Not my work but this ROM has promise. I really like the speed and smoothness. Like any new works it has a few bugs, but it's definitely worth a look.

About ICY-SMOKE...​I have been very interested in the porting of ROM's to other devices for a while now, and so i thought i would give it a go and see what i could port succesfully for my own use, but now i feel that 'ICY-SMOKE' is stable enough to be released for general consumption
'ICY-SMOKE' is ported from the newer 'MyTouch4G' android 2.3.4 release > 2.19.531.1
I have removed most T-Mobile specific app's , and i have also removed 99% of T-Mobile Pink icons, and decompiled the apk's and replaced the pink .png's within them as well

How to flash:
•Download ROM and place it on your SD card
•Boot your phone in recovery(at least version:4EXT.Recovery.Control_v2.1.4)
•Wipe date and factory reset
•In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
•Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of "Super Wipe" script
•Once again select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of ROM
•After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

Considering that NO non-gingerbread rom (ICS,JB) is for daily use I really welcome another gingerbread rom - thanks!

So, none of the latest ICS roms is for daily use??? A good one!
Except the low frame rate video recording in which other areas are they not suitable for daily use?

do one thing open zip file then check apk file is there or dont...

Apk was not in the zip and I took the messaging apk from sense 5 ex zip and transferred it to system/app and it worked

give to development / sd-ext and also give to data2sd and restart ... then we can give automatic installation location or wherever you prefer ...

Does the rom fit into cm7r2 OR even into Oxygen r2 hboot?
EDIT: It fits into Oxygen r2 hboot (100mb/5mb/332mb) only when you make it a little slimmer (remove \system\tts\lang_pico\ and maybe some files from \system\media\audio\).

Things I like:
+ FM Radio works
+ Fairly customizable interface, but not as much as CM itself.

Things I don't like:
- Its UI is that of a tablet's, no matter the dpi. e.g. in the email app, the navigation pane takes up half the screen. vertically!
- UI customization is hard to understand. I like CM's better.

Bugs I have found so far:
- Cannot enter Advanced WiFi settings
- Bluetooth doesn't work
- AOSP keyboard completely unstable, won't even start
- Occasional Trebuchet crashes a few minutes after first install. No longer occurs with regular use.
- Not really a bug, but in settings it says Desire HD instead of Inspire 4G. I used InspireMod 0.5
- If I try to install the stock jellybean camera/gallery app, the gallery works but the camera doesn't. The provided camera app is not as responsive.
- Torch is inoperable. This is a MUST fix please because I use this regularly, just like the camera.
Features I wish to see:
+ Swipe2Wake
+ Built-in FM radio (or at least implement Spirit FM into the ROM)
Other than that, I love this ROM!
Here is the keyboard I downloaded and copied to my SD card to install. It works perfectly:

WOW! That's the most detailed bug report! I love it! Will help a lot. For now I have ported Carbon ROM to the DHD/I4G. Wanna test it ?

This ROM does NOT include a built-in FM radio; however, you can acquire one from here: http://d-h.st/H4x

Screen Mirroring
Does this ROM support Miracast or any other sort of screen mirroring?
