Can you try it and leave a comment ?
Sorry for my English.
Thank you, Laurent.
If you tried it, please let me know.
Thank you, Laurent. :cyclops:

Ive tested your game and it looks great. Some points i noticed:
-Concept: ok its a basketball game, simple and fun, nothing much to say about it
-Gameplay: i'm not a big fan of using accelerometers to move the alien, i prefer a simple joystick, but thats my point of view.
-Desing: you chose a very original theme for your app, making me think about the 80s. There are a lot of colors and sometimes i have trouble in distinguishing every element of menus but thats not a big deal.
Good luck,

To optimize the lifespan of the batteries
When to reload the batteries? Should a complete discharge be awaited? Does a complete discharge have for effect "to restore", or "to repair", a battery which would lose in autonomy?
The answers to these frequent questions depend on the type of battery considered.
- various batteries and accumulators
Let us retain three families of batteries:
- Nor-Cd (Nickel and Cadmium);
- Nor-Mh (Nickel and Metal-Hydride);
- the Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Polymer.
The three are not subjected to the same rules of use and maintenance. The batteries with lithium have one lifespan (often) more reduced but are of a less constraining maintenance. Nor-Cd are most complex to maintain, but propose the longest lifespan (a number of complete cycles), with the proviso of respecting the constraints of use, while Nor-Mh an interval proposes.
- Of the two "ratchet effects"
The batteries Nor-Cd and Nor-Mh are, both, subjected so that one calls, in the majority of the situations wrongly, the ratchet effect. There exists, indeed, two ratchet effects.
The first case, extremely rare, is that in which a battery ' souvient' of the moment (level of load) to which the user is proceeded systematically to a refill. Thus, ' habituée' with being reloaded on this very precise level, the battery can refuse to function beyond: it memorized a threshold. It is a phenomenon far from frequent, with which researchers of NASA were confronted. The commun run of the users will never manage to reload systematically its battery Nor-Cd or Nor-Mh on the same level of discharge, and this with sufficiently of precision to be confronted with this situation.
The second ratchet effect, sometimes qualified "false ratchet effect", is most current. The "false ratchet effect" is defined as "the crystalline material formation causing [ one ] loss of capacity". In other words, it acts of a chemical phenomenon, caused by electric overloads, which involves an apparent loss of endurance of the battery concerned. To avoid it, it is advisable never not to leave a battery in overload and to proceed, punctually (but not systematically) with complete discharges of the battery (see low).
It is important to note that the batteries Nor-Mh are exposed to the ratchet effect as well as Nor-Cd: most recent Nor-Mh had like commercial argument not to be exposed to this nuisance. Actually, the phenomenon is less sensitive for Nor-Mh for a simple reason: they have one lifespan, by nature, shorter, so that the effect of memory appears at the end of ' the life naturelle'.
The batteries Nor-Cd and Nor-Mh, very widespread, must thus be the subject of precise rules of use (which are worth more for Nor-Cd, therefore).
- maintenance of the batteries Nor-Cd and Nor-Mh: myths and realities
It is an extremely widespread commonplace: the idea according to which it is necessary to await a complete discharge of the batteries Nor-Mh or Nor-Cd before proceeding to a refill... This idea is largely false: it is rather advisable to carry out complete discharges in a specific way, but not systematically. Canadian professionals observed that the complete and systematic discharges had harmful effects resulting in a loss of endurance.
If it is not imperative systematically to carry out a complete discharge of the batteries, it can sometimes be necessary to operate major discharges in a specific way, making it possible to fight against the "false ratchet effect", by reversing the chemical reaction described above. It is thus possible "to restore" a battery victim of crystallization... But this method supposes to have an ad hoc material. Why can't one use the electronic instrument profiting from the batteries to discharge these last? For a simple reason...
The majority of the electronic instruments stop functioning since the batteries do not provide any more the good power. However it is exactly what occurs with a battery victim of the false ratchet effect: the crystallized part does not make it possible to obtain a voltage as important as the intact part. There is thus a fall of tension. Indeed, if the battery could provide 1,2v when it was intact, as soon as it will reach the threshold from which nickel ' cristallisé' enters in action, the current is lower (for example with 1,02v). The electronic instrument will immediately cease functioning, giving the illusion that the battery lost in capacity; actually, the battery is able always to function. Many users replace the battery in load then, longer than usually: the phenomenon of crystallization worsens, and the battery is less and less powerful.
The solution then consists in discharging the battery completely... But that cannot be done with the electronic instrument, since this one stops functioning since the battery does not deliver sufficiently any more of electric tension. It is, so imperative to use an electronic equipment of discharge and to strictly control this discharge: one speaks then about major discharge.
- the tidal wave Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Ion-Polymer
Since a few tens of month, the batteries Lithium-Ion, before used almost exclusively on the portable computers, made their appearance on electronic instruments of very reduced format: Mobile PDA and telephones in particular. The iPod also has a battery Lion-Ion-Polymer.
These batteries have the advantage of not being subjected to "the ratchet effect" of the fact, in particular, of the best held of lithium vis-a-vis with the problem of crystallization; the user is thus freed from the traditional rules: it is indeed useless (even bad) to carry out periodic major discharges. However, the overloads, if they are theoretically less dangerous, are to be avoided. In fact, it is preferable to proceed to short daily loads of a few minutes, and this so as to reduce the number of complete cycles of refill.
Let us conclude on wisdom from the Support service from Handspring: "to frequently proceed to partial loads the optimal effectiveness of any aircraft equipped with a battery lithium-ion ensures."
That it is said!

