Am in the same shoe and I ve searched and searched and cant seem to find anything, also looking for a shell case with no flap covering the screen, Not sure if this is due to Samsung releasing so many devices at the same time... Its very frustrating and I am beginning to realize why i left anything samsung before until Now all just because of the calling ability I saw in this...

Problem with a seller with that many feedback is, you can go months with purely negative feedback before it affects the % significantly.
The guy's a drop shipper. I actuallly bought a couple of Galaxy Portal cases and some SGS screen protectors from him last week. Had no problems with delivery on the stuff I ordered from him. I asked about the silicone SGS cases at the time and he told me he was currently out of stock - that's why I ended up buying the Zenus case.
ok, well ill order one up at £3.50 you cant really go wrong
If anyone prefers amazon,
heres a link to the item I bought mine from (it was despatched on Monday)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003U6VTOC/ref=oss_product
I ordered one of those yesterday and received an email through to say it had been despatched, hopefully it'll arrive soon.
Just a quick follow up to this, it arrived after a couple of days and for the money the case is great. It fits well and isn't too thick and does it's job of making the phone a lot less slippy.
The screen protector shipped with it was a Terrapin one which is not bad although the edges didn't stick brilliantly.
One thing of note for a few phone calls people were complaining that I sounded muffled and finally I checked the mic and the hole for it in the case was cut but it hadn't gone all of the way through, no wonder people had trouble hearing me.
lol, yea my gfs turned up, i ordered mine the day after here and 3 extra days later it isnt here lol.
hers like you said was a really good fit, surprising for the money, all slots lined up and for £3 even the camera cutout has a small bevel
really good value for money, but if you want a decent screen protector dont buy this one because its included, imho its crap, well compared to my martin fields
The wife got one of these for her galaxy..she thinks its ok, however she is going to buy a jelly one as well as this one gets dusty and covered in little hairs (so she tells me!)
Also the screen protectors edges don't stick very very well.
She'll keep you posted on the jelly one (but its coming from hong kong..so it may be a while!)
as far as im aware its pretty much jelly anyway, i would think the real 'wobbly' ones lol would attract more lint etc

yea it looks great, and even better when you put them on the phone.
However, do you know if these i9000 case going to be compatible with samsung Vibrant
it's of the same phone design, no difference in the buttons cut outs
the only difference is in the front facing camera which some of the USA carriers are missing
those cases doesn't cover the front anyways, so it's not an issue

[Q] Screen protectors: cheap vs expensive.

I would like to get a case/rotating stand for my GNote10.1. ( I will be buying from NewEgg. )
Looking at cases I discovered that a lot come in packages with screen protectors. An example is. ( This one is not the particular one I am interested in. It was just the first in my search. ) I thought if the protectors were any good I would get one.
So a few questions about screen protectors.
The most major question ( Aside from whether it's better to get a protector or go commando. ) is: do you get what you pay for? I've seen some protectors $1-$3, others 3 for $5.00-$10 some around $20. One I've seen 2 for $58. Are the cheaper screen protectors ( which are usually what comes with the bundle ) not as good as the more expensive ones? We all know that expensive is not the same as high quality. ( Under my breath: Apple. )
The second question is can putting these on/using them damage your screen? Is there some tacky substance that might be hard to get off? Is long time use likely to make them hard to get off?
Third question how do they affect sensitivity? Finger use? Spen use?
Also a quick question about the case. I've seen some cases described as being for the N8000 will these be any problem with the N8013?
do you get what you pay for?
- not really. some are more scratch resistant than the other. but a a $3-5 protector will still last you a year probably. then just get a new one. no need to invest in high end ones. there are some with the whole 'spy proofing' which unless you are looking straight at the screen you cant see anything. cool, but pointless also.
The second question is can putting these on/using them damage your screen? Is there some tacky substance that might be hard to get off? Is long time use likely to make them hard to get off?
-no, my old phones used to have screen protectors for a year or so, peels off very easily once you get a corner up. no residue, just peel it off and wipe with cloth and you are ready for the next sheet.
Third question how do they affect sensitivity? Finger use? Spen use?
-no problem. im using a matte screen protector now. no sensitivity problems noticed. but an affect on brightness.
Also a quick question about the case. I've seen some cases described as being for the N8000 will these be any problem with the N8013?
dont think there is any problem. but youll have to google the dimensions to be sure.

