Alright I have an SEMC X10a running ICS and I've only used pics for a little while so I don't know around it as much as gb, point is I can't get the phone to just vibrate when I get a text. Any help?

I'm on jb so I don't remember if it's the same as ICS but open the messaging app, go in to settings, and there should be an option that says vibrate (in jb it's all the way at the bottom). Click on that

Hi all, I'm running the sky ics speed rom. Problem I'm having is whenever I go to type something it always reverts back to the stock keyboard no matter how many times I set the keyboard I want. Anybody else seen this problem?

Yes. Kind of annoying

Go to settings-applications-running services then find the sky ics keyboard process. Click on it. Click settings. Then it will display Swype and Ics keyboard. Right above those it will say input method., click that and select Swype. That's it.

As you see in the screenshot, I have a message notification and it is grey and hard to see outside in the sun. Normally, the icon is a nice bright white. Is there any way to fix this without root access?

Not if you want to keep the stock messages app. If you root their are obvious answers like AOKP, you can change the notification color and transparency settings. Un-rooted you can download a third party texting app. GOsms offers different color notification colors for the messages. It isn't transparency, but it'll still make it a little easier to see.

Ok, thanks. Do you think this might be changed in the Jelly Bean update?

Just want to get people's opinions on what they think is the best text messaging app for this phone and why. Thanks for your input.

Go SMS, love stock as well and if the group text function worked I'd probably use that instead.
In the end it's all preference, try them all out and see which one you like best.

I've tried them all and keep returning to go sms. Great themes too

I use Go SMS. I found that Go and Handcent functioned pretty much the same for me, only Go has a 'send later' option that didn't exist in the last version of Handcent that I tried.
I was using Go SMS but then i started using stock after getting the inverted gapps.
Stock TW for me.

Definitely Go SMS Pro. Well worth it in the long run, but plan on spending an initial hour or so getting it set up just right... and then you're golden.
what I miss, and I wish someone would come out with is the app from my droidx that had EVERYTHING in it. SMS, MMS, emails (exchange, and pop3), facebook messages, etc.. all in one app.
there isn't anything like that is there?

This is new Chronus clock released recently. It will work on both home screen and lock screen.
To access the settings find chronus in app drawer.
It may be required to readjust the widget size in order to display weather. Drag the widget from widget drawer on home screen.

Not sure why but I can find the settings for this. It just makes a clock widget. I tried resizing. Does it matter that I changed my screen density to 213? There is no settings app in the app drawer.

Hi all guys, fantastic widget.. Exactly what I was looking for... I'm running latest Android Revolution HD on my Gnex, everything works (via normal installation or via system/app installation)..
BUT in lockscreen I get the info about weather or events ONLY if I pull down the widget itselt. Is there any way to get the info showing directly when I turn on the screen??
This is pretty cool. I downloaded the 1/3 version before Scott integrated it in his 1/14 build of CM10.1
One question though, the OP has five shortcut buttons within Chronus and I was wondering how he was able to enable this because it's in the Chronus settings from 1/3 (or in Scott's build)
I did see that Quinny899 posted that other features in the screenshots might be something that has to do more with PA than Chronus, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't blind (wouldn't be the first time) and missed something.
Cool widget though for sure. Thanks!
It doesn't work for 4.1 right? I checked for 4.2 and it does.

I'll give it a go and report.
I get parse error when opening apk. 4.2 works great.

Is there a lockscreen app that mimics the Sammy lockscreen? I love the swipe anywhere thing and the swipe for notifications. (like how the message notification shows up and you swipe from that to open the message) I'm using the circles lockscreen on aokp but it doesn't have the notifications.

Widgetlocker is the closest. Maybe go locker haven't used go locker in a coons age but widget locker is pretty tight
Alright, might give it a try. For sure won't use go locker, the only good thing go put out was messaging but it doesn't beat stock. Thanks for the reply.
