[Q] HTC Sync apk

Hey guys. On my HTC Inspire 4g, I accidentally deleted my HTC Sync.apk application..... No, I didn't mean to. That'd be retarded. Anyhow, anyone here nice enough to upload this file and post it in this thread? That'd be great Thanks!

Rooted stock or a sense ROM? I assume rooted stock since you can't just reflash and rooted since you deleted it but just making sure before I hunt down a wrong file!

Oops htcsync.apk my bad
ADB push or root explorer the apk to /system/app and set permission to rw-r-r

If your using a custom ROM, like your info says, why not reflash it?

I have non rooted htc explorer, and accidently uninstalled htc sync... please tell me how to reinstall it???

If anyone has the htc fm tuner that came with phone could you please post I can find it to unfreeze or reinstall after bloat remover

Did you try installing it through Astro file manager?

Try installing thru astro or drag and drop to system/app and change persmissions than reboot

placing the apk in system/app & changing permissions does not help.
still gives the error "app not installed"

Hi,
Unzip your ROM.
Go to system-->app-->and copy HTClisten.apk to your sd card.
It should ask whether you want to install it.
Say YES!

Done but never asked to install tried rebooting but still not there, anyother suggestions
Rather should I have said tried to install but it failed

You obviously are rooted. How about restoring the nandroid backup of the Tmobile One S 1.84 OTA that's in the Development section? Just backup all your other apps using Titanium so you can restore them afterward.

Using root explorer:
You can pull the missing apk's from a sense rom and push these into system/apps. Then long-press the apps you pushed and fix permmisions (check all the boxes) then reboot.

I need the HTC car app

It's a system app, you can't install it like a normal apk. You need to put it in /system/app (use root explorer or adb) and then set its permissions to rw-r--r--. Reboot when you're done and it should work.
