CM10.0 stable was released a while ago on the HTC One S (S4). I've used it for a week nown and thought I'd write a review. Basically, I'm trying to create the thread I wish I'd find before I flashed CM10.0 Stable.
I came from stock 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1, so whenever I make comparisons, I compare it to that.
The Good
- Stability. I've really only encountered a single bug. That's actually better than stock for me. Definately stable enough to use as a daily driver. I am really impressed by this.
- Speed and smoothness. Everything flows really well, making the interface a joy to use.
- Battery life. For me, it has been notably but not dramatically better. I get about 3.5 h screen time (I got about 3 h on stock).
- The interface. Everything is prettier than Sense. I could never go back.
- The settings. The number of settings isn't as large as CM7 (which was a bit insane), but larger than stock. You can tweak more or less everything you care about.
The Bad
- A bug making volume wake unreliable. It's on the tracker: http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=6720
This matters a lot for me since my power button is quite unresponsible. But it probably won't matter to most users (although I'd argue that waking the screen up with volume buttons is more comfortable than the power button)
- While it's great that you can cutomize the lock screen shortcuts, you can't move the "unlock". It's always to the right. You can install another lock screen if you want, though. It's a very minor issue.
- The contacts app doesn't seem to work with Facebook, so if you (like me) get all your contacts' pictures from there, you're out of luck. Slightly annoying. Third party apps like Haxsync can fix this though.
- The timer and the alarm are found in two different apps. And the timer app is a bit wierd, coming from stock. But it works.
Other notes
- Camera quality seems good enough. Taking photos is really fast, much like stock, but you can't just hold down the button to do burst mode.
- I don't miss Beats Audio. The DSP Manager, an included app, let's you activate bass boost in three different levels. For me, this gives more than good enough audio quality.
Conclusion
A great rom. Don't stay on stock
If you want me to add anything else, just ask
Us villec2 users are stuck with laggy sense. Really hope that since cm10 on the s4 is now stable, a kind dev would port it out for us. I don't even have 4.0.4 yet!
Awesome review!
Great that CM10 is now good to go!

Thanks for this great review.
Is it possible to shoot 8mpx widescreen pictures like in the stock rom ?
And is the battery life really better than stock? I've read that some users got a worse battery life on cm..
Did you experienced any wifi/2g/3g connection issues?

Sense roms don't take 8mp widescreen shots. To achieve the widescreen, they just crop the photos to something more like 6mp.
Battery life really depends on how you use your phone but for me its better on CM.
Other than the occasional disconnecting from wifi, everything is fine over here

thanks for your answer, didn't know this cropping thing.
hm, maybe I will switch over to cm too
On Sense, the "8 Mpx" pictures are 3264 x 1840. On CM10, they are 3264 x 2448.
Also, I haven't had any WiFi issues yet on CM10. I did have a few random disconnects on stock Sense, though.

You can get it on get.cm. I don't think there's a specific thread for the stable version here on xda.
Echo
Do anyone of you have noticed that the phone call receiver hears an echo? I do not hear it myself but anyone I call hears the echo and hang up. I switched to stock Sense ROM and the echo disappears.
The echo comes back on CM10, I might try some more ROMs and see
Hello!!
As far as Facebook sync the best next thing is Haxsync in the market... Sooo worth it and it works great on CM10.
Can someone tell me how much the radio take effect on the battery life?
I'm on stock Rom with radio 1.06es now
Or will a new radio be flashed with during the flashprogress of cm 10?

I can confirm that Haxsync works really well!
I installed cm10 two days after i received the phone. There are a few annoyances, but i get good battery life, can run almost two days.
gsm and 3g works perfect, call quality is good, 3g speeds are decent, in my area i get about 1.1 mb/s down and 300 kb/s up.
System runs smooth and fast as default.
The things that annoy me is the bug where volume rocker doesn't wake the device, mentioned on first post.
Some sounds are too low, Alarm sounds compared to my Desire are lower, unlock/lock sounds as well.
When playing music, all info on lock screen is hidden, so you can't see time, weather or scheduled plans.
When you pause music from the lock screen, after about 3 seconds of silence, it'll play another 2 secs, then go silent again.
But, overall i'm happy, a few kinks which i'm sure they'll fix. It runs really well which is nice.
I liked using this but something didn't feel right (too buggy for my tastes) and prefer sense, but I love cm on my nexus 7 its amazing on nexus devices