- les Ni-Cd (Nickel et Cadmium) ;
- les Ni-Mh (Nickel et Metal-Hydrure) ;

Hi !
I want know if there are any solutions to make my Leo with Igo 8 in my pocket when i ride (i can't because when the screen is lock, gps doesn't work)... And the voice explain me witch road i take....
Thanks for your help !
Sorry for my english, now in french !
Bonjour,
I use one of these small rechargeable 3600mAh batteries, connect using the USB charging sync lead that came with the HD2, the screen will then stay alive when running iGO.
I wrote a review of how I used the larger 5400mAh rechargeable battery from the same company fitted to my previous Yamaha R1 so I could use sat nav on my HTC Diamond, and also hear speed camera warnings through a helmet bluetooth set, the same principles can be applied to the HD2, find the review here.
Ok, it's an idea ! But i've got an Kawasaki ER6-N and no front protect so i want put my leo i my pocket and lisen the GPS voice with the headspeaker. So, there are any solution to make the GPS avalable when the screen is locked ?
Thx !
Why dont you leave the screen unlocked?
You can change the power settings so the screen won't turn off even if you're not plugged in.
GPS + Motorbike + Pocket is a very old problem.
Unfortunately it seems that most GPS manufacturer totally forgot the bikers. We don't need the screen, on the contrary we need to turn it off.
Why can't they understand ?
I'm dreaming of a "Motorbike Mode" on some GPS (more voice, less screen).
try this guys: http://w1.ozone.mine.nu/default.asp?c=index_lj
What it is. LightJacker is an universal program launcher that keeps the display backlight from turning off. It was made with TomTom in mind (and its endemic backlight problems), but it should work with any application, game, GPS navigation software, and so on.
Advantages. LightJacker is better than other apps that do the same thing, because:
•it doesn't require installation, it is stand-alone
•it doesn't install any boot-start program that will slow down your phone
•it is a native program, not requiring you to install the .NET framework, Mortscript or other runtimes
•it doesn't require to be started before the target application and to be closed afterwards
•when you are not using the target application, the screen will turn off as usual instead of staying lighted permanently
•it doesn't mess with your personal phone's settings such as backlight or power saving settings
•in fact, LightJacker doesn't touch your phone's operating system at all
•you don't have to place ugly icons in the Start menu, because LightJacker's .lnk file can have your app's icon
•it's lightweight, taking away only 13K of disk space

Bugsykoosh,
Thank you very much for the tip, but my understanding is that LightJacker keeps the display backlight from turning off.
What would be useful is if we can turn off the screen with the GPS still working in the background.
Bonjour,

