Does anyone know if there is a possibility for the multiscreen feature from the note and sgs3 is portable to the samsung galaxy tab 2 or is this something that will come in 4.1.2?

You can get a paid software from market namely "split screen multi screen".
Enjoy.

Hello, thanks for the suggested app but it is not as good as the note 2 multiscreen.
Samsung should add this feature to the tab 2.

Had this changed on any of the new roms? It's the only a note feature?
I'm interested in this feature as well. Galaxy Tab 2's are going super cheap right now. Otherwise i was going to get a note.
The multiscreen view is available in PAC-Rom's latest test build. Long-pressing an app in the "Recents" view allows you to add the app to split view. It is a little glitchy at this point (Some apps open in split screen by default) but it works pretty well. PAC-rom also lets you choose "Floating mode" which opens the app over whatever you're working on.
This is just one more reason to root

Samsung does not seems to be interested in giving this to TAB2 now because TAB3 is out with MW. However, it is there in a custom ROM SungSonic HD.

You do have to make an account with Adi's forum to download it, though.
you should try sunsonic hd
Can't try sungsonic because the file host he uses blows bhdd and fails downloads at 106mb

So i need someone if can find me custom rom for this tablet, version can be anyone from 2.1 ~
this is the all info for the tablet - http://2.imimg.com/data2/YO/ND/MY-4396504/tablet-pc-simm-t700.pdf
Whatever you may use, either of the ROMs have their own qualities and defects. But one thing I have noticed: when using Rom Mannager app the battery gets emptied quicker. The difference might be of 2-3hours/day. I have tried this on my Galaxy Note and my Galaxy S2 and as well on my Galaxy S using diferent ROMs and experimental mofdified OS.

thanks for the reply, but my problem is, how to root this very tablet? :S
Hi Guys!
I Googled for days to find the S-Note APK for my CM9 phone but could not find it. I decided to switch to KingDroid and i extracted the APK.
However i do not know if this works on non-touchwiz roms, try it out to find out.
If anyone is interested in S-Memo reply here and i will upload that one as well.
I tried it out on my Samsung Galaxy S2 aswell running official ICS, it works perfectly however the app is created for Note screen size and there is screensize issues on Galaxy S2.
Enjoy Guys!
Code:
https://hotfile.com/dl/156977480/a2e51bf/com.sec.android.app.snotebook.apk.html
This requires TouchWiz, unfortunately.
Well then i hope it helps someone might even work on official gb

Have you fixed the screen size problem? Can you post the memo as well? =) thx~~~
how to install this?
if only someone can mod the SNote resolution from 1280x800 to 1280x720 to suit the Galaxy S3, it will be prefect.
S-Note needs TW framework, so it'll run only on stock-based ROMs, but, luckily there's few alternatives which are imho much better, esp. freenote and papyrus (infinite canvass size)

Can anyone upload default Photo Editor from stock ICS?

Not sure if you're asking or disagreeing, but both apps are more useful for me when it comes to making longer notes because freenote has a mode when handwritten letters are scaled down and put neatly at the top of page line after line, papyrus has unlimited scalable canvass which performs similar function - I'm able to fit much more text on the screen, compared to S-note, where I'm limited by the actual screen size

my s memo will not work on my note running Official ICS 4.0.4 I have no idea what to do. will this apk help
Screen size fix?
Anybody managed to fix the screen size issue yet?
Also, only the text tool is working for me.
I'm on Galaxy R.

Anyone figure out how to make s-memo work with the official ics
Thankx

alternative Apps
if I have a backup on Titanium Backup, can I restore my Memos from S-Note into another app?
I actually would just need one app. And I dont want to go back from Android 4.3.3
Will the SMemo work with Jelly Bean stock? I miss it so much and would appreciate it so much if you could upload it for us.
Thanks in advance

I would love to have the link to the S memo apk for Samsung galaxy grand

I have now Cyanogenmod 10.2, so I lost Samsung Apps, Touchwiz.... If I have to go back to the stock rom to have them, I prefer to keep Cyanogenmod, since I don't miss Samsung apps and TW.
I just miss the S Note. I am using other notes apps, but I have lost the access to my old notes (I keep the files). So, I am trying to install S Note, but I am not optimistic without TW, and I don't know if there is a method to recover the old S Notes from the files.
Hello everyone,
I am considering purchasing this tablet and had a quick question that i couldn't find the answer to. If you flash this tablet with a custom rom will it loose its s-pen functionality. (Pressure sensitivity for example)
Thanks
Android 4 and greater has native support for the pen including the pressure.
Pen works properly in the preview CM10
swyped from my Galaxy Note 10.1 with Tapatalk
Thanks for the response, sounds great!
Also, future versions of Android will natively support multiwindow multitasking so all apps will have that capability not just a limited few like today.

