[Q] LED not working? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hey all. I just recently got an HOX and of course the first thing I did was root and flash a ROM. I'm on cm10 with rohan kernel and my LED isn't lighting up for notifications. It turns on when charging, red and green. It also works for notifications when plugged in but not when unplugged. Anyone else have this issue and or a fix?

Q: My Notification LEDs dont seem to work right?
A: Go to Settings -> Display -> Notification LEDs -> Add each application you want to have a notification for -> Set it to green color and long. (thanks to Richard V. for digging through this!)

I'm no expert, but have you checked the settings within the messages app? I know with some ROMs I've had in the past, basic options, such as this, aren't enabled by default... Might want to check those settings. If they are indeed selected, it's probably a bug in CM10, as it is a nightly build, its considered highly experimental. They could probably benefit from a breakdown of the issue as well as a logcat report if you felt like going as far as to report it.
Go into notification settings and make sure led lights is green, long and normal

I had notifications problem too with 0902 nightly. Wouldnt get any whatsapp notification. I ended up switching back to ICS because of it

[Q] Home and search buttons not working

Hi all,
Since installing CM7 (20130201) and Mazout's 2.6.32.60 kernel, my phone's home and search buttons are no longer functioning. Any ideas how to fix it? These are important functions.
It also doesn't go to sleep anymore, even when I push the power button.
Sounds like some gremlin mischief. Have you tried using the nullifier to wipe?
Edit: here's the link

Thanks TwitchyEye. That worked, for a while, but the issues are back now. And randomly, the menu/home/back/search icons light up when the phone's otherwise asleep.

Maybe it's something you restored?

Those are your lights acting as a notification. You can turn it off in cyanogenmod settings.

Where might I find that in the settings? I went through and couldn't find it.

Settings => CyanogenMod settings => Interface => LED notifications. I select unconfigured then, edit category settings, LED mode, and force LED off. I suppose if you wanted to you could set individual settings for applications. There's also a few apps in the play store that take care of it too.

[Q] Looking for Color LED notification app

Guys, I have tried light flow and light manager and I can't get these apps to work properly. Do you guys know any other app that works properly on Nexus 5 to control color of notification LED?
Thanks

LEDBlinker is another one
Yup, LEDBlinker Pro gives me no issues whatsoever, whereas Light Flow and Light Manager gave me nothing but issues.
Perhaps I'm just lucky then, LightFlow has been working fine for me on OmniRom.
Did you set up the app as per the developer website instructions?
Yes, I have tried many settings but it never worked right. I'm gonna try ledblinker now... fingers crossed.

Notification LED not working

Running the latest firmware of 11s, I noticed sometime in the last month or two the LED has stopped working when for example charging. I have all the led settings enabled in settings. I tried cm12 and the LED was fine. What could be the problem?

Check LED colors and such:
Settings->Display and lights->Notification light
Settings->Display and lights->Battery light
Be sure both enabled, check flash duration, and colors.

Checked them all and all are set correctly. Have tried changing them too to no avail. Is there a way of wiping specifically the led config? I am rooted so have filesystem access.

Good question--I hope someone else can pipe in, for I know not. Possible you've got some sort of app that would try and save energy by disabling the lights--or by stealing control of the lights?
Nope, no such app controlling the LEDs. I read some one had a widget which caused it not to work buy I have no such widget installed.
Is there any way to diagnose/troubleshoot before I reinstall ?
