm attempting to flash a custom rom on my rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 using TWRP recovery. I keep getting a failed message when attempting to flash. Any advice on how to proceed would be HIGHLY appreciated!!
Download the file again on your computer. Transfer file to SD card via card reader/writer

It is. I keep getting a "no MD5 file not found" message
Make sure you're on the latest version of TWRP. I believe it ends in ".1".
Otherwise just use CWM instead. You can install that with a free app called Flashify very easily.

Easiest way is to restore with odin
then using Casual All in one
Root, Flash Insecure aboot
go to google play download Rom manager then install CWM
or try just download rom manager then install CWM replace TWRP
Problem is I'm still in TWRP recovery, as I've been unsuccessful with flashing any ROM (so far). Do I need to have an operating system installed in order to install CWM?
