Firstly - please don't open 5 identical threads for the same subject!
Secondly - the answers are out there, you just need to be bothered to search and do some reading first. You went ahead and did this to your phone because you couldn't be arsed to put the effort in and read properly first, so now you need to do more reading to get out of it. It is fairly simple and you CAN find the answers for yourself.

[Q] Need help

Hi All,
My name is Ron.
I'm trying to install CyanogenMod 6 but got into some trouble.
I did everything the instruction on wikipedia said.
I got a rooted G1.
First I installed the Radio for Non US
then I installed the danger_spl
Then I tried to install the CyanogenMod 6 and got a status 7 error i then installed the Amon_Ra Recovery but again got the status 7.
Anything I can do about that?
Any help will be appreciated,
Ron.
fail for posting it in the dev section. next time q&a please.
anyway:
hi ron:
you provide too few info. if you followed the tutorials around here straight, there shouldnt be any error. use fastboot wipe. clear everything and start again.
if you want us to help you better, then you have to post logcats or at least more info.
Hi,
I apologize for mistaking and posting on the wrong thread.
I will try to wipe and install again.
Thanks,
Ron.

Why are u posting same question everywhere??? I have already answered ur query in theme section. And one more thing that make a habit of reading before flashing anything. It will automatically reduce ur problems.
wheww... i dont understand why these past days a lot of newly registered members keep experimenting their phone without even an effort of understanding what they do or even just simply knowing simple how to's... after they acquired such problems, they kept creating new threads instead of reading. btw, not to brag but before i experimented with my fone, even b4 i registered to xda, i read a lot of stuffs before playing wid ma fone (cause i dont like being scolded by seniors too, btw, i salute father vishal and others, haha)...
whooow.. and sorry for d offtopic (b4 anyone flames)...
anyways, cheers... and stay relaxed, soldier :fingers-crossed::laugh:
Stop with this urgent thing. Everybody's problem is urgent. Don't try to get prvilages. Is your home burning down? Goood.. What is so urgent? Damn...

Hey,
I recently rooted my note 2 via some YouTube link.. Now for some reason I am still getting over the air updates and my recovery mode always goes into the Samsung recovery (only options are wipe data and some others.. The screen is black with a green android mascot )
However all the root apps are working.. So what do I do£
Do I install the update which has come over the airborne not?
Thanks for the help..
You should send us a link to the youtube link and you should get a rom off XDA, it works better and you get more support.
Hope it helps
What next

Have you even gone to the thread for your device and read there? That should be the first thing you do before you do anything on your phone. Following some youtube video then coming here for help is not very considerate. Also you provided no information.
Luckily for you. You have root access but you haven't installed a custom recovery yet. You need to do that next. Then install the rom of your choice. Look in the development section for your device and read the stickies. Good luck.

hi,
yes i did.. there was a video.. i watched a 100 of those before rooting the device .. so in the end i chose one which i thought i was the most comfortable with .
unfortunately this happened and now it has come notice that xda is the overlord of sorts in android .. at the time i didnt kow else i would have followed the xda guide..
hence i ask NOW WHAT.
should i unroot ?
my recovery goes into stock recovery and cwm or twer recovery doesnt work properly .. so hence my question was thus framed..
please give me a suggestion that you see fit

Dude. I just told you what to do. It sounds like you are already rooted so now you flash custom recovery and from there flash the rom of your choice.

I don't want to come across as unhelpful, but I couldn't find your device firmware on XDA. I can't help you with sites outside of XDA, but I can tell you it took me three clicks with Google Search to get to your phone's firmware (4.4.2 KitKat). Why don't you give it a try too?
Best of luck