I've been using this for a couple days as well.
Battery life seems worse than the available Sense ROMs but not horrible. Although I can't say for sure that its due to the ROM. I did flash a different radio at the same time.
Also the sounds seem a little lower quality. Not sure if this is due to the lack of Beats Audio or what?
"Snapiness" feels about the same as Sense IMO.
I do agree that this is definitely usable as a DD

How would you compare photo quality between CM 10.0 Stable and Sense 4.1 ROMs? I understand that CM 10.0 cannot access the HTC ImageSense chip because it's proprietary but is there a noticeable difference in taking pictures between the two ROMs?
just installed this.
for some reason the contacts app doesnt have a menu so i cant get in the settings to change my voicemail.
music playes for a few seconds after it has been paused.
currently in the process or wiping and reflashing stable to see if the problem persists

Hello. I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and want to switch back to the One X due to its awesome screen. I initially didn't like the One X due to the overbearing Sense (especially the multitasking, I hated that side scrolling thing). Are there stable builds od Jellybean available? If you tried them, how is your experience with it?
I'm using CM10 on my One X and love it. So much faster and more responsive than sense.

After I rooted I went to CleanROM 4.5 and I loved it. I enjoy sense, I just was much nicer on CleanROM thats for sure. But this is my first ever android phone, so i wanted to experience stock android. That's when I flashed CM10. I Gotta say, man is it ever smooth! This phone runs amazingly with Jelly Bean, its so fast so smooth and just so much better than sense.
I have owned every iphone up until now, and man, it was the right choice to change!

I only played around with CM10 for a short time yesterday, so others can certainly speak on the matter better than I. But seeing as you haven't received a great many responses so far, here is my 2 cents:
Short answer is that JB is very young, and things are changing quickly and often.
The general UI is very smooth, and works very well. But there are still various bugs being worked out on certain aspects, which may or may not be a deal breakers for you (for now), depending on how you use your phone. On the 8-26 nightly, streaming audio was broken (Pandora didn't work at all) and even playing non-streaming music (MP3's on the SD) mostly did not work. It looks like this may have been fixed on the 8-28 nightly. But things are changing literally day by day, and not always for the better due to upstream changes. Seems that in call volume has gone back and forth from fixed to broken, for instance.
Video camera is mostly fixed on nightlies that are labelled EXPERIMENTAL in the file name, broken in the ones that do not. I say "mostly" because the output was good most the time, but 1 time out of maybe the 10 tries I made, the output was still garbled. Again, this is something that may get ironed out very soon. The dev mentioned they just got a open source version of the phone's camera software, and he sounded very optimistic this would help remedy the camera bugs.
Everyone's requirements for what makes a daily driver is different. But for me, there are enough issues to wait longer for the bugs to be worked out. No knock on the devs at all. Their hard work is totally appreciated. What has been accomplished is awesome (and in such a short time). But CM10 is still being billed as in an "early state". Some early adopters will have to tolerate some bugs to have the cutting edge, that's just how it always is. For those that need a more stable product, we'll have to wait a bit.
Yeah building on what he said, CM10 is stable enough for a daily driver (and has been for awhile) as long as you don't need your video camera. Things break here and there but as long as you pay attention to the thread then you will know what to expect from what builds. And btw the streaming audio was fixed in 8-28, used it this morning.

Hey guys, just found this thread.
I am very interested in the one x but do not want anything to do with sense! Assuming I get a one x with 1.85 firmware or earlier, do you think there is enough development going on to get a extremely stable cm10 (or cm9) build for this phone?
It feels a little big to me and the power button could be in a better place, but I like everything else about the phone.

Besides the video camera, LTE also seems to have problems? Browsing through the thread I see people have to set a bunch of settings after every reboot for LTE to work. That can be a big issue for me.

I love Jellybean, but more importantly I don't think I'll ever go back to a non-AOSP based ROM. The devs who work on Sense ROMs do an amazing job removing bloatware and speeding up what HTC gave us, but you can't match the speed of software that was designed from the ground up to be sleek and smooth. Plus I just enjoy the customizability of AOKP and CM10.
My personal preference is CM10, mainly because of battery life and the small tweaks that are unique to CM10 (for now). As others have stated there are some stability issues with Jellybean, but there are bugs in all software and in time they will be worked out. Make a full backup in TWRP and just try flashing CyanogenMod for a day to see if you like it. Titanium Backup Pro offers complete backups of all app data and even SMS, so I am constantly flashing new ROMs without much risk of permanent data loss.

