It will boot to the LG screen then a black screen,
what happened: I rooted my phone, then installed beats audio (requires root) from App market place,
I did not back up my firmware, like an idiot.
So, I found this guide, [cannot post outside links, basically its a link to a LG Motion Unbricking guide]but I am worried it will flash my phone to Metro PCS. (I believe this will work because the Motion and the Regard are the same). Can anyone who has the Regard copy and upload their stock or rooted rom instead?
PS sorry for posting here, there is not section yet for the LG Optimus Regard
Well now my phone kind of works, it boots after flashing this Motion 4g rom, however, it continually repeats the message (as in loops) "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped" moreso, I am now flashed over to Metro PCS.
Please I beg of anyone with this model the LG Optimus Regard LW-770
PLEASE My phone is unuaseable in its current state.
So I got it working..... except my phone still thinks its an MS-770 and not a LW-770. Also it is still on MetroPCS.
So I am saying screw it, can someone please just tell me how to change my carrier back to cricket. I will stay with my phone having the wrong model number until someone releases a proper rom

Hi, I know this is for T-mobile but I will post my question here as Wind representative told me that they use T-Mobile devices
Earlier this morning, I noticed that there is the update for kitkat. I forgot that my phone was rooted with some chinese software, and I installed the update. Originally I planned to unroot the phone update but I forgot. Now whenever I start my phone I get the fast reboot screen. Is there anyway to fix this
Please speak in noob terms.... I am not very good with computer language.
(Feel free to move this thread to anywhere where it belongs, if it's an issue. And sorry for my non-native english).
Good night for everyone,
To make it short:
- I bought an LG G2 D802 from amazon.com (description says it's a factory unlocked phone).
- Tried to install a modified kitkat rom.
- The phone bricked into fastboot mode, but then I could repair the download mode and installed a Hong Kong (without noticing it and messed up the phone, because I'm form Venezuela and it went to a Locked state) stock firmware. But couldn't repair the recovery mode.
- When the phone booted it had an apparent screen calibration problem, where it doesn't respond accurately to touch, but going to the sensor->calibrate sensor option from settings menu didn't fix the problem at all. So I think it's something related to the Android system files (partitions maybe?) and not the settings or S/W at all.
- Installed an Open kitkat firmware hoping that it would fix the issue, but with no result. It correctly changed the S/W, but the screen problem persisted.
Some ideas that I have (but haven't found any propper methot to fix the phone) are:
1. If it applies: repairing the Android system files, to fix the touchscreen problem.
2. Rooting the phone and installing the best Recovery Mode to fix the phone.
3. Wiping the phone to blank.
4. Install a correct S/W from zero.
5. Hoping that it works
If it's possible doing it from a pc software or command line (connected to the phone obviously) I think it would be the easier solution, but don't know how to do it.
I would be really grateful with anyone who reads this and can help me fixing this...
Thanks.
Hi,
I believe your best move is returning to stock. Please read the following threads opening post carefully and only use files made for your exact model number.... You can ask for help here too,
> LG G2 > G2 General > LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock)
Good luck!
unroot

Hello to all and hope you will be fine
My Problem: i bought LG G2 D802 last week, it was running on 4.4 kit kat, i thought to root my phone and to install android 5.0,
So i use " one click recovery" for rooting but sudddenly my phone stuck in fastboot mode, after a lot of search i find a solution with LAF, BOOT, ABOOT etc, but i flash these .img files of d801 unfortunately. after that in download mode i installed KDZ, for turned on but touch is not working its awkward.
After searching lot i find that my LG G2 is Refurbished. i opened it and see the motherboard and D800 was written on it. So it is D800, but it always shows d802 in adb.
After doing above all things what happened to my phone
No network
Baseband Unknown
Imei Null
Touch is not responding
Internal 32 gb but showing 10gb
Restarts after 1 or 2 minutes
im currently using it with Mouse and so worried as i had managed money with great difficulty. :crying:

Hi every one!
I have an LG G2, which is showing as D802-20a but under the covers (on main board) it is showing as D800. It is rooted (with towel root). It is portrayed as International edition D802 but it is not. Its AT&T LG G2 D800 in fact.
My question to all of your experts is if I have to flash a custom rom (Bliss POP 4.3) (5.1.1) on it. what I'll have to do first. It is currently showing as 4.4.2 D802-20a. Will I have to flash it with D800 tot file? Wont that give an error of cross version in LG Flash tool.......Firstly I tried to install AutoRec for D802 on it. It bricked my set. I opened up and short-circuited the capacitors to force it into QDLoader 9008 mode and then repaired Download Mode by using Boarddiag.
So flashing D802 tot is not an option, I think. Cutting the long story short, I want to have Bliss POP or Cloudy G2 ver 3.3 on it. What will be the procedure. Currently, it is rooted. no recovery installed. Please inform me of the method and software version files to be used. Thanks in advance. Update from Settings>About>Update simply doesn't work. device not registered or up-to-date or check after 24 hours etc. shows up.
P.S. >>> I replaced that bricked set (after repairing with some soft n hard methods) to the Shopkeeper and got another one. I believe it is same as the first one. Now, to play safe, I just need to make sure things don't mess up this time. so need a procedural reply. Thanks in advance.....
I did it...........though I found the forum non-cooperative.

Care to elaborate?
I have an LS980 crossflashed into D802 and ridiculous fact that it had IMEI verified to be D802, now I have nice bricked phone with shiny white lines to the left side of the screen when I turn it on or put into download mode. I'm stuck with Android Bootloader Interface when I try to put phone into download mode, no QDLoader thingi in Device manager though. Then I decided to open the phone and it had flex cables of D800, bottom black cover of D805 and Motherboard of LS980(Sprit). (Running Windows 8.1 64-bit on an AMD chipset laptop which has USB 3.0 and I can go extra mile to try it on my old PC with USB 2.0 and windows 7 32-bit).
I have a question, how can I use QFIL to install the firmware?
Yesterday I tried to update it to android 12 but I got the error ¨Anti rollback¨ and it didn't turn on anymore.
Then I read a post from a user on reddit who recovered the files to restore it, but the truth is I already looked for the procedure to do it but it won't let me, I would really appreciate it if someone could support me, I attach the post.
