Is very simple. Design an icon for my up coming app "ROM Factory 2" and win a code to redeem The Humble Bundle THQ.
The rules are as follow:
1. All entries must be submitted on this thread.
2. The icons submitted must be one 512x512 display icon for play market, and one 72x72 icon for android drawer.
3. All entries must be entered before Tuesday 4, December 2012 @ 7:00PM EST.
4. You have full artistic freedom, but no offensive material. (Seriously, go crazy with it.)
5. I will then select 4 I like, and will put then on a poll, so anyone here can vote for their favorite.
Will close the poll on Friday! Person with the most votes then wins!

My friends and I have been using MyFitnessPal and other equivalent web sites to track our meals for a few months now. Most of these sites use a database of food items that have been submitted by users, and many times they're way off. I grew sick of having to look up food items online for accuracy, so I decided to write an Android app to make things easier.
Queue up my new (and first) Android application, "What's On Your Plate". It's a simple application that contains the USDA National Nutrient Database and all it's 7,906 items of goodness.
It allows you to:
Search for items by keywords.
Browse for items by category.
See detailed nutritional information for each item.
Choose a serving size, with custom units per item.
Save commonly used items to a list of favorites.
Share your selected item and serving size via email, Google Docs, or more.
Optionally display "net carbohydrates" rather than "carbohydrates".
I'm considering features such as listing the macro percentages within each food, and the ability to search for food items by percentages for when you're looking for something new to add to your next meal.
It's free of course, but there is a small AdMob ad at the bottom. Maybe it'll cover that $25 fee Google charges for posting on the market, but I doubt it haha.
Anyway, take a look, and shout at me if you like (or hate) it. Thanks!

v1.2
Updated the USDA Nutrient Database to Standard Release 24.
Added choline and vitamin D.
v1.3
Added an option to display "% Calories" rather than "% Daily Value"
Changed "Fat" from "Lipid_Tot" to the calculated total digestible fats.
Corrected the behaviour of the "back" button.
Corrected the Android Market developer link. (oops!)
The update is not showing as live on the Android Market just yet. It's acting screwy tonight.
v1.7
Rewritten from scratch to provide an ICS look and feel, with additional features, and an optional donation version for no ads.

In a nutshell
A nifty app that will keep you up to date on any PC game deals & discounts.
In a bigger nutshell?
Bargain Bytes is a small, useful app with one purpose - to provide you with up to date information on PC game deals and discounts going on at the moment. It scans 15+ on-line retailers and has an easy to use filter for controlling which stores you want to see games from. So, if you only wish to look at deals from Steam & GoG, for example, you can do that.
You can also search for a specific game or DLC and see how's it's priced in the different stores and which ones have active discounts on it.
Cool, so which Game Stores does it work with?
• Steam
• GoG
• Amazon
• Humble Store
• Gamer's Gate
• GreenManGaming
• GameStop
• Desura
• Uplay
• Origin
• Direct2Drive
• Get Games
• GamesRocket
• Shiny Loot
• IndieGameStand
• Bundle Stars
• With more to come...

Next Big Feature
Our current priority is to add a Watch-List feature to the app. This would allow you to add games you wish to keep a track of to a separate list so you'll always be able to know if any of them have an active discount or just what their current price is. It would also notify you if a game on your Watch-List falls beneath a price point you have set.
Looks great, trying it out thx
Sent from my GT-I9505G using XDA Free mobile app
Nice One
Nice start. Apart form the watch-list, the following can be included on the feature list for the future:
1. Option to filter out DLCs, especially in the 'Lowest Price' category
2. Price filter
3. Sort games by genre and popularity within it
4. Price history or at least mention of lowest ever price for a game
5. Mention of additional discount coupons that can be applied over a discounted price
Nothing new here that can't be found on various websites, but would be good to have it in a single app.

Sweet, will try this out and see how it holds up to some other apps I use.. Thanks non the less
oh and it would be nice if you could put the ads just on the bottom of the screen, instead of them scrolling with the actual content
Great app, but there are just some issues.
-Some games have the wrong thumbnail.
-"Cannot load this deal right now" for every app I try.

Point 1 is something we've noticed as well - it is a feature we've considered adding. We think the price filter idea will be nice for specific games (as in monitor if a particular game goes under a target price), so that's why we'll integrate it into the watch-list.
From your other points I can say that point 4 is on our to-do list - we're just wondering how to properly integrate it into the app.
Again, thanks for the feedback!

A base app for manage personal budget.
Some month I spend in bar, coffe, other bar, other coffe, cigarettes, cinema. At 15th of every month, I get my salary, and think: "Oh yes, now I have 1500 € more than yesterday". Instead, in some case, the difference between received money and my personal exit is so high. I needed simple app, with simple UI, without having milions of functions. I merged my need with my hobby (programmer). I hope to have produce a useful app. I know there are other app better than mine, but I repeat, I did not search an app with too many features.

[APP][5.0+] One Piece Wallpapers. Application for all fans of anime/manga "One Piece"
I am huge One Piece fan. IRL I'm currently working as back-end Java developer. I decided to expand my skills and learn Android development. When I started, I already knew that my first application will be about One Piece, because I really wanted to somehow contribute to community of this amazing manga series. 2 days ago I finally published it. It is a "mobile wallpaper gallery" application. Functionality is same as in similar apps: scroll through thousands of wallpapers, find what you like, download/set as wallpaper/share with your friends/add to favorites. But that wasn't enough for me, so I created more advanced features.
1. Strongest part of this app - Categories. I spent a lot of time creating this system. This system makes it very easy to find wallpapers with specific character. Every character has its own category (currently not all characters are implemented). And inside that category there are only wallpapers that are related to chosen character. For example if you open "Monkey D. Luffy" category:
You will only see wallpapers with Luffy on them (solo or with other characters).
You can also also press "Solo" button inside category and then you will see wallpapers where Luffy is without any other characters.
In the future even more filtering features will be added. It will be possible to filter by more than 1 character. For example if you enter "Luffy+Sabo+Ace", you will see wallpapers with Luffy, Sabo and Ace on them (together, without any other characters).
2. Completely free. Has ads in it for small profit. No annoying 15-30 seconds long ads. You can manually watch them to support developer.
3. Fully One Piece related. No characters from other anime.
4. Currently there are already 1200+ wallpapers. All of them are stored on my server. This means that you don't need to update application to see new content.
5. All preview pictures (those that are not fullscreen) are compressed to 5-15% of original file size. It means that all preview pictures will load really fast and won't use much internet data.
To-do for near future:
More content. New wallpapers, new characters in category (Reiju/Caesar/Bepo are ready, but not yet in app).
More features. Advanced filtering, "Set as lock screen" feature, more navigation (sorting).
Design improvements?
Add some basic stuff that people can view without internet connection.
Support for VERY big/small screens.