I don't know. LTE works for me. Noticed it when I went to work today. Btw LTE just got switched on in Wilmington, DE. I never had to change any settings, it just worked.
Edit: I remember I was on CleanROM (forget which version, but it was quite awhile ago, I think it was based on 1.85), then moved to AOKP M6, then to CM10.

Yep, lte has always worked for me as well (cm10 and aokp). I did come from cleanrom though (started with version 1). I switched to aokp jellybean and it's been more stable and honestly, smoother than cm was. That was back on the 8/16 version so things may have changed. Since I can't comment on the newer releases of cm, I will say that the aokp jellybean release is extremely smooth overall. As with cm, camera and video still have issues. My personal opinion though, is that neither aokp or cm are as stable, smooth, complete as cleanrom de was. They are getting close though and definitely close enough that I have no desire or need to go back (though clean de was/is a heck of a rom).

CM10 is surprisingly polished.
Most things thats is important will work and MiLocker works really well on it too.
Most Awesome feature is the ability to remap the buttons.
Getting better every day and tonight's build should have 100% working cameras in the nightly builds. No more experimental builds. I highly suggest cm10, haven't tried miui or aokp jb releases yet, been in cm10 for close to two weeks and can tell you it's really dd material now. Most kinks are gone, and battery life is usable even with wake locks. And with a new build everyday, only getting better constantly.

Cm10 is amazing....video camera is 100% as of the latest 8/31 nightly
Lte is an issue if u did not come from a sense 4.0.3 ROM such as stock 1.85 senseless 1.1 or clean ROM 4.0.
I never have issues with lte I never go into settings to change anything.
The one gripe is battery life is not as good as it was on sense first day on cm10 is worse it gets better every charge but its maybe 80-90% wat it was on sense. I still go the whole day 15+ hours and still have 40% batt I just charge every night now no big deal its worth it tho whole experience is so much better

you should also know that there is a low volume issue on calls. The person at the other end will hear you as if you were wispering if you talk normally.
I hate screaming at my phone. Developer has tried increasing the mic volume but than it brings in-call echo.
Hopefully they can get it squared away but be ready to talk loud or repeat yourself during phone calls. weird part is that SIP calls (like with Skype) works fine.
I am still running the ROM and loving it.

I used to have a ONE XL on AT&T back when they first came out, but I suffered from the delayed push notifications on wifi bug that was apparently pretty prevalent, so I returned it. I was planning to get a Nexus 4, but after seeing all the reviews about poor battery life, mediocre camera, etc., I'm now not so sure about that. One thing I do love is stock android. I despise Sense and other manufacturer skins/bloat. So when I saw that CM10 had a stable release for the One XL, I am considering come back to the One XL. I loved the build quality and LOVED the camera.
Anyways, so my question is this-- how good is CM10 stable on the One XL? Is it as fast and stable as the stock HTC rom? Does everything (bluetooth, gps, wifi, notification LED, etc.) actually work properly?
I see two threads in this forum that give me some concern. One about messed up wifi on CM10, and one about messed up GPS on CM10. Are those threads unusual? Or are wifi and GPS problems on the One X common on CM10?
Also, does anybody remember the delayed push notifications on wifi bug that plagued the One XL when it was first released? Does anybody know if that is completely fixed on CM10?
Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!
Edit: And yes, I posted a similar question in one of the CM10 threads but wasn't getting much feedback, so I decided to start a new thread.
Wifi bug spoils the experience
I also love to use the vanilla Android Experience and have tried CM10 nightlies every now and then with hopes that Wifi bug will be fixed but it hasn't been fixed as of now. The UI is smooth as butter, the camera is good too but, for me, the battery life was very bad with CM10. I'd rather go with CleanROM V till the CM10 wifi bug is fixed.
I felt that the camera UI, Panorama and Burst photo capability of Sense is second to none and that is the one reason I keep moving back to Sense based ROMs every time I find CM10 wifi bug is still there.
WiFi an GPS work on mine with Cm10.
Always has for me, hit an miss for a few.
YMMV

Pictures taken with a Sense based ROM are better (more features, sharpening, imagesense chip, ect). That said, the camera on CM10 does work pretty well anyways. I've been running CM10 for a while now, and I don't have any complaints. Once the new camera in Jellybean 4.2 hits our device it will be much better.