I think i found a solution !!
I try tomorow morning and post a feedback...
Really interested in this too. Used to use my Touch HD in the tank pack under the map cover with headphones hooked up. Tried leaving the display on in the wide chest pocket, but when I took the HD out it displayed "Are you sure to dial this contact: emergency services?" That was when I shut it off.
A way to have the audio & Gps active only without touch functions would be perfect.
My solution
I tried a few in pocket solutions but ended up giving up. Found it was hard to navigate with audio only and also gps reception suxed.
Ended up making a custom phone mount on the handlebars of my motorbike.
Currently waiting on a basic phone holder to appear on ebay. then will post some pics on how it is done.
I thought IGO had a screen lock function??
Then just turn your screen backlight right down without actually turning the unit off.
Anyone seen anything like this for the HD2? Just want the tray and not the screen mount

Awesome !
I try this morning and it's work !
but i need more long trip to say it's very OK ! (tomorow)
The Solution :
- Download last version of S2U2 software. In power option, select "but only blank screen = ON"
- With regedit, remove windows screen auto lock: In order to disable the WM 6.5 lock add the registry entry
HTML:
“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd\DeviceLockWhenSuspend”
as DWORD and set it to “0″.
- Unable shutdown after X time in power Windows option
So, when IGO8 is lunch, don't touch during 17 second (this value can be modify in S2U2) and S2U2 lock ig8 screen and shutdown after but igo8 work always...
Make some feedback please...

Using gps nav on moto or bike
you can also have a look on this site: http://www.smartroute.fr which proposes motobike support for navigational PDA unit like the HD2. For english speakers : you can go on BRODIT website.
Amazing that none of the current GPS software developers has bikers in mind.
l 'll try it tomorrow and make feedback Up to now l was using scala rider Q2 and Beemer BTaudionav but it's not working anymore on my new HD2
still looking for a solution
POST #1 IS ENGLISH / WWE VERSION ONLY.
FOR FRENCH, GO TO POST #2
POUR LE FRANCAIS, RENDEZ-VOUS AU MESSAGE #2
Hi guys,
I'm actually developping a full french/WWE ROM, including a lot of softwares.
This ROM is almost complete, but I miss some important points..
1) I'm looking for a good Dialer, 2G or 3G in 040C (french) version.
2) I'm looking for a "ready-to-go" TF2D + Weather OEM package, in 0409 or 040C.
If you can help me, then I will be grateful!
For the english people, here is my first (0409 / English) version:
PLEASE DONATE HERE
And here are some screenshots:
ImageShack.us
ImageShack.us
ROM is including a lot of stuffs, I will soon propose a list of the available app's!
I'm using AEButton, so there are many shortcuts as Copy/Paste, Vol Up/Down, TaskManager, and many many others!
I'm also using ShowCase, then, watch out the top of the screen!
KNOWN BUGS AND FIXES
* Weather tab won't work in TF2D.. For the -X2 version, I deleted every weather files (12 Mb gained!)
* Lock Settings won't work.. I did not find any solution at the moment, except to install SmartLock
* SlidingSound won't work, but it is resolved for the X2 version!
* TF2D's readability is being resolved for the X2
Something else ? Please, TELL US!
Still reserved...
So the Eng ver is ready to go ? I'll be glad to try it out if so.
Yes, it is! The next one, called Trang English V2 will be released soon!
In the same time will the French V1 be released too.
don't...
...forget to get a better looking task bar, one that matches the rom
just a thought btw
Hello Zebra363,
I'll be glad to test your ROM on my French Kaiser.
May I ask you a clean ROM as well ?
Christian
Of course, here it is :
Here
Well, I ment a 6.5.x clean ROM, the link seems to be for a 6.1
What do you exactly want? A stock (official) ROM, or a light cooked ROM?
My ROM is actually in full version only, but a light ROM is a project I should consider..
superb
hi,
I use your french Trang V7.5 since the begining and il should say that i love your work. I will test this one as soon as possible and give you the results.
Hi, Thanks a lot!
I will release the French-X1 as soon as possible!

I'm looking for a 6.5.x not much loaded with programs I don't use (typically games) and having a good support for French Hardware Keyboard. I can of course live with a Full version provided that it is not customized with "nice" icons or background image. I ask this because I use my Kaiser to test software for a computer magazine and capture screens should be close as an original device.
You could try my old ROM versions..
HERE
V6 and V7.5 are the latests I made before..
And see the changelogs THERE
Or you can wait until I release a new one!
Send me in PrivateMessage a list of app's that you would add or remove..

