right now i'm trying to develop my personal ROM for my htc.
I have heard many things about having odexed/deodexed apps, and I was wondering, is it possible to have some apps odexed and some other deodexed?
What I was thinking was to deodexed some apps (systemUI, rosie, framework-res.apk etc) for theming purposes, and to leave the rest odexed.
Is that possible?
Yes, you can deodex just some apps and leave the others intact.

I tried to deodex the rooted stock Rom that Attn1 posted but it failed on a couple of files, namely the all important framework. Would someone mind tackling this for me?

Anyone have deodex stock 4.0.3?
I am looking for the same thing. Saw some links on the boards; however, those were dead links. Anyone have just a simple stock deodexed /zip aligned without mods or tweaks?
Are you looking for the 4.0.3 ROM specifically? I posted a deodexed version yesterday of the NS4G 4.0.4 ROM.
It appears that there has been some difficulty getting the ICS ROMs to deodex properly without resorting to deodexing manually. (As far as I've seen, they'll install and run properly, but will produce errors when decompiling). If there is enough interest for it, I can work on it, but since I don't have an automated script to help, it's a bit time consuming. However, if you're just looking for particular apps, you can extract the ones in the link above and install them.

After a VERY long medical hiatus I am looking to do some Dev'ing again. So, as the title says, I am looking for a download of the latest stock apks, already deodexed. Don't want it to be flashable, just want the apps. Thank you in advance.

I have a Galaxy S6 SM-G920F running Lollipop 5.1.1 and want to download Xposed. I found I need a deodexed ROM. However i want to keep my stock touchwiz untouched since I'm used to it.
I can't find a ROM like this, does anyone know of one? Not counting the Xtre Stock rom that's been debloated a little too much.
Also I read you can deodex from titanium backup but I don't want to ruin my phone even though I have backups. If my phone was deodexed, wouldn't apps I download from the Play Store give me odexed apps? Meaning I'd have to keep deodexing apps? (probably a stupid question but hopefully someone can clear up the confusion)*