CM10 has been flawless for me. I did have battery issues soon after my flash, but discovered the reason (Spotify burning immense background data), and once I fixed that it's been great. I get two days of use on one charge, with about 2-3 hours of screentime. CPU set to ondemand, min 192, max 920. No performance lag whatsoever.
Wifi has been no problem for me. GPS is only an issue for navigation, but if you start nevigation and then press home to run it in the background, it gives you turn by turn. I also believe that that issue was fixed, but I can't remember where I read that.
As you probably know, the stable build was released a few days ago. I haven't had any crashes or force-closes, or any other issues.
Pictures with sense are better than AOSP because Sense contains HTC's proprietary Imagesense tech, which is undoubtedly fantastic. That said, unless you really need great pictures, CM10 pictures are perfectly good.
Don't use bluetooth myself, can't vouch for it, but the only issues I've seen have been resolved or are obscure. LED notification works perfectly and can be customized lots in CM10, which is useful.
CM10 running sweet for me on a Telstra HTC One XL.
Haven't had any major dramas. 4G is working, wifi is working, and my battery life is a fair bit better than the stock ROM.

Bottom-line: Sense is a little bit better, especially for panoramas - but I think the difference is overstated by most people.

BAKED BlackBean and AOKP are good roms.
Could you please specify what's buggy about CM10? And are you sure the poor battery life doesn't simply have to do with the large amount of whites in the interface of AOSP in comparison to Sense?
All cm10 based ROMs have the video Recording mic bug. That's the only thing that keeps me from using cm10 based ROMs.
Baked has the best battery life I've seen so far. I've used everything but paranoid android for an extended period of time.

I used ParanoidAndroid for a while, which is a very nice, smooth running ROM with a good battery life.
As Klin moved to Baked, I followed him and i do not regret Baked is even smoother, nicer and has a better battery life. Simply a great ROM!! :good:
Buggy? CM10 is as stable as any ROM I've ever used. It's been my DD since before it was even officially supported. If you think it's buggy, then the opinions of others really aren't going to sway you, so try them all and pick the one you think as the least "bugs".
Well if this is in comparison to Sense based ROMs, then any jelly bean ROM will feel buggy, as they're all aosp based and all still are wip.

I wouldn't call CM10 "wip", it's called stable now. I assume that means that it's done, basically
Also, even the vanilla Sense rom isn't perfectly stable for me, there are a few annoying bugs, for example getting stuck in airplane mode.
But then again, I haven't got the chance to actually try CM10 yet, so I should probably wait until then before I claim anything

I ended up using 2GB of data for some reason. I looked and wifi disables itself and cannot be renabled unless i reboot. I boot up an app and my screen goes to some static like stuff and then finally boots up the app (which isn't that much of a problem) but the Data issue is really something I would like to fix because I have autoupdate apps on.

I don't know about the mic but what kept me going back from CM to Sense roms is that it would not record videos on 720p or 1080p. It would save them sometimes and when you try to open them, cannot play, and deletes them. Also, the camera focus does not seem to compare to Sense camera, the latter is miles ahead. Seems to be because htc has not released the code for the camera yet.
Gaming seem smoother on CM though, and the interface is smoother/faster than Sense for me. But not being able to use well this great camera is a pity.
Maybe you need to try another baseband? It worked ok for me with the stock from TMOUS 1.53, up to the latest one from OTAs. Also works with the recommended radio from this page: http://ville.giev.de/?page_id=42
As the title says, what's the best rom for the MT4GS? I've been playing around with a lot of roms, but don't seem to really like them. The fact that most roms are all over the place instead of a list also makes it hard to know how many roms there are for the phone.
Anyways, in your opinion, what's the best rom for this phone and why?
Go look in Weekends posts - he's got a huge list of ROMs,sorted by developer, with download links. Also other posts with lots of other useful stuff. As for my preference, I've been running CM9.1 r8 for a couple of months now and it's been fast, reliable with good battery life. Just trying Kornyone's Dec 22 CM10 over the Christmas break. Going well so far!