Don't bother with a screen protector on my tablet. It doesn't get into the same dark places which my phone does.

but im just curious why a screen protector and going into dark places are related...
I bought a fairly inexpensive screen protector and have loved it. Bummed I cannot remember what kind it was in case i ever need to replace it. No issues. I have the Samsung case, so my worry was something getting between the case and the screen and scratching due to back and forth movement of flap.

[VIDEO] Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Griffin Survivor vs Samsung Book Cover

I haven't really made a video in a while since I've been so busy at work. Had to force myself to do this one. Thought it might be helpful if you're trying to figure out which case suits your needs more. Please reply if you have any questions about either of these cases. I have a glass screen protector coming in soon. Using the Griffin without the built in screen protector changes the location of the buttons on the side enough that they are harder to hit.
The video is sloppy, long, and lengthy btw. I know...

Looks good! Griffin cases protected my ipad from a high drop. I might get this one since I may drop it soon. Since July i have not dropped my tab s yet. Thanks for the video!
That's a great review. I'm waiting on my 10.5 tab s and purchased the s book cover. I think it's gorgeous and you can't beat oem

Thanks. I really hope the glass screen protector works with that. It'd be a pretty nice setup at that point.

I put the Book Cover back on while I wait for the screen protector. It definitely looks clean and professional. Plus being able to support the weight by the cover makes it easy to hold / flip the cover on.
Had anybody seen the book covers on sale anywhere? I'm thinking I'm going with one of those.
Im wondering what is that shiny plastic thing on the back of your Tab S is that a 8.4 thing?
Are you talking about the two black clips on one side?

My 8.4 WiFi only model came in the paper sleeve you described.
Is it possible that you have a WiFi only model. The OP has the AT&T LTE version and AT&T has a tendency to package their products differently.

I hope you never drop yours if you bought the book cover! I dropped my 8.4 in my Samsung official book cover the other week onto a carpeted office floor and it bent the tab just enough to break the AMOLED LCD (without, oddly enough, breaking either the front glass or the tempered screen protector I had on it). Given that it's costing me around 70% of the purchase price to get it repaired (buying a tab with the most expensive screen tech available suddenly doesn't seem so smart), I'm kicking myself for assuming the official accessory would be pretty rugged.
Currently looking at buying a cover that's bombproof.

Are there any tempered glass screen protectors that works for z4 tab?

Hi, I recently bought a tempered glass screen protector to my new z4 for tablet. After installing it I noticed that touch sensitivity is very poor.
I have temperd glass screen protectors on all my devices and I didn't notice anything like that on neither of them. So I wonder, did I get a bad product or for some reason z4 tablet is not compatible with temperd glass at all?
Are you guys using temperd glass on z4s, which ones are worth recommending?
By the way I bought Muvit protector.
I'm in Germany and just ordered this one, one week with no sensitivity issues. Here is the name.. Sorry it's the German title
REMYO Panzerglas Xperia Z4 Tablet. Displayschutzfolie Xperia Z4 Tablet mit Härtegrad 9H und abgerundeten Ecken 2,5D. Schutzglas für das Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
Thanks for the info mate. So, you where using it for one week without tuch issues. That's great news!
Where did you order if from? I can't find it. Could you post a link?
I'm from Sweden so if I'm lucky enough, maybe your retailer ships to Sweden.
I found it on Amazon.de. Should be able to have it shipped to Sweden from Germany. this is my first tempered glass cover, normal use plastic ones.
I will say that it isn't the best for finger prints, but feels like the original screen.
They easily wipe off.
Hope it works well for you..... Let us know.

