Will AT&T Roms will work on HTC One X international version ? I'm planning on buying the international version soon .. but I found stuff I like here
They will brick your device

No, none of the ROMs will work. They will either fail to flash, fail to work, or brick your device. The international (Tegra3 quad core) versions is completely different hardware internally from the AT&T variant (Snapdragon S4 dual core). And also, the memory is partitioned differently. Just stick to the ROMs in the international One X forum section.

Whats the difference between the Roms under the ATT/ RODGERS One X Android development and the ones under the Plain One X And. Development. I tried flashing the Android Revolution HD rom under the ONE XForum, However I was Unsuccessful. I am Guessing that the roms there are unusable by ATT/RODGERS One X users?
Question 2. One XL Roms.. Is there a diff. Between one X, One XL? I know there is a one x+. Is that what the XL is referring to?
One X is the international version with the quad core tegra 3 processor
OneXL is the ATT/Rogers variant with the dual core snapdragon s4 processor
You cannot flash roms for the version not for your phone, as the partition layouts are different.
In fact some of the One X roms (IceColdJelly) will brick your device with no easy way to unbrick at this time.
If you have an ATT One X DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING except for things from this forum section

Thank You . I am new to the one x. And after finding out that an Exploit was found I typed in one X Root and was brought to the Other forum were I was able too root my phone. I went through everything and bricked my phone twice. I had nothing, I lost everything even the recovery I made as my virtual SD was wiped in the process of flashing that rom. and Was unable to even follow the steps for catastropy on the page. I even downloaded an RUU and tried that. It wasn't until that didn't work that I realized that it was a non US RUU. and everyone on that forum was from a diff. Country. I typed in US one x ruu and found this forum for ATT One X. Good to know there is a difference.
Thank you so much!
Now what is the diff. Between the android development section and the Original Android development section?
Just bookmark this forum, and stay here, to avoid any future hassles. The 2 versions have completely different hardware, and the phones really aren't the same, except in name.
Geez One X Root dot com is ruining a lotta phones with their not distinguishing between the models :banghead:

They're not ruining phones. Phone owners who don't do research ruin their phones.

I have a Htc one XL on At&t and I was wondering if I unlocked my phone will I be able to get the update with the International phones?

No, you cannot flash international roms. You can however wait to get the jelly bean update for our phone.

I thinks he means if he unlocks the bootloader, later on wants to know if he can relock and revert back to stock and update to jellybean when it comes out for the one xl, and he could. But like ECEXCURSION said do not flash any international roms on your dual core one xl..
Ps why does your sig say htc one x instead of xl?
wrong section !!

Trying to load anything for the international One X will either fail or brick your phone. They are two different phones with the same name.
The AT&T One X/XL is completely different hardware internally than the international version. The fact that JB has rolled out for the international version has no bearing on our version, and it hasn't started rolling out yet.
We already have a Jellybean thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772429
Redundant thread closed.
i downloaded a rom, its a jelly bean sense 4.5 rom. the site i got it from said its a one xl rom but ive noticed a lot of people have mixed up the one xl (the u.s AT&T version) for the htc one x tegra 3 (the international one x) i need to know if theres ways that i can tell the roms apart by just looking through the files. are the apps the same? are the system files the same? otherwise i have to delete this stock rom that i really want
Only get roms from these forums. Its the only way to be sure

Not to be mean but you intend to try and start deving but you can't tell the difference between a tegra one x and a krait one x?
Slithered from my HTC One X+ running Viper XL+
Check the build.prop under system/
If it's a for the XL you should find multiple references to evita.
For extra points you'll find reference to the cpu architecture.
Remember this is just a guide on what to check for - I am not responsible if you brick your device because someone wanted to play an elaborate prank in which they changed all the details in the build.prop.

If you see
package_extract_file("boot.img", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p4"); in the updater script.. its definitely not a ROM for the XL. Unless the dev wanted you to brick on purpose

Why No one here is going to help me?
Why do not tell me that a manager. You Say.
Moved to the HTC One S forum.
I have no idea if your dual SIM version works the same as the international or tmobile versions, but you need to read up on this forum to find out.
Possibly some of these ROMs might work.

This section is for the Verizon HTC One in the States. It's not that no one here is willing to help, it's just that no one here will probably be able to help.

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a dual-SIM HTC One S, especially not a Z520e (otherwise known as S4). What you have is probably some sort of knock-off. How many buttons does it have at the bottom of the phone?
Yeah. That sounds like a knock off to me. Also the specs of ram and cpu don't match any known version of the One S I could find.
