How to root HTC Aria?

Is there a thread on this already? I want to side-load apps. AT&T is gay. lol.
Who can lead me in the right direction?
Thanks.
From the HTC Aria Android Development forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=730002
No Root needed for either of these options.
Use the Sideload wonder machine. Or you can find the version of HTC Sync that was accidentally released that allowed loading of apps.

Search for HTC Sync 3.0.5372 just don't upgrade it when it asks you =) or you will lose the ability to load apps

[Q] from windows to android

How can I put Android on my phone? I now have Windows Media 6.5...
Search the forums by the phone you have, go to android devolpment, there are a lot of Android roms that run from you SD card so you can have both operating systems. If you cant find one you like, ill send you links to a couple I have tested that work great.

Search your model in the top right searchbar (I wrote htc touch and 10 models exist so... I don't know which one is yours) and start from there. It won't probably be easy!
Good luck
can you send me some good links... it's quiet hard to change to android!!! I have an htc touch hd... is it something with that HARET.exe thing...

Here is the dedicated forum for the HTC Magic, Saphire, Mytouch 4G (They are all the same phone).
A simple page search for the word "magic" would have taken you straight to it.
There is no way to install windows on your device, however you should be able to install different versions or custom Android roms on it.
If you cant find anything here, It cant be done..

You can update to WinMo6.5. Not WP7. You should probably have a look around the forum section for your device. But that would take work, wouldn't it?
Reading is hard, I know. But we all had to start out somewhere. No body becomes an expert by acting helpless.
