[Q] noisy creaking sound what should i do ? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I bought it I heard creaking sound but it was weak
Now it's very noisy and I am hearing it everytime touch it in the right side and the left
What should I do ?
Sorry for my bad English

I had one unit that did that out of the box but eventually settled in with use. You can try placing it screen down on a towel and pressing throughout the back to make sure it's seated.

It worked thanks

Irritating Creak / Snap Noise When Pressing Call Button

I have a Sprint Touch Pro. It makes this annoying snapping sound when pressing down on the call button on the bottom left hand corner, as if the chrome faceplate isn't completely or loosely screwed into the black under-pinning piece. Does anyone else have this issue?
I have a similar problem

My keyboard makes a cheap creaking noise when I type. If I press the battery cover in the area around the camera, I hear the same noise. Is there any simple fix for this, it's pretty annoying.
Otherbeing, I think what you hear is the crackle from the speaker....I have it too!
battery noise
for a simple fix to the battery noise, (this is gonna sound really cheap)
fold up a piece of paper and put it on the battery and then put the back cover on... it works...
might take you two or three tries to get the right size and set, but once you have it down, its easy,
and yea it works... (yes i know this is really cheap sounding)

Received replacement -screen creaking and moving

Received my replacment Sensation yesterday and noticed it made a slight noise when I touched the bottom right corner area of the screen (near the search button) After using it today for an extended period the creaking became louder and louder and also has moved up so that it will creak if you touch the screen on any portion from the middle of the right hand side on down.. The creaking noise is steadily increasing in amplitude. I have checked to make sure the cover is on correctly and it is . I have pulled the back cover off numerous times and it was of no help. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I just got off the phone with T Mobile (they could hear the creaking if I touched it while on the phone with them)and they are sending out another one.
mod please delete this one as I tried to edit the first post of this subject and it somehow just made a new one instead. Apologies -do not kwow what I did wrong?

Fix for a low volume in the earpiece during calls

In the last 6 months i had very low volume during calls, I was sure it was a Rom-related issue but even when moving from a AOSP-based rom to a sense one it didn't help.
I've tried the method with cleaning the earpiece with tooth brush - didnt help. so I've took a needle and just entered a few milimeters into the holes of the earpiece, while making a circular movement inside of it.
And now the volume is so strong that i need to put the volume lower it to the middle!!!
Just wanted to let you know in case it's your case too.
FYI: IM NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU INSERTED THE NEEDLE IN A WRONG WAY AND DESTROYED YOUR SPEAKER, ACT WITH CAUTION!

Can you take a picture of the earphone holes you poked? I replaced my earspeaker while I replaced my cracked screen but the replacement speaker was worse so I swapped back to the OEM one.
I have an idea how the speakers look underneath but would love to know which holes you worked on to enhance the sound experience.
Nothing to photograph here, its not a mods just cleaned the holes of the housing.

Do you get sound through both bottom speakers?

I thought the audio speaker volume was a bit low and noticed sound is only coming out of the left speaker hole. It's really obvious if I cover up the holes in turn. Could you tell me if yours is the same please?
There IS only one speaker...
Ah, well that would explain it. Silly me, I thought - two speaker holes = two speakers!
One is speaker and the other is the mic
Silly me thought the exact same thing today. I randomly put my phone up to my mouth and noticed the sound went away after covering just 1 side.
Thanks for clearing that up guys!

Sound when you unfold the phone.

Hi Guys, maybe this is a stupid and weird question, but I was wondering when you open ( unfold ) the phone, and you are in super quiet room, do you hear scratching sound coming out of the phone? Or is the opening very quiet without any noise at all? Is that sound that I hear the brushes cleaning the hinge? I just noticed this sound and I am not sure if it was there since the beginning. Unfortunately, I was in really dusty place and had my phone in my jeans front pocket and I am paranoid that maybe some of that dust got inside.
Thank you for your answers.

It's actually pretty quiet. If you put your ear up to it, you can hear the bristles/hinge, but it really is not a noticeable sounds.
Mine too so far has been quiet. I have also applied a transparent matte skin on my hinge so far no issues. I am using the spigen slim armor pro case which protects the hinge. still, once in a week or so I clean my hinge but I haven't yet used it in any dusty environment.
Mine does this at times, I've also noticed its worse if I have left it open or closed for a while. If you open and close it a few times its not as noticeable. I assumed thus was just the hinge brushes doing their thing.

This is exactly what mine does. Some people have speculated that it's the preinstalled screen protector that makes the sound. I think they said the sound went away after removing it, but mine is staying on. I have got used to the sound.