I've no hurry, my ideal ROM is close to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=577568 which is for another device I own. I'd love to have something similar for my Kaiser even in English provided that French hardware keyboard is fully supported. I let you choose what app is worth to be added or removed to keep is light and fully functionnal. I've no specific religion about that must be in or out except I prefer to have Microsoft and/or HTC only software (just an hint). At your convenience, you may also want to add sofware that everyone consider useful like JBed, a Reg Editor, Flash Player or PDF Reader...
The real things that annoys me is, by priority, graphic customization then extra and non-standard games.
I whised to have to time to customize my own ROM but most of all I respect *your* time.
Please don't spend a second on this dreamed ROM unless it is *your own* dream.
I'll be very happy to test a future 6.5.x ROM whatever you putted in.

A bit of news:
I am trying to find the best time TF2D compromise, and it
the application on which I am leaning more for the moment. Indeed, it
is the "base" of the skin of the Kaiser, then, is also on it any
plays, the choice of a ROM .. Using a Kaiser and ugly, and be
10MB required to install a skin to each hardreset is 'con' ..
I therefore, in addition:
- Added some shortcuts in the Internet tab (WVD, Messenger,
Facebook, Google, my blog, RSSHub)
- Fully translated in the traditional way, all the menus TF2D of
so that ALL text is visible ..
- Created a skin, based on a suitable WVGA screen
And I am actively seeking a way to get from the first
installation, operation, optimal weather applets!
My goal is that the rest TF2D maximum clarity, it
So I decided to leave the skin of my version X1 ..
(I'm sorry, due to lack of time, I translated my text with GoogleTranslator.. I hope everything is readable!)
------------------------------------------

The only problem I have with skins is that joe hates tom's prefered skin.
The good news with Microsoft default skin is that there is a consensus: every one hates it. I vote for a consensus )
Otherwise I deeply respect your time, your choices and your work.

Google translate : Hello!
I has long sought an application for my Android, analyzing with the microphone, the frequency of 20 Hz to 20 kHz in real time.
I found "audalyzer" but I feel it shows the harmonics in calculating ... So it displays the fundamental and its harmonics ...
Moreover, the audio spectrum is displayed on a small portion of the screen ... (Which is not terrible to read frequencies ...)
Anyone know of a better application?
Or someone may develop one?
Bonjour!
I'm sorry but : UP !
Have you tried emailing the Audalyzer dev to see if he has any interest in adding the feature(s) you're looking for?

No! Good idea i'm mailing ...
Hi all,
I am french student in last year of management information systems.
I am registered on the forum at the end to find some help for my research paper (thesis).
I do not know where put my request on the forum, so if this is not the right place, thank you to let me know so I can move my post.

And the perimeter of the subject is:

So I have to do a minimum of 2 expert interviews, preferably one smartphone and one console.
I also trying to do a survey, to get the point of view of people.
My questions are:
1. Is there an expert on the forum or in your community with who could have contact?
2. What questions should I ask to him?
3. What questions should I ask to people for the survey?

(Cloud Computing, 4G, interfaces PSVita, ...).

No one have any idea ?
I worked on this and I thought of few questions for the interview and survey
For the Survey, this is the GoogleDoc link: Smartphones Games vs Consoles Games
For the interview:
What are the current technological innovations for different support? (Home consoles, portable consoles, smartphones)
What are the similarities and differences of these technological innovations? (ARG, Transmedia, Crossmedia, Cloud Gaming)
Players on smartphones expect big performances?
Do these media "attack" the same market?
Having a smartphone with games on oneself does not discourage people to take their portable consoles?
If there is rivalry, who will win between portable consoles and smartphones?
The portable consoles and smartphones today have almost similar specifications (small screen, reduced autonomy, not user-friendly interfaces). Should we expect a "merger" between the two media? ("SmartPSP", "smartDS")
We see this trend with the Wii U, the controller features integrated smartphones functionalities. Do you think this is going carton?
What are the future technological innovations expected by the players?