However you would lose all of the apps that are optimized for it (due to the TouchWiz removal), correct? Is that even a big deal? I seem to be reading that they're bad anyway.

Got a question.
I got the update for 4.1.2 on my 8013. Everything is sweet. But i thought we was suppose to get the ink effect feature like i have on my note II and also where can i change my toggle buttons? i know where all this is on my note II but have they left it off this one?
Thx Wicklet
Anyone know or was i missinformed? Bump
Looked it up its pretty cool but ultimatly not the end of the world if its missing

There are many features that note 2 has which for some reason Samsung has decided not to include in note 10.1 so nothing we can do
I have found an alternative on the forums that are flashable and do give you the ink effec, might want to give it a look see if it's something you are interested in.
Sent from my GT-N8000 using xda app-developers app
Is there any practical use for this feature?
For the ink effect not really other than being kinda neat. Something to show off what ur tablet can do that others cant. But i do like the option of being able to turn off and move my toggles around. Thats a handy feature. I just had read in a couple of places that these was in this update as well. So was just asking to see if i had missed them. Thx for the replies.
Any idea if there is a program that allows you to "float' more than 1 (handwriting capable) note on top of other programs?
S Note can only float a maximum of one note on screen at a time, and it's impossible to recall saved notes in floating form.
The only one I could find was this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803284

I'd suggest using (or trying) Snap Pad (free or ad-free).
It's not a floating note but rather a pad that comes out when you drag the snap region (that normally stays invisible).
So it can be opened and resized anytime (without having to launch it) and also while using other apps. It's also possible to adjust the pad's opacity and make it semi-transparent.
Pros
It's designed for the S-Pen (so supports pressure sensitivity and changing from pen to eraser with the button)
It's very simple
Cons
No Undo-Redo function
You have a single page to use

What do you mean?
I have downloaded it (I even have just decided to buy the ad-free version in GooglePlay) and it's fully working. I have a Gnote 10.1 (GT-N8000) - stock Rom.
Maybe there's some sort of conflict between the app installed and downloaded from SamsungApps and the new one offered by GooglePlay. In my case (to be sure) I uninstalled the previously app downloaded from SamsungApps before re-installing the one sold by GooglePlay.
One difference I see is that GooglePlay offers both versions (the "ad-free" and the paid one) whilst SamsungApps, at the moment, offers just the free version.
Re: Floating Notes ( > 1)
This is the adfree version and the free version says the same thing too. I'm running BaDaB!ing's rom with the N8013, 4.1.2 version.
Edit: I got it from the Samsung Apps store, and I have to say, this app is what I have been looking for lately. Thanks.

Re: Floating Notes ( > 1)
I downooaded the free version from google play this afternoon. I liked it a lot and got immediately the paid version. Both work like a charm on my 10.1.
It is a useful app that does not replace any other note taking tool. Probably not worth more than the dollar it costs, but still nice to have

I think the same
Its best side is its simplicity of use and its very "basic" functionality.
Anyway we could maybe ask the developer for something more (not much, just a little bit): something like undo/redo buttons, multiple pages, and (maybe) the possibility to manage more than one single note...

Yes... there's some lag for me too. Moreover if you use your finger to pull it out and it's not precisely placed on the pad's border it may happen than while pulling the pad out you leave some unwanted ink in the note
For me, it's one of the most important apps as I'm an avid notetaker (college). The best part is if a professor mentions something, I can just use the pad and write it down. The only thing I'm concerned about is how will it affect the battery life. Keeping the settings on "low" for 2 of the options (can't recall at the top of my head) makes it flow a little better.
The closest Floating note app, that I could find is cPaint (Cover Paint) (Floating Paint)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=coverpaint.ragingtools.com&hl=en
Pros:
4 notes
Transparency
Line thickness
Resize
Minimize
Color Selection
Cons:
No eraser (negates the usefulness of transparency feature)
No S-Pen pressure support