That is a very subjective thing. What is best for one person may not have features or stability in areas that another person requires. For me, to have everything on the phone work as it is supposed to work, with no weirdness or arcane voodoo incantations necessary to perform a task, requires a stock-based ROM. To date, no ROM other than a stock-based ROM can get everything on the phone to work as it was designed. Some come very close, but there are always little quibbles (the main one being the camera functions). I run Miktouch 0.7, which is based on the last HTC ROM, 1.63.531.2.

Hence the thread title starts with the word "OPINION."
Anyway, I'm definitely a cm10 fan now. Its very stable given the condition this phone was left to us by HTC and its more than I ever hoped for. AOKP JB is also quite solid, but for some reason the notification toggles are just so blah as compared to CM toggles (even in the ICS builds of both ROMs) that I can't get myself to use that rom actively. I thought since AOKP has more tweaks I'd like it but I found that it is unnecessary for me personally.

The new alpha 3 CM10 is definitely the best AOSP rom I've encountered so far for quite some time now. Very few things left that are broken, and I wouldn't consider any of them to be deal breakers. Battery life is very good too, and my God JB is smooth. I didn't think the difference would be so drastic between ICS and JB, but it is. You'll notice it through any transitions and apps opening and closing. It's not as zippy as ICS though. I'd say about 80-90% as fast.
Now that someone figured out the solution to the FC'ing Gallery, I'm now running the Bliss ICS 3.32 ROM from sun_dream. It is a Sense 3.6 ICS ROM that is very smooth, fast, and has excellent battery life as well as killer audio (using Beats and XLoud). From my experience, battery usage is nearly as good as the Miktouch ROM and way better than the CM ROMs. When I was originally using this, the gallery would constantly FC. I just couldn't deal with that. But that has been solved so now giving it another go.
I am not familiar with the 4g slide ROMS. My wife has an unrooted one that I would like to root. it has quirky issues that I would hope to get rid of and most of all gain better battery life. I noticed that there are camera issues. I don't totally understand what the 1080 video issue is but would like a functioning camera and video camera. Basically I am looking to be pointed at the more functional roms out there that will give her better than stock battery life. I have found virtuous being very good in the past and wonder if inquisition is a good bet. Any input would be great. thank you

If battery life is your primary goal, and fully-functional next, then Miktouch 0.7 is what you seek. Alternately, the Bliss 3.32 ICS ROM would work, as well, though it does not do 1080P video recording. 720P works, though. The only ROMs doing 1080P video recording are stock-based like Miktouch. I'm really enjoying this Bliss ROM since it is ICS with Sense 3.6. Very smooth.
MikMik ROMs were always the most stable, in my opinion.
For ICS, Virtuous was nice enough and I heard that Bliss was just a better Virtuous, but JB ROMs, in particular, JellyBAM has been even better than any ICS ROM I've run on this device...

Thanks Fuzi, I figured that from your other posts. And thank you rory for your insight on Bliss.
I rooted and s-off her phone last night and flashed JellyBAM. Wire trick was fun, never had to do that before. I will see how this does with apex launcher and maybe try two of the others you guys suggested, over the weekend. Thanks again for the insight.

Have you tried JellyBAM? I was having issues with the keyboard in PACman v17 and v18.
But so far (about 18 hours now) I'm very happy with the latest JB rom.

It's possible. I just might not have come across them yet. The only problems I've experienced are the virtual keyboard popping up when I click again in a text box (easily solved with the back buttons) and the FCing when attempting to add funny effects to video in Camera JB+. I've heard a bit about the keyboard CAPS and ALT lights, but those are pointless anyway. Everything else I've done has been smooth as butter. What else is there?
Edit: I guess the 1080 camera could be one too, but I'm over that and coming from months on ICS.

Oh, things like virtual keyboards not working except in native apps, qwerty keyboard keys not working, LEDs not working, wifi not stable, camera FC'ing, camera button not working, battery life is terrible... Nothing major, really. LOL

Oh I didn't notice the first one, mine has been great. My www and com buttons don't work, but never used those so I didn't really notice (these weren't working on ICS). My notification light works, wifi fine, camera fine (except issue I mentioned above), battery life is unnoticeable. I assume you reflashed, right?

