Hi guys,
I tried rooting my phone today but am running into a problem. I got clockworkmod to install just fine. And I tried to root it with root-stock.zip. But when my phone reboots I get the white Samsung letters and then it goes to the Samsung Exhibit screen. Then it just hangs there, for like two minutes. Then the phone will reboot itself and go through the whole process again.
Anyone know how I can get out of this?
I guess there are reflash to stock methods out there but I've only found them for Windows, i'm on Linux...
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
The .zip file might me corrupted.
So the phone got stuck at the bootloop.
I had the same exprience before.
IDK linux related stuff.
Find a Windows system the carry on with flashing stock rom.

Hello, I recently downloaded ROMToolbox and changed the boot animation for my phone. I downloaded the dancing banana(lol) but when i restarted my phone it got stuck on the screen displaying the model number and is vibrating as if something is force closing. My phone is a Samsung Conquer 4g SPH-D600. It is running on stock rom. I've heard about using RSDlite, but I am not sure if it is compatible with my phone. If it is compatible with my phone could someone please tell me how to use it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hey all, so today my CM10 Galaxy S3 ran out of battery and when I turned it on my IMEI was set to 0; I wasn't too worried as I had made a backup and I attempted to restore it using the method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791291
However, that did not work and I saw that many people had only had it worked using a stock rooted phone so I attempted to Odin my phone back to stock using the method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709
Odin was successful but when I booted the phone was stuck at the Verizon 4G LTE pulsing loading screen (not frozen, continuously playing the animation) and nothing happened for about 10 minutes; I tried a battery pull and it was stuck again. Any ideas as to what I should do next?
Edit: For all having a similar problem: Factory reset through recovery and it booted up just fine, did restore IMEI using the method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801997 but I am still having persistent roaming issues. The dev is great and is currently figuring out how to fix the roaming issue =D
I'm no expert but you can try to flash again your phone to stock root and then try this method

Good luck

Hi all,
My phone has a boot loop problem, and I don't know why would that happen. Previously the phone had been successfully rooted, and installed stock ROM XXKPQ. After that, a month later suddenly the phone went off and continuously doing bootloop cycle. I tried to flash using odin 1.85, to others stock ROM and found no results. The phone keep on boot looping. Is it software issue or hardware issue?
Hope that somebody could reach me to solve this.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Did you try a factory reset from your recovery mode?
Hey everyone. I've already tried flashing my OnePlus but it still only gets to the point where it just flashes black and white after reboot. I tried everything I could think of. I use to be able to use a droid kit that was on here but it doesnt seem like the guy running it updated it for a while. I need help. Please and thank you.
What happened that caused it

It was up and running and I decided to try to upgrade it to cyanogen 13. Didn't flash correctly, decided to factory reset it from the recovery and then it died. Yesterday tho after some tinkering, I was able reload recovery but when I tried flashing cyanogen again (diff file this time) it finishes but never fully boots. I get the logo and all and it just sits there.
