Router reboot needed for WiFi connect

My O2 XDA Orbit II (HTC Touch Cruise) running Windows Mobile 6.0 will sometimes connect to my Netgear DG834PN router (latest drivers) just fine with its current settings, and I can happily use it for e-mail, surfing, etc. on the Internet. Sometimes it won't connect, or refuses to reconnect, until I reboot the router, when all is fine again - without changing any settings on router or phone. Two desktops are connected to the router all the time (no problems), a Nintendo Wii is permanently connected by WiFi, and I can connect with my laptop by Wifi every time without fail without ever rebooting the router. Any ideas where I should start looking for the problem with the phone? It surely must be with the phone, as everything else connects and stays connected just fine.

how can i turn my desire z into a router using existing pc internet connection

Hope you can help.
I know there are plenty of applications that will allow me to use androids 3g connection and turn it into a wifi hotspot, however, what I need to do is use a PC's internet connection and use my android desire z as a router to allow other PC's to connect to the same network. The PC does not have wifi or a router and is connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable.

Huawei u 8110 wi-fi problem

I have problem with Wi-Fi.After i change several ROM-s(pro celestial,TCT rlsd4,FZF 2.1)my phone can't connect to wi-fi(wi-fi working see avaliable networks but can not connect after says getting adress-connection faild).Anyone can help???

[Q] About Wi-Fi in Xperia X8

I've installed on my X8 Froyo Pro v01 for X8 (Revised from FroyoBread) from XDA-RK. The rom works fine except that im having a problem with the wi-fi. In his features he says "Wi-Fi "n" Standard enabled" and when i tried to connect to my router after the installation of the rom the router actually crashed! No connection was warking even with ethernet. I've tried this a couple times (by restarting the router) but without luck. What i did in order to make it work and connect to wireless is that i change the wi-fi in the router to use mixed mode for B/G devices. I was wondering if there's a way to disable the N setting in X8 or do something else in order to make it work.

[Q] xperia neo v wifi problem

Hi guys i use connectify from my laptop to connect my neo v to net via wifi.
But i am not getting proper speeds on the phone. It also disconnects (though it doesn't show up on the phone only on laptop, phone shows connected to wifi ) if i keep it ideal. Sometimes it gives speeds and sometimes it doesn't even open the sony homepage. Is it the problem with my phone wifi or is it usual with connectify. Since i dont have a router i cant check. Please help .

Your phone is updated at the system level? Because it can come with a default of your radio in the phone. Another version fixes may be your problem.

i have updated it by official pc companion and the rom is stock with bootloader locked

thanks for your help.It seems that the problem is with the ics kernel because connectify connects with gingerbread just fine.
