Development section???i posted it in correct q/a section.
And i want to ask:
In ics if we long press our tab screen(approx for 12secs) tab would automatically disable touch for 3 sec.
It leads to lot of problems while playing games.
So i was asking if it has been resolved in jelly bean.
Hope you would have got it.

I can confirm that waterdrop detection has gone in the latest JB stock firmware - it has new 3.0.31 kernel. All other ROMs (CM9, CM10, AOKP, Stock 4.0.4) with an old 3.0.8 kernel still have this "feature".

I can't make a video, just believe me, newest stock firmware has no waterdrop detection, flash it right now with mobile ODIN, or wait for softmods like RomsWell or Tab2Lite to be released

i think it is a problem of a few devices, maybe some different touch registering chip or something, my device had this 'waterdrop detection feature' (I personally think it is a bug, because it do not detect waterdrops as touch points) with kernel 3.0.8 ROMs, but with the new kernel 3.0.31, which is only in the latest stock, this 'feature' has gone

The one made by CM team otherwise get the unofficial one that isn't cooked or modded.
AOKP
I have a Samsung Note I717 running AOKP 4.1.1 Kernel 3.0.42
I havent had any issues that I have discovered. No bugs or hardware issues. Seems to be very customizable and runs very smooth.
I would highly recommend AOKP.

Theres isn't any roms out there with a good use of the s-pen besides leaked roms right?

Not from what "I" have seen. Most likely because that is one of the more low priority features. I mean I can still navigate with mine however I can't use the gestures that touch wiz provides. For ex: when you hold the s-pen
Button down while pressing and holding the pen to the screen,it takes a screen shot. Won't do that with AOKP.

Jellybam for epicmtd
Please see original rom link for details on features of the rom itself
Some notes:
Currently the soft keyboard does not pull up at first, you need to disable the hardware keyboard for it to pull up, and I that will need to be done at reboot time as well. To do that:
Settings, Language & Input, Default, Turn off hardware keyboard
This can only be used if you are using the NS4g modem, if you are not familiar with how to do that, please read the forum a bit, because the instructions are everywhere...
There will be some force closes at the start for Google TTS, they go away after awhile though... all of these are being looked into, I consider them minor issues really.
That being said, thanks to Effsi for the encouragement and looking into the issues I mentioned, iGio90 (Rom Dev) - Bliss_ (Art and graphics)

[ROM][TW]Stock Jellybean 4.1.2 25% port[T769][Recompiled Kernel]

It's time for it.
The long awaited,
Stock Touchwiz jellybean 4.1.2
Recompiled the Touchwiz kernel for the t769.
This is probably one of the most difficult things I have ever done in terms of android development. Well, the second most difficult. :good:
This is pretty much an unofficial touchwiz created by me.
Using 25% t989 libs and a lot of long hours, Touchwiz is suprisingly awesome on this phone. I've kept the zip pretty much like an update from Samsung, except its rooted and deodexed.
Wifi calling works. That is what matters :silly:
Current Bugs which are being sorted as we speak:
Camera rotation
Flash/Torch/Led
Light sensor
-----
In order to fix these bugs, I need to build these libs from another 4.1.2 rom source. In this case I used cm10
Kernel for GPL: https://github.com/somcom3x/tw_herc_kernel

Instructions:
1) download and flash TMobileT769JB4.1RootedDeodexed.zip first
2) flash jbherct769full.zip second
3) this zip third http://d-h.st/9wc
No gapps required!
Just in case.
Ready to flash!

Nice stuff
Very good Rom. I didn't think the blaze would ever get stock tw 4.1.2. Thanks man.
This is awesome!! Just installed, easy as pie! Thank you so much!
I was on the PacMac ROM and was having so many issues, I was about to go back to 2.3.6 until I found your post. I am so thankful!
No service fix
If anyone is not getting a signal, flash the T989 radio. It fixed the problem for me.:good:

I noticed a little problem, when watching any kind of video if I turn the phone sideways then screen goes black. When I turn back it plays fine.

Noticed it this morning. Seems I'll have to remove a ton of Samsung apps.
YouTube works somewhat.

does compass work on this ?
On a positive note, this ROM has given me the best battery life I have had so far. On all ROMs that I have used I underclock to 1.188-192ghz and set the processor to conservative, and io to cfq. If battery life is a big factor for you definitely give this ROM a shot!