I can't believe I'm saying this since Strapped was saying this very same thing to me, but you never know those particulars until you try it on your own device. The only sure bets are the Not Working pieces mentioned in OP. I love this ROM so much better than the Virtuous ICS ROM, but if you're sticking point is the camera, then of course MikTouch is the ROM of choice.

"Oh, things like virtual keyboards not working except in native apps" what does this mean?
My experience with CM10.0 on the Rogers HTC One X has not been very good! My first impression of the ROM was like WOW this is as buttery-smooth as advertised! I loved everything about it. But after 2 days of use I noticed the following:
1. My battery drains way faster than before
2. Google Navigation works for a minute than my 4G drops completely and naturally, navigation stops working as well.
3. My contact names stopped showing up on SMS. All my contacts were just represented by their phone numbers.
With all these horrible bugs, I had to go back to CleanROM. Which is really sad cuz I love Jellybean

I have been using CM10 exclusively for about 3 months now so it's stable and has great battery life (easily 20 hours of normal usage for me). There are bugs but I have learned to either fix them on my own or live with them. It's way better than using Sense in my opinion. CM10.1 is my current ROM and I'm loving how responsive it is, so great things are coming!
Development for both CM10 and CM10.1 were halted basically all through December, and now that the devs are working with Android 4.2 I doubt there will be any groundbreaking improvements to CM10. h8rift is working hard on getting CM10.1 to a daily-driver state, though, so hopefully it won't be too long!

I think cm10 is good rom. You might need to switch off the gps and sync while not using it. Hope this help.
As long as I stick to wifi (or alternatively use 2g if I'm doing something low data rate like IM), cm10 works well for me.

also for #1 dont forget to turn NFC off wont drastically change it but itll help with battery
Ive use the stock one with sense and it worked great, but since i like to mod my phone i installed CM10 and its working good to, not perfect but good, the phone its really great and im happy using stock or cm10, this is a great phone :highfive:
My experience with cm10 is not good. Battery drains to fast ...
I'm able to get about 12-14 hours on CM10 pretty easily. For the guys who have sucky battery life, here is something to try. Once you install everything and give the ROM a couple of hours to settle, go into recover and do a backup, then wipe everything and then do a restore from the backup you just made. It's pretty much the equivalent of defragging your computer hard drive.
Every few weeks when my phone gets laggy or I feel like battery is draining I do this, and it picks right back up. This was recommended by Turge (HTC ONE X Venom Developer) and it works really well for me.

You haven't used an AOSP ROM that uses the 4.2 camera have you? It's not quite as good as the Sense camera but it's dang close. You can flash the 4.2 camera on Cm10. The thread is in the themes and apps section.
I've never actually used CM10 bit I've used tons of AOSP ROMs that are pretty much all based on CM10 and have none of the issues from the OP. I get great battery life, my gps works perfectly, and all my contacts show up perfectly as well. Maybe give another ROM a try. I use JellyBam with Rohan's kernel and it's just about perfect.

I've found battery life to be reasonable, especially on wifi. Make sure to turn location settings such as background reporting off. These drain battery life tremendously. Also I have found the sense camera to be far better.
I have had similar problems:
- since the sept 13th nightly mms photo previews is broken.
- camera in panorama mode crashes the whole os sometimes
- battery life could be better
- I've noticed bugs when trying to search contacts in the phone app via dial pad (hanging until I restart the phone app )
That's all I can recall. Overall cm is very nice though and I love the speed and having google now. These are bugs I've noticed in the stable version.
Battery drain is awful on all non-Sense based ROMs. You need to disable almost every useful service on the phone to get a long full day out of it. THis is one of the reasons I went back to running Viper (de-Sensed) with Nova. Battery is MUCH better :good:
I have had most of the issue mentioned above as well as rebooting multiple times a day

I fully agree, it seems to me like Sense ROM's are the only way to go if battery life is a concern. After using the official CM10 rom and variants like JellyBam and comparing them to ViperXL, there's just no contest. Non-Sense roms just aren't optimized well. Things like wakelock issues really put a dent in expected battery life.
That said, the AOSP theme just looks better. I can't get over how ugly the pattern unlock is for sense compared to AOSP!
AOSP is just cleaner, more refined, and more current. I hope battery improvements can be made, but I really doubt it'll be anytime soon.
I have been using CM10 since November, and I never have any GPS problem. Battery isn't bad, as long as it lasts full day I am fine with it.