Deliverys from Amazon.de worked like a charm for me in the past. I found the product with ease. Unfortunatly there is one customer review pointing out bad sensitivity / trouble with input when typing just for z4 tablet. I'm little bit lost here, since you are saying that there are no issues.
May I ask you wich firmware are you running on your z4? Did you updated to 28.0.A.8.251 already?
yeah I'm running 28.0.A.8.251. I never had a any issues before putting it on though. I can't give you a money back guarantee.. . But I will share my experience. I did see some others on Amazon, but their reviews seemed a fake to me, might be the truth and worth a shot. I can give that one I recommended thumbs up after a week of trying it out.

Alright then, it sounds good enough for me. I'm ordering one right away. Thanks again!
Hi, I ordered one off ebay. It doesn't have a brand name so it just might have been some cheap stuff.
I had 2 issues with it:
First, I had very annoying input errors. The touchscreen did not register every touch, which was super annoying for typing text of course.
Secondly, the tempered glass broke when I entered it into the BKB 50 keyboard. It is only 0.3mm thick, so I thought it wouldn't be a problem, but it was.
Did not have the touch problems with the normal protection I used before.
I bought this from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WUBX7VG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
It's a tight fit, so no room for error. However, I haven't seen any touch degradation. It works. No lags in touches. Unless I pay attention, I can't tell the difference between it and the unprotected screen.
Transmissum est uti Tapatalk ab Xperia Z-IV mea.
wow so the point is when we use BKB50 we cant use tempered glass ?

Yes we can. Atleast Im using my z4 tablet with 0.3mm glasscreenprotector and the bkb50. And the tablet isn't allways on the keyboard, I have a separate foldable cover too. So z4 goes on and off from the keyboard and no cracks so far. It's a bit tight fit but no problems what so ever. Only problem that I did have was the sony's .251 update. After the update my touchscreen sensitivity went nuts. And only solution was to downgrade to previous firmware. If anyone still having problems with touchscreen sensitivity on .251 firmware I suggest downgrading. Heres how http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63116115&postcount=16
@petzku
i see
thank you for your explanation..
hopefully they will release the update soon that maybe more stable
I have tried the Brando Tempered Glass for Sony Z4 Tablet, and touch screen is not responding anymore.
There seem to be quite a lot of problems with the Z4 tablet and screen protectors, including the official PRT13 sony's one, and xperia support does not admit the problem.
On sony mobile forums, there seem to be a lot of problems with screen protectors and Z4 tablet.
(not only related to .251 firmware..)
Has anyone found a glass screen protector that doesn't interfere with the touchscreen? I just purchased one and it was interfering with the touchscreen sensitivity and input. If you have a suggestion on any good protectors let me know. I though this problem was resolved with the new software. I'm running android 6.0 right now

Hi,
I bought this one in France and it s perfect no touch screen issue so far, and perfect fit
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0199UGLGS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But I don't know if this trademark can be found somewhere else
This one (Rerii-Protector) which is great, the touch sensitivity is almost unaffected!
http://www.amazon.com/Rerii-Protect...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
I have bought different tempered glass screen protectors, but none has had a cut out for the proximity sensor, only for the camera. Even though some sellers show two cut outs on their photos.
Have somebody bought a protector with two cut outs that they can recommend? The Techgear one has some bad reviews unfortunately.

Question Screen Protector + Case + s pen Questions

Hi All,
I have just got myself a fold 3.
I have a few questions i need help with please.
1/. With external screen can a hardened screen protector be put on and if so do i need to remove pre installed protector?
2/. I am thinking of buying this case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0995WPCXJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2SFKRF5TPZMT5&psc=1
Am i correct to say just the basic s pen will fit and not the pro?
3/. Not sure between the standard s pen and the pro.
Want to make sure it will fit in the case.
Thanks everyone
congratulations on your new purchase mate! but this is the Flip thread not the Fold so I doubt you'll get many answers here!

Don't remove the stock protector until it's necessary. The screen is plastic and the protector is made specifically for it. Most protectors coming out now had little or no testing. Wait for the ones that are verified as suitable replacements, unless you have no choice.
That said, a lot of the film ones actually do work stacked directly on the stock protector to keep it a little cleaner and allow for replacing them without risk to the screen.

Thinking of coating mine in a liquid protector, I had it on my Note 9 and never got a single scratch on it, curious if the folding will somehow weaken it
