After seeing some comments posted in certain threads I thought that it would be a good idea to post a thank-you "note" on the forums thanking all devs and helpfull people working on this already great device to make it even better.
I bought the one x knowing it to be able powerfull device but once I got it I pretty much satisfied with it except all the bloat att put on it and even worse there was no way to get it off. So that began my journey looking for a way to free my device from its useless load and I happened to have stumbled upon xda-developers just at the right time when xfactor was being released. I Immediately rooted via the help of all the wonderful folks on these forums. A few days later I installed viper xl and was blown away by the level of customizability of the Rom. Later I installed beastmode and overclocked up to 1.8 ghz. Now I had my dream machine....no bloat ,blazing fast, super stable.:thumbup:. There have been a few ups and downs and "oh what do I do now. I hope I haven't bricked my phone" moments but it always turned out ok and now I have a setup I'll never want to get rid of. I don't have any money to donate to anyone, but if I did I would, because it all happened because of them. Anyway typing this llong of a message on the phone is a pain so let me end it here. Thanks guys keep up the work.

Yea some good and knowledgeable people reside here. I hardly ever see negative attitude, never a flame. Browse around other phone forums.. There's some real DB's if you know what I mean.

Makes me miss the old hero days I remember having so many questions I never felt scared to ask I even posted in dev section no one flamed me or even mentioned it they just helped thinking of xda then and looking at xda now

Only people who get flamed around here are those who refuse to do their own reading and research, or who flash international roms when they should know better.

Why you get short/one word answers! (The Long Answer) - This explains the reason you sometimes get answers you don't feel are complete or specific enough. The reason people say search, instead of just giving you the answer outright.
A Plead to the members of XDA, is a very well written plead for us all to just get along. (Which I totally agree with.)
I am begging each and every person to PLEASE read these post in their entirety. If we do, I really feel this can be a much friendlier place to hang out. We are all trying to accomplish the same thing. Just use common sense so that we don't frustrate the few people we have left here to help us. I am sorry if anyone takes offense to this. I just wish we could all be on the same page. There are some great, much smarter people here then me. I would really like to learn from them and not turn them off to helping us out.

Very much agreed. Only thing is the search feature does not work as well as people would like you to believe. Many times I don't even get anything close to what I'm searching for. Just throwing that out there, not to freak on people when they say they search and can't find nothing.

I can agree to this from experience, sometimes it doesnt give you any results to what your looking for. BUT maybe re-wording the search will help a little.

i want to know what the best rom is for the mytouch 4g slide that runs good and has good battery life and does not need sense but if it has it then thanks

There's not that much activity (read: new dev threads), so maybe the imposition won't be so bad.

That's all well and good, but I don't own this device... so I'm never in here "just browsing", sorry .
I have my sensation overclocked to 1.566 with a stock kernel.and I'm getting terrible battery time.If I installed a faux kernel that maxed out to 1.73 GHz would I benefit from it or do I want a kernel that maxed out lower?would a faux 005,123,etc be a good choice? Thanks...

It's quite clear that this member is trolling (read as being a ******).
I have reported him again, and this time, I hope the mod will do away with his account! It is annoying to see so many useless threads on here!
You need to get set CPU and make a screen off profile. Turn you CPU down to 194 min and 384 Max when the screen is off. Then make another profile with CPU turned up all the way whenever the phone is charging. Then put the normal CPU setting at 1188 when the phone is not charging. You should be alright then. I think all sensations get poor battery life.

Ok, not related to the thread question but the OP.
I've seen him in multiple threads but after just looking at his post rate and new threads I'm frigging amazed.
Maybe he's just a completely stupid noob ( rules prevent me from a different adjective ) or he needs to get off these forums for good.

There are many posts about this. I've tried every single sense and cyanogen rom. So far what i can tell is that every rom has it's advantage and disadvantage. Iam using ICE DS rom and my opinion is that this rom is an allrounder! Pretty batterylife, good gaming, fast internet, Nice multitasking. Just try the roms and pick the best One that fits you!
